I didn't pick up the entire Disney CMF line, or even most of it, but I couldn't resist snagging the minifigures from two of my favorite Disney movies: ALICE IN WONDERLAND and PETER PAN. My goal for these mini-vignettes was twofold: (a) showcase both minifigures in scenes evocative of their respective films, and (b) for each minifigure pair, take up a footprint no larger than two CMF bases (that is, 4x6). Here's what I came up with: Strictly speaking, of course, Alice did not have her bottle and cookie when she met the Cheshire Cat, and Neverland's Skull Rock was a lot larger -- but of course, I wasn't going for literal representations here. :) If anyone else has done Disney vignettes at this small scale, I'd love to see them!

I've been meaning, since the Disney minifigures were first revealed, to make a few builds to go with them. Here is my first: The ticking crocodile. Never Smile At A Crocodile by Kodiak Sanders, on Flickr More details on my Flickr page. Let me know what you think!

Captain Hook by Rolli, on Flickr "Allow me? I am Captain James Bartholomew Hook, world's most famous crook - captain of the fine mighty Jolly Roger and its crew, honorable pirate, finder of many treasures and killer of the Croco... Okay, who am I kidding.." For some reason, Disney's Captain Hook was always a favorite of mine. Not really evil, clumsy and funny at times, having his own nemesis in the shape of a comical crocodile - and always being outwitted by Peter Pan. Or clumsy Mr. Smee. Long story short: I had to build him - in this iconic pose, including the crocodile. It was great fun and a challenge to build at this scale, especially with those limiting colors (I'm talking to you, magenta!). A pirate contest on the Norwegian forum Brikkelauget"]http://brikkelauget....o"]Brikkelauget provided me with the perfect opportunity so it had to be done :D Looking forward to hearing what you think and if you like Mr. Hook! LDD/MLCad 15C Hello pirate lovers! I would like to present you my latest MOC: Peter Pan and Captain Hook's Jolly Roger The set is based on the Disney's animated film. I tried to keep it as close to the original, which wasn't so easy because the ship itself doesn't get that much screen time. The design is mainly based on these two images: I think this could be a great new licensed pirate theme (there is a Peter Pan feature film coming out later this year - www.imdb.com/title/tt3332064/ and it looks right up TLG's alley :) ) If you like, it would mean the world to me if you could support it on: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/96285 Thanks!
