  2. NEW Models will appear in replies later in this thread Models in this thread: RAZOR CREST RIOT MAR'S STARFIGHTER NEW REPUBLIC PRISON SHIP OUTLAND TIE FIGHTER IMPERIAL DROPSHIP JUGGERNAUGHT TREXLER MARAUDER COBB VANTH'S SPEEDER 546-CLASS CRUISER (ARQUITENS) RAZOR CREST Hello everybody I thought I would take a short break from building stuff from the animated series and build something “real”. Also what better way to celebrate the launch of the first live action Star Wars TV series than by building something out of LEGO?! Unfortunately being in the UK I might have to wait to actually watch it. ☹ Anyway I present my MINI version of the Mando’s starship ‘The Razor Crest’. And I must say I am really pleased with how this little model turned out. I am especially pleased with how the engines have turned out. At first I was not sure how to attach them and keep them at the right level but in the end I settled on the minifigure neck brackets. The engines themselves are built around a 1x1 brick with studs on the sides and the two ends of the engines are connected with a 4L Bar. I also think those grey ingot pieces give the shape perfectly. The ship also goes from 1 stud wide to 2 and back again so I could use those new triangle tiles for the rear ramp section. I have also made the usual ‘Planets’ style display with the new Mandalorian minifigure. I could go on but I will let the model speak for itself. Let me know what you think. Jon PS. Is it just me or does this ship remind anyone else of the ‘Serenity’ from Firefly?

    [MOC] Midi-Scale Razor Crest

"I like your ship. She's a classic. Razor Crest, am I right?" My Midi-Scale collection keeps expanding with more than a classic piece of spaceship, the legendary Razor Crest from The Mandalorian. Made of 1,230 pieces, 30cm long, this baby ST-70 Gunship has a total of... zero stud across its entire surface, making it a true 100% SNOT build. At such a size, replicating all the complex angles and features of the original model required advanced SNOT techniques. I really wanted to push the limits of what could be done at such a small scale. Capturing the tapered body also required making a very compact 2 stud wide structure that could still hold everything together securely. The ship has two display modes, "in-flight" with its canted stand, and "landed" with easy-to-install landing gear. Hope you like it! ► Instructions for the Razor Crest are available at BrickVault. Micro Star Wars (1:250)

Hi all. I haven't added much to my 1:250 fleet of Star Wars fighters, gunships, freighters and one corvette (plus a couple of mini scenes) this year but I have been working on my photography. I've really enjoyed seeing the groups of ships grow and comparing the sizes of the finished products, Slave 1 and the Rogue Shadow turned out surprisingly big, but the biggest surprise was how huge a Blockade Runner is! In case anyone's interested, instructions for all of them are on Rebrickable... https://rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs/ And here's another with almost all the ships arranged together, which took far, far longer than I thought it would!

    [MOC] 75292 C-model Havoc Marauder

This is an alternative build using The Mandalorian Razor Crest set 75292. For this model You can build the Havoc marauder from the tv series Bad Batch. Instructions at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-80074/A_Great_Builder/bad-batchs-havoc-marauder-75292-c-model/#details

    [MOC] 75292 B-model "Slave 1"

This is an alternative build of the Lego Set 75292 Razor Crest from The Mandalorean Show. For instructions visit my Rebricable Profile: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-69329/A_Great_Builder/slave-1-75292-b-model/#details The B-Model is also the iconic Slave 1. The ship used by Boba Fett. This Slave 1 version is inspired by the one used at the end of The Mandalorean season 2. You can see the detail in the ramp as it is a little different from the one used in The Empire Strikes Back. The cabin fits a minifigure and I included instructions to build a display. No additional parts are required; just the ones included in the set.
  7. I think it’s time for a new thread were we can show und discuss Mods for the Razor Crest. Lego has done a good job. But there are some areas that could be done better with a few more parts. - Removed the spring loaded shooters - Shortened the big canons - Changed the color of a lot of plates and tiles (no red or white bricks anymore) - Closed the roof under the escape pod - Closed the section under the tail with a 8x4 Plate in LBG - Changed the middle section of the nose with a Flat Tile 4x1, a Flat Tile 1X1, 1/2 Circle and four Plate 1X2 W. 1 Knob - Of course the two lights are now in red - many more small changes The next step is the interior. I think the seats should be in dark red. Maybe we can add more details here. On reddit I found the idea with the gun locker. https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/ina9fq/razor_crest_mod_spring_loaded_missile_holder_gun/ Here is my Razor Crest. I would like to see more Mods from the community. TRC_1, on Flickr TRC_2, on Flickr TRC_3, on Flickr TRC_4, on Flickr TRC_5, on Flickr
  8. Hi everyone! This is a series of scenes based on the popular Disney+ series "The Mandalorian" which I built for Bricks LA 2021, a free virtual AFOL convention that is happening this weekend. First up, a vignette of the mandalorian armorer taking on a squad of stormtroopers inside her workshop with nothing but the tools of her trade as seen in "Chapter 8: Redemption". This Chapter is my favorite as it is filled with badass moments like this. There is a Mandalorian crest above the doorway, a table with forged helmets and jetpacks to the right, and the armorer's toolbox to the left. From the cold open of the same chapter, this vignette depicts IG-11 showing up to rescue the Child from the hapless scout troopers that kidnapped him. Nearby, you can see the transmitter that the troopers had used for target practice earlier. Next, we have Cobb Vanth riding his speeder made out of a podracer engine through the deserts of Tatooine from Chapter 9: The Marshal. There is a hook for storing Boba Fett's helmet behind his seat. This MOC will make a nice addition to the Trouble on Tatooine set coming out this year. Based on Chapter 12: The Siege, this vignette shows Cara Dune, Greef Karga, and the mythrol escaping the Nevarro Imperial base with a stolen Trexler Marauder and being chased by speederbikes and TIE Fighters through a canyon. The Mando shows up in his Razor Crest to shoot down the TIEs to save them. That's it for now. I still have a few ideas for vignettes, so keep an eye on this thread as I may add more. Let me know what you think of these and if there are any particular scenes you'd like to see. May the way be with you.

    Razor crest 1:125 scale

This is my final build of 2020. The razor crest from the mandalorian in minifig trophy scale. It has opening rear and front doors as well as FULLY RETRACTING LANDING GEAR. Really proud of that. The nose angles were inspired by jaeracs awesome model. Its pretty solid as long as you dont squeeze the side panels too hard. I plan on funishing the interior when I make the instructions. More pics here: Old model is on the left

    [MOC] Blacktron LASER THRUST

On Flickr a little bird (...or panda) whispered to my ear that the people on Eurobricks would really like my stuff so here I am! This is my Blacktron Razor Crest. It goes by Laser Thrust and features no original Star Wars pieces so it can be on Lego Ideas. If you like my ship, you could go to Ideas and support it, that would be nice!!! I really have shrunken the pics as far as I could but yeah, have a look at flickr.com/photos/ygreklego - there you'll find more!!
  11. A long, long time ago I started working on a micro scale Millennium Falcon. To begin with all I wanted to do was add detail to the Microfighter but I kept tinkering and before I knew it I had a growing collection of micro Star Wars freighters and fighters, and here they are! Instructions for all these little builds are on my Rebrickable page. Since this all started with that Falcon Microfighter the cockpit piece (a light blueish-grey 2x2 truncated cone) became my yardstick for scale. Luckily trans-black 1x1 slope pieces work as fighter cockpits at the same scale so all the ships are, and will continue to be, as close to scale with each other as I can manage, at least based on these pieces and whatever reference images I can gather from Google. My Blockade Runner (April 2021) is the last ship on my micro Star Wars to-do list, although it’s hardly micro! The size and weight were a new challenge for me, I’ve never had to worry about a moc falling apart under its own weight before, but I enjoyed the challenge and managed to make it pretty easy to pick strong. I’ve put together instructions for the Tantive IV as well as the Liberator from Star Wars Rebels, which I couldn’t resist building for myself. Rather than doing new posts for each new ship I’ll edit the very long post below. All the instructions are on my Rebrickable page and there are photos and Studio renders some photos of the ships in this post, plus a few more on Flickr and Instagram. Thanks for looking!

    Micro Razor Crest

I decided to give a try to build my own version of the Razor Crest during the quarantine, but using my own bricks. Due to limited availability it had to be a micro version, but I'm happy how it turned out. I tried to incorporate some play features as well (doors open, kind of landing gear, "interior" or at least hollow space) and keep it as smooth as possible. I'm proud of the sloped cabin, the most difficult part by far. I hope you liked it. Regards, PaulPrime
  13. "This is the way." This is my MOC of the Razor Crest from The Mandalorian. Features opening cockpit, opening side and rear doors.
