  1. Portuguese Diesel Nez Cassé From the 80's 1:45 scale Circa 2000 parts Powered by 2 Powerfunctions train Motors and Buwizz Custom Lights Custom Magnet Couplers from HA Bricks 49cm long 1kg The CP1906(from the 1900 series) is a shorter cousin of the CC72000. Initially, they were exclusively used for cargo service by CP Comboios de Portugal. Nowadays, they also serve in Medway. Please do not mistake this for its older electric cousin, the CP2600 With his Yellow Medway Version
  2. SOMAFEL is today a leading company in the construction of railway tracks and overhead lines in Portugal. This locomotive is used to maneuver some Rail work materials. It used to belong to CP Comboios de Portugal. It had several different liveries, this one is the current one. This was a commissioned job for a Somafel employee, unlike my other 1400 English Electric Series, this one is not motorized, It was requested as an exhibition model only, however, it is ready to be motorized, I did leave the room, for wires and battery.
  3. "MiraDouro" is composed of the CP 1400 series diesel locomotive and Schindler Tourist carriages. This is my favorite consist nowadays, actually, there are several colors and variations, and it's hard to find the exact same configuration the next day. The Schindler carriages - produced in the 1940s by the Swiss manufacturer Schindler and put into service on the national railway network between 1949 and 1977 - have recently been restored and their panoramic windows can be opened during the journey. It runs daily between Oporto São Bento/Campanhã and Pocinho and back. About the model - Circa 10000parts - 5KGs - 2,50meters long - motorized by 2 PF motors + Buwizz - front and tail lights - full interior - 8 months of working
  4. I made this little thing with +/- 10000 pieces, 6x2 48x48 base plates and it's modular. Campolide station in the 80s, I used as a reference base 2 photos only. It took me about 3 weeks to do it.

    Hello from Portugal

Hello. My name is Paul and I am Portuguese. I have RC model-building experience, but I received a gift of a lego Mobile Crane MK II - 42009 and never build any tecknics lego. Wish me luck... :)
  11. Hello everyone. I finished the 42009 Mobile Crane Mk II. It is working perfectly. It was my first model in LEGO, not counting the smaller models in childhood. It was a good challenge for those who, like me, have very low vision, but I managed. I enjoy RC models, and I intend to just build other models that can be radio controlled. Now I am in doubt of what may be my next step. Build the Ultimate 42009, or forward to another challenging model? What will be the most appropriate? I appreciate your support. Paulos

    MOC: Rua Amarelo

Hi folks, My long running saga of a project has finally been finished. Inspired by a trip to Portugal this summer, Rua Amarelo is a corner street featuring a Pasteleria and a hat shop. The yellow corner building is perhaps more authentic in colour and I would of preferred to have made a tiled effect for the narrower building but could not source enough tiles from what I had at my disposal. Really would like TLG to bring back sand red in an assortment of pieces! No interior this time but I'm hoping to have something to see inside on my next MOC which is already planned. Anyway on with all 4 of the pics; You can view them at flickr if you so wish https://www.flickr.c...s/52656812@N04/ Comments welcome!
  13. Hello to all another replica of a Portuguese train , it is a suburban train passengers. Wide 7 , very long , each carriage has approximately 50 studs length. I tried to catch the most characteristic details , the cockpit has a lot of work , but I liked the result. unfortunately given the price of the windows and doors will not build bricks . this is also my farewell as builder trains will go on hiatus this " branch " indefinitely. The reason is that it is becoming too expensive to build train to my current financial capacity , another is lack of space at home to expose them , I have all trains boxed and only see the light of day when they go exhibitions . I've had 4 front pages and it gave me great motivation not to stop :) but at this point I have to slow down a bit , I will continue to build the smallest things , but I promise to always keep the same quality and style that always had . thank you all :) BIG Size image: http://farm8.staticf...733617dab_o.png
  14. This is a Portuguese DMU Replica the only exists one of this DMU and its use only for rent. [MOC] Presidential Train

hello my friends this is my recent creation made on LDD and render with Pov Ray its a 7wide train:) its another portuguese Replica, The "presidential Train" full size image: http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2860/12527833244_ba0c7ef1bf_o.png The project Presidential Tours - Tourist Travel Train in Historic Trains primarily aims at the conservation and restoration of the old Presidential Train - a special composition used by the Head of State and his Entourage between 1910 and 1970. In the year of the celebration of the Centenary of Tourism in Portugal, this emblematic train got back not only all its physical and functional capabilities, through a rigorous process of conservation and restoration, but also all its dignity as a patrimonial object of unique value. The key solution for a better understanding and interpretation of the Presidential Train was the full restoration of the six vehicles that comprides the Presidential Train, according to the look it would have on the 1970` s, wich is the last known image of the Presidential Train as such. In a unprecedent project in Portugal, the vehicles were recovered from the mechanical, technical and patrimonial point of view, in order to proceed with the reorganization of this special composition, according to its valences and historical-cultural values. Now its a long journey to make it in real bricks :)
  16. This train is a replica of the commuter train from Lisbon actually walk everyday them :) has two floors, two 9V motors, about 1 meter and 60 centimeters it took me about a year to build almost 4000 pieces these photos has no stickers yet, but I think its enough to compare to the original Hope you like it i know it should be 7wide, but i dont have enough bircks to do that modification for now :)
