So I'm working on a LDD build based on Number 2's office from The Prisoner. The various minifigs and props I've built and have come out great, and I've gotten started on the room itself. I don't have a tremendous amount of experience building... er... buildings (as opposed to vehicles and props, etc), but building the walls of the room went alright until I got to the slopey bits at the bases of the walls/edge of the floor. As you can see, the current arrangement I've got for the slopey bits--4x8 plates flanked by 8x3 wedge tiles tilted "26.7" (I don't know if that's degrees or some other unit of measurement, but it's the number displayed in LDD's hinge tool)--doesn't fit at all, and trial and error hasn't been going great, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure that out. I have any specific requirements for how steep the slopey bits should be or how much room should be left for the flat part of the floor, but I want the edges of the wedges to be flush with one another so the bottom edges create a circle for the floor, and I'd prefer the slope be at an obtuse angle. There's probably math involved, but I'm at a loss as to the specifics. I don't math good. There are twelve wall pieces, each with a footprint of 1x12, and the hinges between them are rotated 30 units (again, according to LDD's hinge tool). By a sheer stroke of luck, this turned out to be exactly the right size, so I'd like to not mess with that part too much (I'm probably gonna redesign the purple bits so they have the correct number of black lines later on, and to add a door and some sort of mounting arrangement for a viewscreen, though those things won't require and changes their dimensions). The floor will probably be much easier, since there's only one axis of rotation and I already know what the angle is going to be for that, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Nuclear Building is a round modular building whose shape resembles a mushroom cloud. Model characteristics: Building comprises 3 stories and has a height of 40 bricks. Fits into 32 x 32 modular standard and can be put near any other modular building not taller than 28 bricks. Building is equipped with a functional elevator. Model consists of over 4100 parts. Hi, i am trying to find a way to build a realistic redwood tree. But i find no way to build a realistic trunk, maybe someone has an advice? it should be round i found some pics in the net but i dont think they build it on the LDD is there someone who knows some tricks or a building instruction? please help me!

Here's my build for the third Gatehouse Phase, it is an 'old' build, in that I built it late last year, but I thought it was worth saving it to use as the final gatehouse phase, as I'm really proud of it. This is my first Castle model entirely based off of a real castle: Bodiam Castle in England. I built only the front wall, and it isn’t scaled perfectly, but I think it’s close enough to be quite recognizeable. Also I changed the bridge layout, because of space limitations. See a picture of the real Bodiam castle here: Link There’s no interior this time, though the portcullis and main doors are functional. Fun fact(s): this build weighed over 17 pounds, and used more bley tiles than any of my previous MOCs. Ever wish to own a LEGO grand carousel (10196) but be disappointed by the appetite spoiling price? Here comes an alternative. If you don't mind using paper instead of the original canvas and running the carousel without the authentic music brick, this set shall be good enough. You may be astonished to learn that this set cost me not more than US$500. I have ordered parts from about 8 bricklink stores. In a lax sense I shall call this set a MOC. I have altered the original set. Its outline looks rather the same as 10196 but you may find a lot of changes when you look into the details. This helps to save my cost. Enjoy. Wanted: single stud round plate - transparent blue or white

Hi, for a MOC I am in need of a larger bulk of transparent blue and/or white round plates with single studs. I thought it wouldn't hurt to go here and ask if someone would provide me with several thousands of those for a reasonable price. Mainly, I guess I need about 5k in transparent blue and perhaps a few hundred in transparent white. They would need to be sent to Germany, so I guess we need to think about customs as well. So, who is capable and willing to provide me such parts? Just shoot me a PM.
