rc buggy for Buwizz fast car competition

Hello Guys, Today I would like to present my first moc here, which was built for the Buwizz fast car competition. I have been back to Lego for about 2 years now. I have built a few Mocs, and mods, but I have not found them good enough to show to others. :) I hope you like this little buggy, let me give you some more information about the build. I was half way with a build when I heard about the competition, so I decided to change that according to the rules. I usually build with more motors, so the challenge for me was to make the model efficient. I started with a 4wd version, with differential on both axles. The main feature was the independent suspension with small pneumatic pistons as shock absorbers. I started to test this solution on Agrofs buggy modded by Kbalage. It worked well, so I decided to use this solution in this build to help the stability of the car after the jump. As you see, I had to give up the 4wd setup, as the single rc buggy motor even with Buwizz 2.0 was just not enough to do the job. I have some pictures of the old version, and I have a plan to put 2 motors in it, will post that, once its built. So I decided to reduce the friction by eliminating all the gearing, so the rear wheels are propelled from fast output. Ideas for damped shock absorbers

I recently bought 8 Damped Shock Absorbers to use for suspension, but I was wondering what else they could be used for? What have you used them for? And what is the most unusual use you can think of? For anyone in Australia, here is where I got them: Lego Technic Lego Pneumatic Shock Absorbers, and the seller has heaps of them! -

[HELP] Disassamble 9.5L Shock Absorber

Hi, I'm looking for a way to disassemble a large shock absorber, without causing any damage. I want to place a soft spring on a yellow/black shock absorber, which is originally equiped with a hard spring. Has anybody experience with this? Any help is very much appreciated. Regards, Diederik -
Can Clorox Wipes Rust Metal On Lego Shock Absorbers?

Hello. I have around 16 used shock absorbers that I purchased from BrickLink, all used. When they arrived, I cleaned them thoroughly with a Clorox Wipe. I spent about 1 minute wiping each one. Can the bleach in the Clorox Wipe rust the metal spring? Is there anything I should do to prevent rust? Thank you. -
Lego Technic Shock Absorber Spring Rate Guide

Hey Everyone! I had an idea to create a guide showing various shock absorbers being decompressed to help anyone trying to guess what springs to use on their Mocs if they know roughly what weight it will be. I tired to press down on each spring at around 90% without bottoming out, to give an idea of the maximum weight each one can take. All springs used are in very good condition, with the exception of the Pneumatic one which grinned a bit, but being almost 20 years old we'll let it off! Anyways I hope this is useful, let me know if you have any suggestions or can give info on the last spring which I don't have. Cheers.
