  1. I’ve been collecting Lego since I was a child and I have a ridiculously large collection, 90% is built or deconstructed and stored in labelled bags per set. i’m getting to a point where I need to stop buying Lego or move to a bigger place as there is just so much, what would the community do, sell it off individually (taking the rest of time) or look to sell as a large lot? are there even places that would buy such a large collection and where is the best place to advertise/sell if I go down that route?
  2. Will sell only as a lot via eBay. Contacting me via eBay is the best way to ask a question. https://www.ebay.com/itm/352755787329 More pictures on eBay.
  3. I've finally decided to part ways with Bionicle (sorry Constraction Forum!!!). Maybe I'll get back into it if we ever get a G3, but for now, I'm selling all of my G1 sets. Will sell only as a lot via eBay. I am very open to offers, so don't let that price discourage you. Just be fair - there's a ton here! Contacting me via eBay is the best way to make an offer or to ask a question. Feel free to ask! Read the full description on eBay. More pictures on eBay as well.
  4. Hello! I am just curious about this, and was wondering if anyone here has had experience in selling your MOCs online, or physically (like in a convention)? Because I have some interests in selling some MOCs myself, but I haven't had any experience doing so and it would be really great if you could give some advice on it. Here are some questions that I have: .1) How do you calculate the pricing on your creations? Do you charge based on costs of parts, workmanship, and shipping charges? Do you also mark up some more after that? .2) Have you experienced any pitfalls or miscalculations that might result in a loss of profit? Do some of you sell, but not for the profit? .3) How do you order your parts to build the models? If it's from sites like Bricklink or Ebay, there is the added price of shipping. Does every charge for shipment add up to the MOC's price? - Or do you bulk buy LEGO kits and create MOCs from there. If so, how do you go about calculating the price of the MOC? I would be very grateful for your advice on this! Many thanks!
  5. Hi Again, I can not find an unopened boxed set of 42030 in perfect condition. I of course will pay as long as the price is not "over the clouds". I live in Istanbul. Can anyone help me in this? Many thanks in advance, Idris PS: The admins can lead me to a "buying-selling" topic, if any, because I couldn't find one as a newbie.
  6. I briefly got back into building this year, but recently have taken interest in the world of RC and have started a custom project. Because of this as well as a busy college schedule, I've been thinking of parting with my collection, and I'm not sure what is the best way to approach this. Do I part out items and sell separately? I have already taken my most expensive items and made listings on BrickLink at a competitive price, but the vast majority of my collection is still on the shelf in sorted, wall-mounted containers. Do I sell in bulk? It seems to be the fastest way to sell large amounts of pieces, but often go for cheap and with random pieces, whereas I have neatly sorted according to color and/or part type. Change my mind and hang onto it? It's been a big part of my younger years, but my interests have changed and I find myself after performance and reliability in my projects, something that can only be done with metal. Are there people out there who snag entire inventories? I think BrickLink would be the most lucrative option as I need the money for this new project, but would also take a long time to sell everything, or at least my most valuable items. The rest can be sold in bulk, especially non-Technic pieces. Is there anyone here that has gone through the same process? I'd be interested to hear your stories.
  7. Hello, I am going to start selling some instructions for my best mocs and I was wondering what should I include in the folder I sell someone. I'm thinking; PDF of instructions a "readme" file telling the user anything they have to know the LDD file Pictues of completed set bricklink parts list (Don't know how to do that yet) Does that seem alright? Is there anything obvious I'm missing? This is my first time selling instructions. Thanks, MovieMocs

    Selling my LEGO!

So, I'm selling my LEGO. All of it. I'm selling my figurines to my friends, but, how much can I sell a kilo for? Basically "normal" peaces. I have all my rare parts in another container. So, nothing rare. Just average, normal lego.
  9. Alright, so I'm basically running out of room to either to buy or build & display sets so I'm going to be selling some of my brand new (unopened) sets on eBay (would also help to make some money back). It's been a LONG time since I last tried selling something on eBay so I need tips. I'm selling stuff ranging from exclusives to small little sets (that originally retailed at like $7-$10). I did a quick estimation on Canada Post, and shipping even something as small as like the 7638 Tow Truck will cost like $10. Is shipping at such a high cost just the reality or is there anyone I can lower the shipping a bit so that I don't scare off potential buyers? At the moment I'm thinking of selling within Canada and also the US, but I feel like that shipping fee is gonna scare off many. I'm most likely going to be using eBay as the site for me to sell on.
  10. Hi, all lego Lovers! I just want to promote my small BrickLink store, Stockholm Bricks. I sell only new parts so if you are looking for sets or polybags you will end up empty handed in my store. I do have bricks for moderate prices, I am currently heavy on "Technic Connectors", "Lift Arms" and the bricks you find in modular houses, town and city. Anyone who place an order this week and acknowledge Eurobrick will get 20% the shipping fee from Sweden. I have no minimum amount, no lot fee, no handling fee, no paypal fee or anything like that. I currently have a sale on 662 lots. The rest of the parts are priced according to BrickLink sold averages. Stop by and have a look. Sebastian Stockholm Bricks By the way, here is a link to the store... http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=SebaOebi
  11. Mods please move this for me if I have posted in the wrong section. I have sold a few Lego sets over the year on Ebay but this is the first time I have been worried about the outcome of the auction. I listed the Minecraft set 6 days ago and people have goon crazy. I realised this is currently a high demand set, but it has gotten ridiculous. Over 40 watchers and bids beyond $160! I think it must be parents buying for gifts or something. Either way I do not believe that is a fair price. The set is a tiny little cube full of tiny little pieces. I personally wouldn't pay over $40 for it. I think buyers must not have seen it in person and are expecting something much more substantial for that amount. So what is the buyer going to think when the tiny little package arrives in the mail? Im worried they will leave negative feedback. So has anyone here sold one of these before? And do you think it is ethical to sell an in production set for over 3 times RRP?
  12. I have a very large pile/box of Bionicle pieces. All the technic and other usefull things are filtered out, so it's "pure" Bionicle. Now; I'm in doubt; should I sell this as parts on Bricklink, or should I sell this on Marktplaats.nl (a Dutch version of ebay, works the same). The positive about Bricklink; I always wanted to know how it is to have a Bricklink store; this would be a good opportunity. I think get a bit more money than option 2 (if I sell everything, but that's not very likely to happen) The positive about selling all at once; Everything is gone I get my profit immediately Also, will this sell on Bricklink? Is there still an active Bionicle community? And what about the other bricklink stores, they have all Bionicle in big quantities, but my advantage is a big range of parts, instead of large quantities? So, what should I do? Any tips or advice?
