  1. "A First Meeting with the Onondaga" Upon their arrival at Elizabethville, Captain Brickleton had his men set up a camp behind Fort di Legno. An abandoned cabin across the main path from the soldier's camp caught Captain Brickleton's eye and he inquired with the town mayor as to its provenance. He learned it had been home to a local merchant who met her demise earlier that year at sea in a run-in with Sea Rats. With no family, the cabin had sat vacant since. Captain Brickleton made a formal offer to the town Mayor and purchased the cabin. He would be immediately adjacent to his men in camp, but would have a roof over his head rather than tent canvas. About two weeks after moving into the cabin, Second Lieutenant Bolton of the Elizabethville militia came by and announced they had received a letter for Captain Brickleton from a passing frigate. As the lieutenant was presenting the letter to Captain Brickleton, two native Onodaga warriors appeared and made introductions. Captain Brickleton was on edge during that first meeting, having never met a native before. However, he quickly realized the two Onodaga were jovial and kind. They shared some cordial and nuts. Once the guests had left, he opened the letter and was glad to see it was from Elsabeth Stockton. The cabin wasn't large, having only one room, but it had plenty of space for the man by himself. He purchased a bed in town and brought it back to the cabin. Captain Brickleton inquired with the Onondaga warriors about their feathers and learned they came from the plumage of a white eagle. Captain Brickleton was pleased by the many windows in the cabin, which would have otherwise been quite dark. The cabin needed a good sweeping, but was in pretty good shape for having sat vacant. Licensed as a small residence
  2. Another beautiful day in Quinnsville. Captain Bran is enjoying his coffee when he walkes the streets, listening to the noise of the craftmenship and inhabitants of this small settlement. As he walkes the wooden bridge to the warehouse on the east side of the river he stops and stares at his so called home. A warehouse where he stayed the last couple of weeks. His face lit up, he likes it here, but the hammock on the top floor of this building isn't suitable for a long stay. Captain Bran summons two of his loyal compagnons. The naval officer and a converted sea rat called Jacobus, who does small and short ranged trade businesses for the captain. After a small debate, the men agree on settling in Quinnsville for a longer term. Which basically means they are here to expand the town, set up shop and operate from this port. Captain Bran talked to Sir Thomas Smaugton on claiming the east part of town just across the river, on which the men agreed upon. The first thing to rise beside the warehouse is the second most important thing to being a good leader: Captain Bran's residence. A leader can't be focussed if he has no office or even worse, no good night sleep. Information on the build: 1) 1st freebuild of August 2) location Quinnsville 3) small residence
  3. The "Strada Iniesta", named after Román Esteban Fontonajo's father, is one of the older areas of the city. It comprises many living houses, but also some taverns and smaller shops or workshops. The picture below presents one of the residences owned by the Fontonajo family. It's a smaller house, currently rented by a middle aged man called "Santiago the Magician", who minds his own business, whichever this may be.
  4. Gideon Saulse de Bothnia has bought a small dwelling in Breshaun on LeBellan to serve as his initial base for his venture into New Terra. He is proudly displaying the crest of his family on the house, which however seems to be in need of some repairs. (OoC: This build started out as an attempt to build half-stud offset cracked whitewashed walls plus as a test of a dark orange-medium dark flesh roofing technique. I will license this as a small residence as soon as I get the hang of the EGS rules)
