  1. Captain Nemo

    MOC: Batman vs Black Mask

Batman vs Black Mask Bullets fly as Batman attempts to take down the powerful drug kingpin Black Mask in his run down narcotics warehouse. This is the largest Batman creation I’ve made, and in addition to being packed full of details, it’s also the first time I’ve made a scene where Batman is after the Black Mask. It’s also my first creation that’s greatly inspired by the Arkham games, with the character choices stemming from the soon to be released Arkham Origins. The build itself features tons of details from twin conveyor belts moving drugs to six large windows. There’s also two wall mounted ventilation fans as well as two celling fans. There’s also three large support beams on the roof that hold up three large lights that Batman is running across (Dodging fire at the same time!). A small office is there too, as well as two gargoyles for the Dark Knight to perch on. Clean up in the narcotics aisle... This creation was actually first shown in an interview I had with Beyond the Brick. You can watch that interview .Inverted Takedown Enjoy ~Captain Nemo
  2. Hey guys , after waiting two months to get all the parts , everything I need for my Classic Arkham Batmobile has arrived . In my mind I’m still calling this a WIP , as there still remain some changes to be made , but they are really small and subtle , so I decided to post it as it is ( and maybe post a V1.1 later ) . As I’m sure you can imagine , one of these changes is changing the colour of the two “road signs” on the roof of the car to black . Unfortunately , these parts don’t come in black , so I’ll paint them ( I don’t love the idea anymore than you do , but I think the parts fit in perfectly and they look inaccurate being grey and brown ). I am also playing with the idea of adding stickers to give the model that extra bit of accuracy , specifically on the "6005" parts in front of the rear wheels . Finally , what’s a Batmobile without Batman ? I knew , from the moment I started building this that I had to get a custom Arkham series Batman minifig to go along with it . And when I tumbled upon onlinesailin’s Arkham City Batman, I was amazed by the astonishing level of detail, the amazing resemblance to the iconic suit, everything . Thanks “onlinesailin”, for the best minifigure out there , this moc wouldn't be the same without it . Now, I’m sure you came here to see a Batmobile, not read boring details, so here are some pictures . Now let me get that explosive gel ... I really hope you liked my build , please comment your opinion and/or constructive criticism . Thanks for viewing :)
  3. Hey guys , My first MOC when I came out of my late dark ages one and a half year ago was the Batmobile from the first two Arkham games ( well , technically it also cameos in "Origins" ) . It was ok for a first creation after years of absence I guess , but not that great . Some days ago I stumbled upon the LDD file , and I thought " Why not revisit it , make it great and actually build it with real bricks as well this time ". I'm posting this as a WIP because I've finished 80-85% of it but I'm kind of stuck and I need some opinions and suggestions . Here is what I have so far : The tooth piece is supposed to go between the 1x1 plate and 1x1 tile right behind the "tubes" , LDD won't let me put it there but I think I'll be able to squeeze it in there when I actually build it . The tubes / hoses will be flexed so that they're closer to each other and have the angle like the "real" model . As you can see ,the front part is complete , but the back , specifically behind the driver's seat is only a rough draft . So here comes the part where I need your help . I've created two versions of the back "afterburner" area as well as I need your opinion on which looks more accurate , and as many ideas and suggestions as possible for the part behind the driver's seat . Here is the second version of the back area . And , since 2D screenshots can never truly express the 3 dimensions , I'm attaching the LXF file . The one on the right with Batman next to it is what I've been showing so far , the one in the middle has the second version of the back area and the one on the left is the one on the right without the roof , whatever you see there is "complete" ( but of course can be changed if needed). Note : I know some parts don't exist in the colours I use , but I don't like to be limited by the colours TLG produces their parts in , so I'll probably paint them . Also , you may find some "silly " bits in the LXF file , like three 1x1 plates on top of each other instead of an 1x1 brick etc , obviously this won't be the case for the final model , just didn't pay attention to this kind of things and concentrated only in replicating the vehicle's look . Thanks for viewing and please leave a comment of your opinions/ suggestions , it will help a lot .
  4. The Warehouse section of the Sionis Steel Mill from the video game "Batman: Arkham Origins" This was my first time using lettering in Lego and i think it turned out great!
  5. Hugo Strange: Wake up Mr. Wayne, we have much to discuss. Bruce Wayne. Strange! You won't get away with this! Hugo Strange: I already have. Bruce Wayne: Shut Arkham City down, its out of control. Hugo Strange: Shut it down? By the end of tonight i will be a hero, just like you BATMAN! I feel i should thank you, capturing Bruce Wayne is so much easier then Batman. And now that we have you Protocol Ten is ready to begin. It will be my legacy, a monument to your failure and if you try and stop me, i guarantee everyone will know you secret. TYGER Guard: Welcome to Arkham City, Wayne! Inmate: What are you going here, Wayne? Inmate: Did you kill your butler? Inmate: Your going to die in here, rich boy! Inmate: Your going to be my bitch Wayne! Inmate: Your mine! TYGER Guard: Back on the ground! What are you waiting for, Wayne? Line A, Move! Black Mask: No one arrests Black Mask. No one! TYGER Guard: Line A, prisoner! TYGER Guard: Wayne! You're in line A! Move it, rich boy! TYGER Guard: You two get out of the way! Wayne! Get your megablocks up here! Floyd Lawton: Bruce Wayne? you're on my list. Bang. Hahaha TYGER Guard: Move up, prisoner! Hugo Strange: Lower your weapons. Mr. Wayne will not be any trouble. Will you, Mr. Wayne? The cuffs can stay on. We don't need to make things too easy, do we? TYGER Guard: Close the doors. Prepare for insertion! Based off the opening from the video game "Batman: Arkham City" I really enjoyed this build but it was a pain to photograph. I also added some more Arkham City items in the Moc too, try and guess what they are. I would of liked to add a lot of prisoners but i only had one orange torso and the inmate one from the Arkham Asylum set, so that sorta takes away from it.
  6. Captain Nemo

    MOC: Batman vs Firefly

Batman vs Firefly The Dark Knight battles the dangerous flying pyromaniac, Firefly, on the burning wreckage of Gotham's Pioneer’s bridge. Inspired by Arkham Origins. Enjoy! ~Captain Nemo
  7. Here are the 8 playable characters from the Batman: Arkham Origins Online mode. I am okay with how this turned out. To start out I would like to talk about the cons with these figures. I am not to happy with my Joker side (Including the Joker) I would of have used the Joker goon face if Myer would let me use gift cards online! The Bane is meh and I think that covers the bad figures. A pro would defiantly have to be the drones! Oh dear I cannot tell you how much I hate those things in the game. My favourite would have to be the one on the left (Bane's one) and the Joker one is another meh. The Bane Merc to the left of him turned out pretty good as well (Its based off the last picture in the loading screen if you play on Banes side) I would have used the Darth Malgus head but I traded it. Batman is a figure from TLG and I modified the TLG Robin figure for this version of him. I think these actually turned out okay. I will defiantly do some more Arkham Game stuff in the future!
  8. Batman: Arkham Origins, Deathstroke The Dark Knight battles the deadly assassin Deathstroke in this Arkham Origins inspired creation. Featuring a custom designed and printed Deathstroke minifigure by Christo. --- --- Looks like you got my invitation. It's just you and me. COME ON! Enjoy ~Nemo
