    [MOC] Toy Store

After some time I finally found the time to finish my fifth Modular Building. With pleasure I present you my new work the "Toy Store". The "Toy Store" is a classic modular building, built on a 32x32 baseplate and consists of about 4420 bricks. The MOC consists of 4 modules (incl. roof). The base floor contains a well-stocked toy store. In addition to 3 display windows, it contains a small Lego assortment, a Starwars-themed section, sporting goods, remote-controlled planes and helicopters, teddy bears and much more. A corner staircase leads directly from the sidewalk to the terrace and 1st floor stores. On the left is a kebab shop with a small outdoor area with bar tables. On the right is Milos Hat Store - a small hat store with many huts. Another corner staircase between the stores leads to the law office of Mr. Right & Co on the 2nd floor. Clients are greeted by the paralegal in a small entrance hall. Through a narrow corridor you get to the lawyer's office. You can also see the whole project under MOC-113849 - Toy Store on Rebrickable. There you can also buy the building instruction as PDF for the rebuilding. Best you make yourselves a picture of it, much fun!

The home of Ole kirk MOC

hello LEGO fans around the world today 10th August 2022 lego celebrates their 90th anniversary and to celebrate I made a LEGO ideas MOC called THE BEGINNING OF THE LEGO HISTORY (90TH ANNIVERSARY Based on Ole kirk's house the place where the LEGO Group began their journeyIf you would like to see this one day become a real LEGO set and reach 10,000 support, please share and support it than at lego ideas:)https://ideas.lego.com/s/p:ddb75bfdf7644f8386cb25501c7a685eI also wish every LEGO fan and AFOL a happy 90 years of play and let's hope for many more great years to come. In the middle of the roof is a handle where you can easily lift the roof and view the details underneath. The office is the place where Ole Kirk came up with his ideas. In the office there are construction drawings of the house and of the wooden toys like the duck and a bus. The room contains several details such as an old-fashioned phone on the wall and a typewriter on the desk and many more small details to discover. the living room is the please where Ole Kirk can quietly drink a cup of tea while his grandson Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen builds a LEGO rocket with the new prototype parts in the year 1958. There is also a seating area in the living room. the store was the place where Ole Kirk sold his wooden toys like a number of iconic like the fire truck a blue car - truck - locomotive - plane and the wooden duck naturally. I also added an easter egg that refers to the Wooden Minifigure from 2019.
  3. A LEGO Nexo Knights app has recently been released on the app store and play store, I saw this opportunity to make a thread about the game. Feel free to talk about anything related to the app. Here's my question, are the Nexo Powers that you get for free in the game included in any official LEGO products?
  4. Last week we launched this project in which we have been working enthusiastically for 2 years. LINK removed The Ifs is a new educational toy that teaches kids from 3 to 10 years old the basics of computer programming. It consists of a family of four robots in which each member has different superpowers. The Ifs are full of sensors and actuators, but they need some instructions in order to function. Programming them is as simple as placing blocks on their heads with the help of magnets. No screens are involved. Tangible programming makes coding easy and accessible to children of a wide range of ages and abilities. LINK removed... Sorry for the "spam", but I thought it might be interesting for the forum members, I hope you like the project.
  5. I've done a lot more but why not share them from now on. First one the truck for carry cars and second one a RC car with ackerman steering by small linear actuator and L motor, simple and resistant constructions for a 3 years old child, he takes them everywhere and with the truck even sleeps so I need them not to be disarmed...

  7. For the past nine years the Hudson’s Bay Company flagship store in Toronto has displayed a beloved series of windows that depict Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves getting ready for Christmas, and other Christmas scenes. My winter village entry is a rendition of two of the five HBC windows. The first scene has elves feeding the reindeer and preparing Santa’s sleigh outside of the Toy Shoppe at the North Pole. The second scene is inside the building where the elves are busy making the toys as Santa goes over his list from the many letters he has received from children everywhere. I have tried to include most of the elements but have altered some of the design. The clock is the central feature of the piece and the elves are busily at work, while Mrs. Claus is helping out by bringing treats. Santa is checking his “Naughty” and “Nice” list after reading the letters sent to him by children around the world. Lego HBC Santa's Toy Shoppe3 by Karen Metz, on Flickr HBC poems that are in front of their windows (I have included one with the display): "With Christmas approaching young children are hoping that their presents will reach them according to plan, all wonderfully donated by a wonderful man. So Santa’s little helpers make sure is all right so that nothing will go wrong on that faithful night. They work with much diligence and a great deal of pride thus ensuring that Santa will have a smooth ride." Lego HBC Santa's Toy Shoppe2 by Karen Metz, on Flickr “The clock is ticking and the hours are dwindling The toyshop is bustling as the elves are preparing The list is revised and a plan is devised There’s no time to pause for old Santa Claus” Lego HBC Santa's Toy Shoppe5 by Karen Metz, on Flickr Lego HBC Santa's Toy Shoppe4 by Karen Metz, on Flickr Lego HBC Santa's Toy Shoppe8 by Karen Metz, on Flickr If you check out my Flickr page I have photos of the actual HBC Christmas windows. I have also created a second story that can be added to my MOC that depicts the last of the five HBC windows with the elves and Santa relaxing to a fabulous meal after all the the presents have been delivered around the world. I have posted pictures of this floor/window as well on Flickr if anyone wants to check it out. It is not quite finished (need to change some parts). I haven’t included this level for the contest since I would have greatly exceeded the size limit. Happy Christmas to all! P.S. The Hudson’s Bay Company is the oldest company in North America (founded in 1670) and is known for its iconic white wool point blankets with green, yellow, red and blue stripes.

    Lego Kids Bedroom

Here we have a kids bedroom complete with toys, a bedside table, toy chest, and of course a bed. The room is fairly small and only built with two walls like most of my builds to allow for unobstructed view in photography and "showing off." The toy chest is a chest with side things which make it look like a bench/chest. An overview A top view Another front view Another Side View
  10. A boys (probably) room from the 80s. I got inspiration to this model after watching some 80s movies that contained scenes similiar to this one (such as E.T., Goonies etc) and saw how cosy and detailed these rooms were, filled with toys, but still well-decorated and organazied for the movie. Perhaps you recognize some of the toys?
