    MOC: Asteroid Bar and Fuel

In the depths of space, a rest stop is a welcome sight. The Asteroid Bar has parking, fuel, entertainment and food for anyone in the system. The bar itself is a popular haunt for travellers and locals alike. Regulars always have someone new to meet, compete with or scam! There are some familiar and not so familiar faces to spot. I built this as a display for a local Comic Con in 2019, the parking area is lit up by EL wire, with a battery box hidden under the fuel pumps. The dance floor is a construction over a grid that holds fairy lights with a few different colours and lighting patterns, I tucked that box aside as I wanted to change the pattern throughout the day. Because it was for a comic con, I wanted to build something that was fun to look at and spot characters from pop-culture and also fun aliens and robots that I made up myself. It went down very well at the con and was a fun build. However I have more SciFi plans afoot, so these photos from the day are the best I'm going to get, this is ear-marked for take-down and a new creation. Apart from the dance floor, I want to work this into future layouts (if we ever get to do them again!) Who can you spot? Do at least a few of my joke scenes and references hit?
  2. i made some race spaceships and this is the first model The Blue squid V2 the instructions can be released if you want
  3. Hi everyone! I was thinking about a potential future LEGO Space theme. I thought something like Space Police IV vs. Blacktron III would be nice! I also thought about using a modular system. This meant the cockpit and the ship bodies (along with potentially other parts) were connected but could be separated. With more sets bought, you could have variety in your spaceships. Today I have the first spaceship. It is a Blacktron III spaceship, contains 197 parts, and would retail for $19.99 USD, £17.99 GBP, and $39.99 NZD The Blacktron trooper is getting away! Deploy the Space Police officer with his special jetpack in hot pursuit! Stop her from stealing the precious rocks!! Set comes with swiveling cannons, stud shooters, opening crate with storage, and spring-loaded shooters. Cockpit also opens! Separate the ship into modules! Combine the modules with your other sets to create new spaceships! Also swap around the cannon positions to suit your wishes! Thanks for looking VaderFan2187 out!

    Hello I'm HighDesertBrikr

Hi, my name is HighDesertBrikr. I also have a YouTube channel by the name of Nerf & Lego Fun. I have been building with Lego Bricks as long as I can remember. I like building little mechs and spaceships, if you are subbed to the MFZ reddit than you already know that. I have been thinking about joining EB for awhile now and finally did. I hope you like my builds and comments. HDBrikr out =-). P.S. Remember Jeses loves you and said "I am the way, the truth, and life. No one comes to the Father but by Me." and "For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved!

    Mars Base

Almost completed my Mars base still waiting on 10,000 1x1 round plates in lugbulk to finish the ground detailing so had to display it as is at our show last weekend. I will be showing it next year as it will be ten years since Mars Mission and will be adding more Mars Mission sets to the display, and a hanging frame so they can be suspended above it.
  6. Hello everyone! My name is Neomar Dethron. I've been in Flickr posting and making many different MOCs for the last few years, and now I decided to join Eurobricks :) I enjoy building castles, and sci-fi stuff about random or made-up themes. If you want, go check my Flickr photostream to see the stuff I've been building :) Have a great day! My Flickr: https://www.flickr.c...neomar_dethron/

    [moc] Boats suck. Spaceships RULE.

...and if you disagree, then let me know, what's it like to be so wrong? Does it hurt? Anyway, I bought set 60085, and I'm not sure why. Eventually I rebuilt it into something else. In my mind City and Space were always part of the same theme, coterminous, and if I ever become rich I'm going to build a city to reflect this - futuristic buildings and cars with a decent spaceport, none of Lego's current space shuttle stuff. Anyway, here's something along those lines, a truck transporting a little spacecraft. Trailer has legs for parking, can also fit one of my standardized space cargo containers, and the little shuttle seats two. Then I had to think of something to do with that huge dumb boat hull, so..it's a spaceship of some alternate space faction. Yes, that's it. These guys like orange and gray for some reason. I need more orange parts, it never ends...
