    [MOC] Vintage Police Car

Since the upcoming Modular Police Station won't come with a car, I've decided to build one myself : It's inspired by 40's American Police cars, and I did my best to make it look like the official sets so it won't look out of place in a Modular Street. The doors can open, and the roof and rear windscreen can be easily removed to access the interior, where there's room for two minifigs. Ideally it would be a police officer and the terrible Donut Thief buf of course I don't have them yet, so I used the minifigs from 40409 Hot Rod instead. Speaking of which, here's a comparison shot between the two cars : Instructions for this model can be found on Rebrickable : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-59900/Leewan/vintage-police-car/ If you want to try different colour schemes, modify the model (to turn it into a civilian version for example), or simply see it under every possible angle, you can check the 3D model on Mecabricks : https://www.mecabricks.com/en/models/Jk2Ex0qPa9A PS : Oh, I almost forgot something, shame on me. I wanted to say a big thank you to @_shaddow_ for his help.

    [MOC] Vintage Police Car

Sharing my version of vintage police car for the modular police station. Took reference using the 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Police. As how most modular cars are designed, I keep to the rule that it sits 2 in front, and vehicle is 6 wide. The vintage car also has seat for 1 passenger at rear. 9. [Edit] List of annual Police Interceptors, now Emergency Vehicles 2011 see https://www.flickr.c...157628467098541 2012 see https://www.flickr.c...157629998167606 2013 see http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=80154 2014 this thread 2015 this thread 2016 this thread 2017 this thread 2018 this thread 2019 this thread [/edit] Hi all, a little late this year, but here it is, the Police Interceptor 2014: It was quite obvious that the Police Interceptor of the year 2014 would have to be an LCS vehicle. Furthermore, since the future town will be illuminated I was wondering if at least some of the vehicles can be lightenend, too - it would look quite awkward if cars without lights were cruising the town at night. It proved to be possible without any foreign parts - via a combination of 9 Volt and PowerFunctions stuff. Functions: self-steering front axle emergency lights (9 V) siren (9 V) headlights (PF) backlights (PF) 100% Lego. The car weighs over 200 grams (battery included) but is an excellent mover on the LCS. Credits: derjoe whose "brick & tile" car building style proved to be most appropriate when dealing with lighting Brucewaynelego-Toyshansolo who introduced me into the "9 Volt world". Rear: From below: Hopefully the PI 2014 will be the first of a series of illuminated "night" cars like ambulances, fire engines or stretch limos. Some more pics on my Flickr. Thanks for looking! In action on the LCS layout:

    [MOC] BRICK TOWN POLICE STATION

Hi everyone This my latest MOC and project for LEGO Ideas. My interpretation of a classic American style Police Station. Brick Town Police Station is a corner modular building built to the standard 32x32 footprint. The model is made up from 2826 pieces. The main focus of the model is the Police Station itself but I've also included doughnut store and a Police car. MINIFIGURES The model features 6 minifigures, including 4 Police officers, a criminal and the doughnut store worker. A Police dog is also included. LEVEL 1 - DOUGHNUT STORE AND POLICE STATION The ground level depicts a corner street scene. Various details include a bench, tree and water hydrant. A series of steps lead up to the main entrance of the police station which is set at a 45 degree angle to the rest of the building. The Police Station also features a garage with a barrier that can be raised and lowered to allow the Police car to drive through to the back of the building. Next door to the Police station is the doughnut store featuring bright red striped awning and a large doughnut sign on the roof. A narrow recess between the 2 buildings leads to a separate staff entrance in to the police station. On the ground level of the police station is the reception desk and waiting room. Behind the desk I've included a coffee machine and some equipment storage. There is also a door in this room that leads out to the back of the building where the police car can be parked. LEVEL 2 - OFFICES AND INTERROGATION ROOM A staircase on the ground level leads in to the Chief's office on the next floor. The office features the Chief's desk with a tiny typewriter and other details. Level 2 also features a staff office room with a water cooler and equipment storage. A window in this room overlooks the interview/interrogation room. LEVEL 3 - HOLDING CELLS The third level includes 2 prison holding cells. A door inside this room also gives the mini figs access on to the roof. POLICE CAR The police car is 6 studs wide but has space to fit 2 mini figs side by side in the front seats. THE FINISHED MODEL The image below shows this moc alongside my other modular buildings. Left to right - The Queen Bricktoria, Brick Square Post Office, Bricks & Blooms and The Convenience Store LEGO IDEAS I've added Brick Town Police Station to LEGO Ideas. If you like the model then I'd be massively grateful if you could please spare a few moments to check out the page on LEGO Ideas and give it your support. http://bit.ly/legomodularpolice Thanks for reading and I hope you like Brick Town Police Station, feel free to let me know what you think. If you'd like to see more, then head across to my Flickr page where I've uploaded many more pictures of the model.
  12. Hello! I would like to share with you my new work. GAZ "Tiger" (GAZ-233036 or SPM-2). It's russian 4x4, multipurpose, all-terrain infantry mobility vehicle manufactured by GAZ, first delivered to the Russian Army in 2006. Primarily used by the Russian Federation's armed forces. Specifications: Four-wheel drive Independent suspension Open all doors, hood and sunroof The steering wheel in the car is synchronized with the steering Row 6-cylinder engine 4 L Motors for Motion Servo motor for power steering M motor to winch drive Power and control implemented by BuWizz 1.0 Weight - 2.3 kg Length - 50 cm Width - 20 cm Height - 20 cm Description: The model is executed on a scale of 1:11. The project was started in the middle of 2016, but it can be considered completed only now. The model is based on the GAZ-233036 armored vehicle, GAZ Tiger or SPM-2 (special police machine), which can be found in the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular in the OMON. In the process of construction, the main question was how to force a model that weighs more than 2 kg to go and not crawl like the Lego trial trucks, and indeed most large models weighing more than 1,500 kg. To the aid came BuWizz, the power of which was enough to allow the Tiger to move with the speed of SUVs from the Lego of medium size, while overcoming small obstacles and not adding weight (hello to the big Lego battery packs). Each axis is driven by separate pairs of L motors with a gear ratio of 2.8 through the open differentials in front and rear. For the steering is responsible servo motor, running synchronously with the steering wheel in the cabin. In the front bumper there is a winch, powered by an M motor. All remote control is via BuWizz 1.0 In the cabin, the front instrument panel is worked out, there are two seats in the front and two benches in the passenger compartment. The color scheme is printed on self-adhesive paper More photos: Now I am modifying the model in the Lego Digital Designer. Maybe someone has something to like, what would be worth changing or adding to it? In my plans to make several modifications.
  13. This is my entry for the Winter Village contest. 'Police station with police car' A small police station with jail, car and policemen.
  14. Hi all, at the end of 2011 there was the first Police Interceptor, and there was a second one in 2012, which was derived from the Tumbler. Now I thought it might be a nice tradition to build one Police Interceptor each year. The PI 2013 is derived from the Chevy Impala, see http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=78902: It fits 2 cops (with caps) at the front and one suspect at the rear. At first I thought the new cop caps wouldn't fit, but then I modified the roof a little and now they fit, although the cops do not sit fully straight, but for me it's okay: Here you can see it in action. The street needs some traffic stuff, and I'd rather have brickbuilt motorbikes, but well ... Thanks for looking, c&c welcome as usual.
  15. I really didn't know what to do on a rainy weekend. So I started building race cars. I wanted to make cars as low as I can. 1. The bad This is a rally car. It is ready for two minifigs to sit inside. And with open doors... 2. The ugly A convertible single seater. Colors are horrible: green, yellow and grey. 3. The good A police car with red and blue lights on the windscreen. Also a single seater. And finally all three: The good, the bad and the ugly
