[pid][/pid] 150A HMS Dark Tan Beauty (For lack of a more original name.) Yep, this is what happens when you combine a recent viewing of a Pirates of the Caribbean movie with the "Sorting" of an old Indiana Jones set that just happened to have boat parts in it. Of course, I also had to find a way to integrate some dark tan parts. I'm quite proud of the overall smoothness and sleekness of this ship, so I hope you like it! It's my first true ship MOC, and Jack is thrown in rather randomly, but it's always fun to try something new. Hope you don't mind the sup-par picture quality. OK, I may be going out on a limb, but I figured that I could use a frame from my upcoming Brick Flick to enter this lesson. If not, or if for some reason it's not what you wanted, or doesn't demonstrate what you asked for, that's fine. I'll just do something else. Longtooth has a secret retreat. A hidden place where he builds and upgrades his speedor. It is deep in a maze of ruins and passageways, and only he knows the way in. Here is the Fourth Doctor's TARDIS interior. Complete with K-9 and a bag of Jelly Babies. The design stayed fairly the same throughout the 70's and 80's, and only went through minor modifications until it was replaced in the TV Movie of 1996. The mix of old and new grays is due to lack of parts in the same color, and sadly couldn't be avoided. The console itself was fun to design, and went through several versions before I settled on this one. The angled walls were also 'fun', but in a slightly different way. Still, the final look was worth the effort. The walls are made with 1X4 arches and 2X2 Inverted disks. And they do in fact have a tendency to fall out as the space isn't that tight. Smauglock by SteampunkDoc, on Flickr Well, what all is completely horrible? Can't say I've ever done a comic like this before, but it's not half bad if I do say so myself. Never mind, I'm seeing a bunch of flaws already, I know it's bad, so try to break things to me easy.
