  1. Located in the main sanctuary dedicated to Poseidon, on the northern coast of Oleon mainland, this little chapel is the place where the Priests of the Tides pronounce their vows. This little temple hangs on the shore, only a few meters far from the Ocean. Therefore, many choose the place to meditate in silence, trying to find their answers in the voice of the Lord of the Seas. In the Sanctuary, as well as in most the places sacred to Poseidon, a military order ensures safety of priests and pilgrims. It is mostly a ceremonial duty, but the Knights of the Order of the Trident should not be faced lightheartedly in a real fight! —————— As I intended to license this little shrine as a small art and culture in Mainland Oleon, the rules required me to create a separate post. I used the same build in the joint AMRCA I started with @Ross Fisher, @Khorneand @Jeff of Clubs, that you can find here.

    [MOC] Invoke the Gods

Hello guys, this is my latest moc for a greek contest (fantasy - epic theme). Tell me your opinion and thoughts about it! This is my first big Moc, so.. be gentle! Tnk you and enjoy it! __________________________________________________________________________________ “Invoke the gods” (ask the help of the gods) “Χρῲ τοις Θεοίς..” (Νa επικaλείσaι τους θεούς.) Solon (Greek: Σόλων; c. 638 – c. 558 BC) In Greek mythology, Poseidon is the god of the land and the sea, rivers, sources and drinking water .. With his trident could both create rough seas and calm waters.. His symbols were the trident, fish and occasionally the horse or the bull.. According to legend.. the Poseidon seduced Medusa in the temple of Athena.. the goddess was so furious with it.. so she transformed Medusa into monster.. The ugliness was such.. that whoever looked at her face.. turned into stone .. Medusa wanted to revenge Poseidon now.. so she kills the priestesses and the soldiers who guard the temple .. Their only hope now is to seek the help of the gods.. But to be heard by the gods, they need a sacrifice.. Hermes.. the messenger of the Gods, is there and waiting to hear the invocation to the gods and to carry the message ..
  3. Before setting out on his travel to the colonies, Gideon Saulse de Bothnia does what every sensible Oleander should do before traveling the seas which is to seek the blessing of Poseidon over his enterprise. An offering of different kinds of food must surely please the Ruler of the Seas!
  4. Captain Braunsfeld

MOC: HMS Poseidon 2.0 (probably a Galleon)

164A Ahoy, people have been asking my: Why do you post pirate houses, harbours and comics? Where are the ships? Well, here is one, it is an update: Captain Braunsfeld proudly presents: The HMS Poseidon (2.0.). And it is probably a galleon. Why am I saying this? Well, usually when I try to classify one of my ships in this forum, people go and say, well, Captain, it is all very nice but for a real paddle wheel steamer you need to be more accurate on the Mississippi underneath, etc. And then I get worried. Is my model really a ship of the line 3rd rate or rather a full rigged brig? Honestly, I don't know about this stuff very well. I build lego models to play with... The (currently small) crew consists of decent, trustworthy men: to handle the custom cannons/carronades. And the crew is, of course, fearlesss: And finally, the overall approach is modular. This is where the captain returns to his bottles of rum: err, I mean, where he heroically plans for the next battle. Some storage room is found practically everywhere: and the capstan is working!!!! More storage room: You can also remove the floor of the captain's cabin to store even more stuff: Ok, so here she goes - the HMS Poseidon (2.0) Enjoy the summer!
