  1. Map Name: StudicaGrid: E8 New Brickika had little experience fighting in frozen conditions so they opted to extract allied teams and small equipment with their mobile helicopters. GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr All was quiet for the two soldiers and maintenance guys waiting at the helipad. GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr The small pad had a reasonable amount of ammunition supplies and a flood light for the harsh mountain terrain. GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr Limited building space meant this facility was constructed next to a small stream GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr After many hours, the Filace troops arrived aboard the helicopter. GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr "A good trip, I hope?" the rather frozen New Brickian asked No reply "snipers, saying nothing as usual..." the soldier murmured under his breath. GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr The maintenance guy continued the back-braking work of clearing the snow. A successful extraction, the Filace troops would then walk down-stream to the allied base. ____ More shots; GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr GBW Campaign 5 - Riverside Extraction Team by Tom Gray, on Flickr ____ Not that much going on but I focused on the overall look of the build and the fact I'm on a tight university schedule. I'm happy with the way it turned out, C&C welcome!
  2. Map Name: Studica Grid: E5 Size: 48x48 Due to great mobility, the New Brickika armed forced quickly advanced to enemy positions. A coordinated effort with Erotema took down an enemy fighter jet which was crashed inside the military facility. Sadly, it looked like the pilot could not eject in time. The base had a railway line in front of the gate but being so remote, the place was clearly being covered in sand due to lack of care taking. Great Brick War Campaign 3 by Tom Gray, on Flickr The commander insisted that he should lead from the front. One of our men was already picked off by a sniper in the tower. Great Brick War Campaign 3 by Tom Gray, on Flickr Great Brick War Campaign 3 by Tom Gray, on Flickr Again, Erotema came to our aid as a Humvee rolled up to the gate. I managed to shoot the last guard and an Erotema soldier did some counter-sniping. Great Brick War Campaign 3 by Tom Gray, on Flickr One of their medics also came to the aid of our wounded commander, though he still insisted a real leader should take the front of a charge! A small victory perhaps, but these small gains can ensure the overall defeat of our foes!
  3. Map Name: Studica Grid: D2 Weather and organisation led to New Brickika troops being somewhat late to the continent of Studica. However, it's better late than never, as they say. Arriving in Studica by Tom Gray, on Flickr Arriving in Studica by Tom Gray, on Flickr Arriving in Studica by Tom Gray, on Flickr Arriving in Studica by Tom Gray, on Flickr "Hold on, where's the welcome party?" the Commander said "Drat, did we forget to contact Filace? Great, now we've got a pile of diplomatic paperwork to shovel through!"
  4. Map Name: Bricklandia Grid: F7 New Brickika relies on largely on mobility, so as soon as war was declared the military was mobilised and attacking the bordering Deland Republic. The main assault was comprised of light units to swiftly capture small targets such as the historic border village in the Deland Republic; Attack on the Deland Republic by Tom Gray, on Flickr Attack on the Deland Republic by Tom Gray, on Flickr Attack on the Deland Republic by Tom Gray, on Flickr Attack on the Deland Republic by Tom Gray, on Flickr Attack on the Deland Republic by Tom Gray, on Flickr The RoN filth knocked out the tracks of one of the light 'Stormer' tank, slowing down the fighting. The narrow streets had many beautiful and historic houses, one can only hope these are left out of the destruction of war. [I have began hunting for space to put white sheets and lamps to aid my photography somewhat but it will take time ]
  5. Map Name: Bricklandia Grid: H7 With war already sweeping the globe, New Brickika must take up measure to prevent any counter-attack. An old trench line from about fifty years ago has been reused to minimise the cost. 6. Mint Conditions Map Name: Bricklandia Grid Reference: G4 Seeing the inevitable war ahead, the New Brickika government has ordered the printing of more money. Their vast gold reserves built up over centuries means the inflation will have little damage on their strong currency. New Brickika Mint by Tom Gray, on Flickr New Brickika Mint by Tom Gray, on Flickr New Brickika Mint by Tom Gray, on Flickr New Brickika Mint by Tom Gray, on Flickr New Brickika will be developing their armour divisions soon, this is probably where all this dosh will be spent on, that or the usual filling in potholes or the grand opening of another seaside chip shop. ____________________________ I brushed up on my presentation seeing that it may have hindered my previous scores maybe this will not detract from it this time *wink* *wink* A little side note, I will be extremely busy over the next two months so there might be a drop in builds but hopefully I will still find time to gather points. Thanks for viewing.
  7. The newly finished mobile SAM had not been field tested, so I had the privilege of guarding the vehicle while the crew scanned for possible targets. Great Brick War - Mobile SAM by Tom Gray, on Flickr All of a sudden I heard the operator shouting. Something had appeared on the scanners. We waited. Great Brick War - Mobile SAM by Tom Gray, on Flickr "Base told us it isn't replying and it has entered our airspace!" The UFO was coming from Tosul, the crew acted fast. Great Brick War - Mobile SAM by Tom Gray, on Flickr "Ready and fire!" Great Brick War - Mobile SAM by Tom Gray, on Flickr Great Brick War - Mobile SAM by Tom Gray, on Flickr My squad-mate began laughing, "It was a bird! We've shot down a bird!" Turns out that bogey was one of the most endangered species on the planet, only found in Tosul. "Ah, we'll blame it on lightning or something" said the crew as he looked through binoculars at the bird that was now a burnt crisp. 8. Good Evening, I'm Theodore McCallum and you're watching the Red Wings News. New Brickika News room by Tom Gray, on Flickr We are glad to announce the NBAF (New Brickika Air Force) is expanding it's arsenal. The RWN has been given special images of their new jets on the Southern Beach Airfield (I8). This Airbase was abandoned after the colonies were granted independence, but troublesome times have meant New Brickika must use all her resources to defend herself in the inevitable war. Here are the images; Lego Fighter Jet roughly based on the American F-35 Lightning 2 by Tom Gray, on Flickr Lego Fighter Jet roughly based on the American F-35 Lightning 2 by Tom Gray, on Flickr Lego Fighter Jet roughly based on the American F-35 Lightning 2 by Tom Gray, on Flickr Splendid craft I must say. These Raptor-35s are not yet armed, but as soon as they are, I hope those bombs are dropped on the commie scum North-West of our great nation. Next, we'll be looking at our special report; the "Rise of the Reds' which is to be aired tomorrow, and stay tuned for our tips on buying the best guns for the lowest price. _______________________________________ [Note, RWN channel is Right-Wing if you didn't catch the drift, this is not the view of all New Brickians] [Extra pictures] Jet wing landing gear up More pics of the fighter jet by Tom Gray, on Flickr End Elevation of Jet More pics of the fighter jet by Tom Gray, on Flickr Theodore watching some 'Liberal nonsense' on his brake to get him riled up for the next broadcast. 9. (Apologies in advance for my terrible photography, I have limited space and only a phone camera ) Joining the forces was hardly an excuse for a holiday but with the promise of peace I gazed upon the great ocean in front of me. The reason for this particular excursion was to set up a patrol between the new coastal lookout posts which had been renovated recently, updated from their imperial days. New Brickika Coastal Lookout by Tom Gray, on Flickr It may have been an excuse to get the boys out driving again after all, it was a spectacular view along that golden wall. New Brickika Coastal Lookout by Tom Gray, on Flickr The squad was good company although the jeep driver seemed a little to common for my liking. New Brickika Coastal Lookout by Tom Gray, on Flickr New Brickika Coastal Lookout by Tom Gray, on Flickr Inside, the captain was listening out for 'enemies' on our top-grade tech. I am positive all that static will drive him insane though he wouldn't be the only crazy one in the army. New Brickika Coastal Lookout by Tom Gray, on Flickr Anybody in that filthy RoN thinking of a sneak attack on New Brickika would surely fail due to installations such as these!
