    [MOC] Danse Macabre

A dose of encyclopedic reminders: The Danse Macabre (Dance of Death), is an artistic genre of allegory of the Late Middle Ages on the universality of death. It consists of the dead, or a personification of death, summoning representatives from all walks of life to dance along to the grave. The effect was both frivolous, and terrifying. It was produced as memento mori, to remind people of the fragility of their lives. So remember: Vanitas vanitatum et omnia vanitas, and even bricks will turn to cinders and ash, especially since they are made from plants (by the way - they will last longer than our bodies, anyway). Movie: And some pictures:
  2. Lego Halloween – Custom Minifigure Welcome, friends! My new Lego Custom Minifigure – Hallow, a Sealed Mystic from my Lego Custom Undead Universe. I would say it better suits for Lego Halloween Theme. Thanks to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego customs. Lego Halloween is certainly an interesting topic for lovers of tickling their nerves – inhabitants buried under gravestones, bats, ghosts and transparent cubes. And certainly an indispensable attribute of the holiday and traditional decoration is a pumpkin lamp. Let's say «thank you» to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego custom minifigures. The holiday is firmly associated with supernatural. Rituals, horror stories, legends about ancestors, children wearing role-playing costumes with pumpkin lamps, and certainly clubs and Halloween parties for adults)) Super Holiday! The roots of the holiday go back to the tradition of the ancient Celts of Ireland and Scotland which is interesting in itself. We need to say a separate «thank you» to Halloween for Halloween's attributes that make this Holiday so atmospheric! Have a look at my Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure. I hope you will like it! The Lego Halloween custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel – Here. I've already customized more than 300 lego minifigures from the Lego Dark Fantesy Direction and the skeletons of the Army of Darkness. If you like my works, feel free to subscribe to follow me! Thank you for your attention! My previous projects on Eurobricks: • Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall Warcraft • Baba Yaga from Russian Folk Tales • Soul Taker – character from cult games and pearls of modern fantasy worlds – Lego Custom Minifigure
  3. My new custom lego minifigure – Soul Taker. Soul Eater is found in cult games and pearls of modern fantasy worlds such as Diablo, Skyrim, Dragon Age, Warcraft, Lineage and many others. Lasting the uncountable millennia, calming down, again inflaming in the new worlds, eternal war of forces of Light and Darkness, Angels and Demons, the Order and Chaos leads to emergence of the opponents much surpassing ordinary soldiers on both parties. Certainly, one of such generations of forces of Darkness is Soul Taker. Ordinary people are not lucky to live in the middle of this war in a hearth of never-ending battle. In attempts to survive or for the sake of finding of power some of them sign the contract with Darkness forces and come over to the side of the Evil, having started practicing dark magic. In a fantasy Universe of Lego Custom Undead Soul Taker comes to the world of living by killing his reviver – the Dark Wizard. Having taken control of the book of Soul Eater and also several artifacts which the Dark Wizard collected during the wanderings and search, Soul Eater begins the way in the world of the living with one purpose – to make this world the dead. Clever, cunning and artful, Soul Eater mastered a way allowing to release the opponent's soul and then to absorb her. It is difficult to stop Soul Eater who aimed at the enemy. Having chosen the victim, he promptly starts the feast. With his spells he practically immobilizes the victim, causes it severe physical and intolerable emotional pain. And then, when the victim is weakened, he takes away her soul, fills up the magic force and comes back to catacombs to continue his magic rituals. The Soul Taker custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel.

    [MOC] Pirate Lord Dreadwind

Pirate Lord Dreadwind by Mohamed Marei, on Flickr "Prepare for the plundering of yer lifetime, ye wee scallywags!" <Additional Photo> This is sort of a wrap up of a WIP that I had started 4 years prior, when I set out to build a crazy pirate skeleton dude incorporating this head design3. However, I never managed to finish that design and had to put this on the backburner indefinitely. And here we are, a whole four years (and an entire LEGO collection rebuilt from scratch) later. Hope you guys enjoy it and I look forward to showcasing some more MOCs on here! It's been years since I posted something here XD
  6. Pumpkin is significant symbol of Halloween. Combing Pumpkin and skeleton horse carriage will be excellent idea. The cabin of carriage is pumpkin shape with two eyes and nose on it. There are two doors can be opened. Three skeletons and one big boss, vampire included in this set. One skeleton will operate this carriage, two other guarding at the back. Four skeleton horses are pulling the carriage. Between those two at the front and two at the rear can be turned. The carriage front wheels can also be turned. The flexible setting can let you set the model in different position. I believe this model is definitely good for kids to play for long time, and a great decoration for Halloween. This model total pieces count is 355. I hope you will like and support this project. 7. Here's my version of a skeleton logging car. These are loosely based on the logging cars my father had on his H.O. layout when I was young. I might build a couple for my 4-4-0 to pull around, but I'm undecided for now. Below is a pic and a link to the .lxf file on Bricksafe. I'm putting out a couple of other cars that I've designed but not built. https://bricksafe.com/pages/sed6/lego-train-logging-car Hope you like, comments always welcome.

  9. Meet one of the worldwide known halloween symbols. Skeleton in his grave. Or may be out ! He can open his tomb and pull out arms. And also he is able to bite somebody. I think he will look perfectly with my Pumpkin Scary video is here: HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!
  10. - The Dead are alive - "007 Spectre" opening scene anyone ? Día de Muertos celebrations are taking place in Mexico at this time of the year. I have always liked their atmosphere and aesthetics, and the way they honor the memory of lost relatives and friends in a colorful an joyful way. (yes, I do have a sweet spot for The Book of Life and Grim Fandango too) This is my best attempt at creating a float that could take part into the parade. I wanted motion, as much of it as possible. So it has : forward / backward moving legs / arms / head spinning platform (subtly) dancing mariachi All movements are linked together, speed is adjusted with the remote control. It also includes lights, because the parade does not stop at night ! Powered by : 1 M-motor - 3 PF lights - 1 IR receiver - 1 PF speed remote control - 1 PF AAA battery box (88000) + black light to enhance the night shots Please enjoy ! Link to the video (could not embed it, sorry) : El Dia de Muertos by autoreverse, on Flickr and a few stills : Thank you for passing by ! [First contribution by the way, after years of delightful lurking. Yay !]

    He-Man MOC

I wanted to share this MOC I created with the Eurobricks community. Here's a link to a LEGO Ideas project (I don't know if that's allowed or not). I know this seems like shameless self-promotion, but honestly this is the only place on the internet I have pictures of this MOC. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/150470

    [MOC] Skull Underpass

Believe it or not, this is my first time making something besides a car without instruction, and I'm pretty proud of how I used the pieces. This originally started out as just the skull piece with the lower jaw, and I soon put on the ears and crown. What followed was a lot of blocking out the back, until eventually I decided to make it elevated. This is the final result!
  16. Hello, I have presented my small "Waiting for the train" vignette some time ago. Upon presentation there were some suggestions to have at least some representation of a train station as well. Since that one was too small to fit it, I have expanded my MOC to a 32 x 32 footprint. I hope you'll enjoy :) EDIT: This MOC is now on LEGO Ideas - please support it by clicking here if you like it: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/96989 THANK YOU! I am especially happy with the bench: All the pictures are here: http://bricksafe.com..._train_expanded

    [MOC] Skeletor Badbone

Skeletor Badbone by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Not much to this really. I had a burning desire to attempt to build a fully poseable and reasonably realistic looking LEGO skeleton after seeing the summer Bionicle sets (being loosely inspired by their overall theme as well as all those "living" skeletons you might see in fantasy or horror settings). This is what resulted. Please note this build isn't intended to be 100% accurate or completely proportional to a human skeleton, it's just meant to resemble one Youre welcome to have a look at the LXF to see other angles in the build and attempt to build it yourself for personal use (though many colour substitutions will have to be made. I think a black version is feasible IRL), however it uses a 3mm rigid flex rod in it's spine to achieve the spinal arc so I'm not sure how stable the build will be. Positive and constructive comments are welcome.

    MOC: Skull Ripper

I really like the designs for the Bionicle sets we're getting this summer, so this here is a MOC built in the same sort of style. It was fun figuring out the ribcage detail, and also working with lots of transparent parts. If enough people ask, I may just make a how-to on how to build this guy! EDIT: Instructions here!

    [MOC] Spider Attack

This is our special Halloween Lego MOC, called 'Spider Attack'. I hope you like the MOC and the Halloween video effects. I've also made a video with an audio voiceover description, which I'll post on Saturday night. Mike
  20. With the recent LDD update adding in the Fire Vs Ice Chima parts I was able to update my model of my Skeleton Dragon. Gallery when public (In the gallery is also an armor stand and seat for my minfigure. Also the .lxf file) http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=548886 First My Custom Sigfig Baron Von Brickstein. (I have LDD and IRL pics of him) Just a quick bio of him. He was originally my character in Lego Universe. When it was closing down. He took a fragment of the Imagination Nexus and built a portal out of the game into the Lego World. He then used the fragment to make another Imagination Nexus and built a Skeleton Castle atop a mountain. He then took control of the Ninjago Skeleton Army and the Fantasy Castle Skeleton Army and made them soldiers of good. He wields a battle axe and a armor harness that can sprout dragon wings for flight. His axe and armor harness have slots to plug imagination in them to power them up (Represented by 1x1 trans clear round tiles. Might be changed to the Arkenstone printed ones in the LOTR set The Lonely Mountain) LDD Pics (Have what IRL Colors would be but no printing since it isn't available in LDD) http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=6170230 http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=6170231 http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=6170232 http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=6170233 IRL Pics (Using the same pieces in existing colors. (moc) Jac

hey so I don't know if there are any special rules when it comes to posting mocs I just saw people posting bionicle and related constraction stuff in this area so I'm gonna have a go with what could of been considered my 'self moc' til I decided self mocs are kind of stupid; Jac -small, simple build focused on form and making something that's instantly recognizeable (I wasn't going for piece count or complexity here) -I'm well aware of the fact that not all the pictures are that clear, but I think it's a simple enough design to get despite that -Hey sorry for all the pictures. Is this too much? I really don't have much to say about the moc, but I'd love to get like, I don't know, opinions? Thanks

    Filth

Flith - Experimental Biotech. So I got a bunch of these white parts a few weeks ago and just started putting them together. This is what came out in the end. It draws inspiration from the cat creature from the movie 9, as well as the machines from the Portal series. I'm rather satisfied with how it turned out. Your comments and criticism is very appreciated, as always!
  23. Hi folks, I am a long-time Lego-fan, from childhood into adult life, but haven't posted here previously, so I hope that this is ok. Amongst other bits and pieces, I am involved in the world of designer toys and was keen to pursue a crossover into the land of Lego. As such, I have produced a micro-version of Skelevex, the skull-based collaboration between artist DMS and I. This just happens to be compatible with minifigs and is available as a 3D print output from shapeways.com: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/alto Hope you like it! Thanks, chris
