Hey there! My girlfriend hat a wonderful idea for a friends Wedding: Make a cake out of cake-slices made out of cardboard. Then put some homemade and some bought presents in it, reserve the other half for money presents. And to get a nice finish, you need a decoration on top of that cardboard-wedding-cake for sure, that's where I came into play (and for that one cake-slice with the angry Scotsman, too). As groom and bride are dedicated to medieval reenactment, Game of Thrones and Black / Goth Metal, the setting was quite clear. Well, see for yourself how this worked out:
I was trying to look for this topic but was unable to find it anywhere, however if it already exists feel free to let me know so i can close it down. My question to you all is what were you treated too for Christmas? I always enjoy hearing peoples Christmas stories and the Lego they received and/or built. I should probably kick this off by saying that I bought myself 2 modulars whilst my partner bought me Jabba's palace and the three smallest Force Awakens Star Wars sets. It was a great day! So what are your stories for this year?
The most famous jewelled eggs are the Fabergé eggs made by Peter Carl Fabergé between 1885 and 1917 for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II. The Tsars presented the eggs as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers. I always liked jewelled eggs, but unfortunately they are just unaffordable (well, the real ones at least...). I just had to make a LEGO version! Like many jewelled eggs, it has a theme and contains a surprise inside: it’s a wedding egg! This egg is dedicated to my dear brother and his wife whom recently got married! Hurray! Do you have something to celebrate as well? Or do you want to give something pretty to your best friend or beloved? (or treat yourself) ... make sure to support this project on LEGO Ideas to turn it into an official LEGO set!
