  1. A glimpse of the future, once King Fernando has returned: Let's bathe again.... ... like we bathed last summer. Come on, let's bathe again, like we did last year. Do you remember when things were really hummin'? Come on let's bathe again, bathin' time is here! Challenge entry for King Fernando!
  2. "Peregrin Took, my lad, there is a task now to be done. Another opportunity for one of the Shire-folk to prove their great worth. You must not fail me." Alright, so this will probably be the last time I post any of my old MOCs here, but since I still consider this to be my best ever, I want to show it here. Since it's not only one of the best scenes in Return of the King, but also in the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy, I really wanted to build it, the Lighting of the Beacons. The project started during the summer of 2017 and finished in October. The rockwork is simple straight up and down with SNOT, and that's something I would have liked to changed now, but back then it was only the 2nd time I had done SNOT rockwork. Other than that I still absolutely love the tower, the bridge and the house integrated into the mountain. I hope you like it! Go check out my Flickr for more LOTR and castle MOCs, norlego
  3. This vignette depicts the stand-off between Gandalf and the Witch-King at the gates of Minas Tirith. It's one of my favourite moments from the book, and I've tried to incorporate all of the details into the vig as best I could. I always end up taking an excessive number of photos, so you can see more below (along with the accompanying text from The Return of the King): ... And a few more pictures can be found here Enjoy! Comments and criticism are much appreciated!
  4. For Round 3 of the 2014-15 Middle Earth LEGO Olympics on MOCpages. My category was Pippin, so this is my interpretation of the scene in Return of the King when Pippin looks into the Palantír while in Edoras. I wanted to capture the emotion of the scene, rather than just recreating it. He feels trapped the Eye, consumed in darkness. And in the distance, he can see the Tree of Gondor burning, signifying the fall of the Minas Tirith.

    Edge of Night

My entry to Round 1 of the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics over on MOCpages. The category is to take a song from the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit movies, my choice being "Edge of Night," performed by Billy Boyd (Pippin) in Return of the King, and interpret it into a build. :)
  6. This is my 5th entry to the Colossal Castle Contest - Category: Castle Siege This is a scene from the Lord of the Rings. The armies of Mordor are attacking the city of Minas Tirith. They are using the battering ram named Grond to break through the main gate. It is shaped like a wolf's head and enchanted with black magic. I hope you enjoy, thanks for C&C
  7. This is my entry to the "The Age of Men" catgory. I always wanted to build the white tree, and as it is a great metaphor for Gondor growing to old strength again, I have chossen this for the category. When Aragorn became king after the war, he planted a sapling of the white tree on the court of the fountain. The years gone by and as Aragorn's children were growing, the tree also rised up to the sky, to show that Gondor was wealthy and strong again. Thanks for hosting this great contest, I love everything from Middleearth. And good luck to the other contestants !

    [MOC] Into Mordor

Here's my newest creation, depicting the scene from ROTK where Frodo and Sam, disguised as orcs, are approached by a group of orcs and their linebreaker... "After Samwise Gamgee rescues Frodo from Cirith Ungol, they travel further into the land of Mordor, disguised as orcs. As they keep walking on and on, weary and tiresome, they find that up ahead a group of orcs is passing through, slowly moving towards them. As they keep calm and quiet, hoping not to be seen, they are approached by an orc linebreaker who sees them as little orcs and pulls them into the group to march among them..." ___________________________________________________________ You can find it on both Flickr and MOCpages, as well. C&C is welcome as always.
  9. After reaching Round 4 of mocpages MELO (may you remember my "last march of treebeard") my new category was "Mount Doom". You probably saw the fantastic entry of my opponent matthew oh. The judges already made their decision and gave me the privilege of marching in round 5, the semi finals. It was a very tough round against matthew and I want to pay tribute to his great entries. But now enjoy the pics: Thank you for looking!
