Colony Name: Rassilon Ownership: Sea Rats Location: The Nest of Thieves (Sea of Storms) Mayor: MKJoshA Who can own property in Rassilon: Any Sea Rat Who can freebuild in Rassilon: Anyone. Military Presence: 1 Medium Fort, 1 Platoon of Troops Map: Rassilon is located in square I-10 on the map, at the entrance to Ten Mile Creek. The port of Rassilon has the privilege of having forts. Three of these formed a triangle which allowed them to best protect the bay and other interests. Behind the base of this triangle sprang up housing that was sturdy and higher quality than average. Because of this and the fact that it was the best protected portion of the city residences here were naturally more expensive to buy or rent. Unfortunately, I was also distinctly lacking in funds for further voyages to the newer colonies. Indeed, I was worryingly close to longer being able to retain accommodation for myself and storage for my manuscripts. Forced, as I was, to relocate myself I began to frequent a small tavern near the outskirts of Bastion known as the Lonely Lantern. After a few nights an unusually quiet group entered the tavern. This was a ship's crew, and fortuitously for me they were looking for more recruits. My enthusiasm was dampened but my curiosity piqued when I heard the captain's name: Leon Dracken. This was the crew of the Bleak Angel, a ship surrounded by all manner of tall and sinister tales. But still, I needed money and transport. Here, now, was a chance for both. After a couple more drinks I introduced myself to the ship's first mate, Alastair Jakes, and we discussed the notion of my joining the crew for a short time. To my relief, I was accepted. Tzomo Today we are transporting some cannon to Rassilon to help fortify her defenses.....should one of the tyrant nations choose to interfere in our affairs... Running guns to Rassilon on Flickr I've brought one crewman along to keep watch, but no resistance is expected, as this is our backyard.... Cannon transport wagon on Flickr Our rig is quite stout.....and plenty capable of hauling the weight we've been tasked with....
