  1. This fast electric locomotive and it's train was inspired by sets 4511 (2003's "High Speed Train") and sets 4561 / 4560 (1999's Railway Express), and has been dubbed the "Sunset Streak". The orange stripe on the train can be replaced with green, blue, red, black or yellow, while the white can be replaced with black, if you so desired. This model features two locomotives, each with either red or clear lights for either rear or head end duties. This print here is for the two windscreens (they aren't printable in LDD), while the train's number tiles (12 on one cab car and 16 on the other, for example) printed 1 x 1 tiles are not there and are missing from the file. Four of this print go on each power car, (on the left and right sides) like this: <- -> This is supposed to make the classic Lego train logo in tiles, which sadly has never been available in printed form at all. Each locomotive has an abundance of control tiles and two pantographs per cab car for power pickup from imaginary wires. Also on the train is four passenger cars with no interior and four half-stud recessed doorways per car. However, as it is LEGO after all, you could easily modify the cars to have removable tops, inside seats, and even and opening doors (Emerald Night style). The LDD file is available for download here. Comments, questions, and complaints are always welcome!

    Sunset mirage

Once upon a time some redcoats caught a pirate, an enemy of the British crown. He was so terrible that the royal guards and even yeomen were taking him by sea to the Tower of London. But the ship was attacked and sunk by his rascal friends. Still the redcoats won the battle and captured the pirate ship. You can see how she was damaged - almost no sails etc. Actually it's a combination of 6286 Skyll's Eye Schooner and 7416 a boat of the Oriental Expedition. Unfortunately I don't have sails for it and can't buy them anywhere. If you like it please support my 2 LEGO ideas projects and leave your comments here. Many thanks and happy building. Sorry, the picture isn't loading thogh I tried hard. Maybe later. You can see the ship completed with brick sails using this link. http://www.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery/cee9167d-0f50-422f-bac7-703551d52c60?index=5&categoryId=64929898-C52F-49D8-B106-C0C36314093C Principally Square-rigged, 3 masts 22B You can find the "Sunset mirage" photo here: http://www.us.lego.c...a9e3495?index=1 Below you can see 8286 and 7416. My link shows how I combined them. For example, I put small pirate flags near the cannons instead of gfeen ones.

    Sailing into the Sunset.

A continuation of my pirate story. Previous. The pirates had just swarmed aboard the vessel and were congratulating themselves on ousting the spaniards from their ship. "Those Spanish will find it mighty tedious being marooned on that island! Har har har!" Bob laughed as he clambered down the hailyards. "Indeed they will, Bob!" Captain Mark was busy inspecting the helm of his new prize. "But I can hardly wait to see our compatriots' faces when we sail into Tortuga with the skull and crossbones over this mast head! Myar har har!" "Ahoy Cap'n! " "Arrr! What bad news do ye have now, Preston?! Can't you see we're reveling in our victory?!!" "...It ain't bad news Cap'n! I just found out that the hold of this here vessel is filled to the brim with gold and treasure! We're rich!" .......... And so, the fortunes of Mark of Tortuga and his fearsome crew quickly changed from penniless fugitives to wealthy buccaneers, ready and willing to sail the seven seas for even more treasure! The End. For now...
