[ESL - Minichallenge] Developments at the Small Palace of Trador

Small Palace of Trador Excitement was taking place on the streets of Trador. It received the Town status and rumours spreaded around that today, the 30th November 616 AE, the mayor will be appointed by Lord Maximilian Damaximus. Inside the newly build Small Palace, the Town Council gathered, discussing the latest events. At the first floor of the Small Palace, Maximilian and Margot took residence for the time being... Margot: So it is official now, my father lost his power... Maximilian: Yes my dear, but he still will have a function in the Continental Council. And at least, he still is our king. Margot: Do you think there will be a point in the future where the republicans will remove the crown from our family? Maximilian: not as long as there are royalists and not at all as long as I live. When I received the charter for MAESTRO, I promised your father to make sure of the continuity of the Eslandolan Crown. Margot: I hope the Fontonajo family, who is without any doubt the richest family in these new lands, will keep the things as they are now agreed upon. Maximilian: Roman is a very wise man and he has connections in every corner of the New World, but only in the New World. Your dynasty still has a lot of support in the Old World. Margot: So I am a princess in the Old World, but not anymore in Nova Terelli? Maximilian: Even in Nova Terelli, you will be treated as a Princess by most people. There still are royalists there. As far as I know, Roman hasn't conquered the Royal Fortress of Nova Terelli where your good friend the Viceroy has his residence. Margot smiles Maximilian: As long as Stedor and Trador stand, your father will be King here. Without powers ofcourse, but still... Margot: And Elysabethtown? Maximilian: He will be treated with respect. But I would not count Lady Elysabeth as a true royalist. Luckily her husband, Lord Tomvaximus, is loyal to us... Talking about Lord Tomvaximus, I hear he has arrived downstairs. My beautifull princess, I fear I will have to leave you for some hours. When leaving the room, Maximilian quickly looked around. The armour next to the balcony was a beautifull gift he received from the befriended Viking Tribe. The Royal Princess Guards he received from his father-in-law could have been puppets as well, so fiercly they were standing for hours without moving a finger. At the Council Room, Maximilian Damaximus was waiting for a few Council members to arrive... In the meantime, a musician was playing the Orchan and a service maid was looking for beverage. A beautifull shining armour received from MAESTRO Corrington was decorating the room. A few hours later, Lord Maximilian Damaximus left the Small Palace. at the square in front of the palace, he declared Sir Yohannes Ethiximus to be mayor of Trador. Yohannes made fame in Stedor as brilliant politicus. The perfect guy to be the right hand of Maximilian at Trador. And one more romantic picture with Lord Maximilian Damaximus and Princess Margot of Eslandola and those cool Royal Princess Guards. ------ Thanks for watching! C&C welcome! March 616 "Hoooray!!" Bells are ringing and the citizens of Stedor are running towards the quays. Cheering and chanting for the proof of the power of Stedor. A 55-gun 3rd rate ship of the line. At this moment the most powerfull ship ever seen in Halos and the first ship that will be granted a class 5+ classification! Sure there will follow other ships, probably even bigger, but this vessel is the first and will become legendary for ever. The "Margot", named after the fiancee of Governor Maximilian Damaximus and treasured like the girl herself. Admiral Bostoximus will command the ship. A bright and gloryful future is laying ahead! Side with open gunports: Side with closed gunports: Admiral Bostoximus: General Whisximus: Governor Damaximus & Princess Margot (and also King Fernando Augusto VII) Some stuff can be removed easily to have access to the cabins: Captain's Cabin: Even a whole part of the side can be removed: Looks like someone is already partying too hard ------------------ Aftermath ---------------------------- Yes, I did it!!!! 4 months work in it. The last 2 days were nothing but rigging for me... But I am soooooo happy with the result (my fiancee Margot after whom I named the vessel as well). So proud! Thanks a lot to Captain Green Hair and Sebeus I for the help and feedback! Comments & criticism welcome! Praise is ofcourse welcome! And to all (potential) enemies of Eslandola: why don't you give your ships already now? It would be a shame to see them lost in a battle due the difference in gun strenght (she should have a 13 gun rating based on the 55 guns she actually can carry). -
Previous part: A special meeting by TitusV In one of the many great dinner rooms of the Royal Palace in Terelli, a feast was going on... Due to the perfect relations of Lord Maximilian Damaximus's father with the King, Maximilian and Lord Matteus Tomvaximus were invited to sit in front of King Fernando-Augusto VII. The food was delicious. Chicken and fish with the best sauces and apples supplied by Felipe de la Manzana. "So Maximilian, how does it feel to return to my palace?" King Fernando-Augusto said. "So many memories I have here, mylord. All those beautifull moments I spent here playing with your childeren." Maximilian replied "Hahaha, especially with my daughter Margot you came along very well..." The king laughed. Maximilian started thinking about Princess Margot. She was the reason why he went together with his father all the way down to Terelli as kid. "Yes indeed mylord. I am building a big warship now, it will be the queen of the sees and she will be named 'Margot', after your beautifull daughter" The King smiled. "I heard it already... Well, she is here at the palace... MARGOOOOOOOTTT!!" A few moments later, Margot entered the room Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn was the first word that came across Maximilian's mind ... She even get more stunning than he could remember her. Their eyes crossed eachother for ages. With a subtle smile, she nodded her head before turning to her father. "You called me father?" "Please sit down at our table. You remember young Maximilian, don't you? He is now the Lord of Stedor after his father died." the King replied "I am deeply sorry for your loss, mylord" she said to Maxilian. Before Maximilian could answer, the King asked him suddenly "so you wanted to ask me a favor, Maximilian?" A big silence followed. Lord Matteus looked at his best buddy. Finally he would ask the King the permission to set up a Trade Company. Stedor had all the requirements necessary,.. "I want to marry your daughter" Maximilian said Now a bigger silence followed... Matteus tried to understand the situation... Did Maximilian just screwed the chance to set up MAESTRO for a girl??? Now it will take some more time before everything will be realised... Now they have to build another headquarters and vessels. Luckily their warehouse in Terelli is almost ready for use... "Well, your request surprised me a bit, but then again it would be great opportunity for us both. What do you think Margot?" She blushed, "I would be honoured" she said Everyone on the table cheered: a wedding is coming up!!!! During the rest of the dinner, Lord Maximilian Damaximus and Princess Margot shared memories. Meanwhile Lord Matteus talked again to Lady Elysabeth of Drondil. "Now I think about it, there will be the opening of our warehouse in Terelli soon.
