  1. The EF76 Nebulon-B Frigate has to be one of my favorite ships from the original trilogy. After rewatching the beautiful ending scene in Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, I decided to take on the Midi-Scale challenge once again. This very compact model is made of 1,464 pieces and measures 48cm. With this design, I tried to maximize the density factor in the smallest, most convenient size possible. The Nebulon-B features a movie-accurate, fully asymmetrical design, from side panels to greebles and surface detail. It also includes cannons, sensors, an accurate and intricate bridge section, a streamlined water tank, and many small details seen on the original ship. Reproducing the various front assemblies, small buildings in the back and all the greebles around the engine section took lots of fine-tuning, mindful part choices, and fun gap-filling sessions to closely match the ILM prop model. The building process isn't too long nor complex: I once again went for a fully modular approach, and the reasonable part count makes it both a manageable and relatively affordable build. The EF76 comes with a wide built-in stand and can be moved around easily. It can even be grabbed and held by its long middle section which is made of a sturdy technic liftarm configuration. ► Instructions for the Nebulon-B are available at BrickVault! More pictures on my Flickr page.
  2. Please excuse my mugshot in this post but a banana for scale just wasn't cutting it. I've just completed work on a pretty big Nebulon-B. A re-make of a midi scale version of the ship I created 3 years ago. Unlike that one however, for this model I matched it to blueprints and screenshots every step of the design and build process (see final image below). The Nebulon-B turns out to be a far sleeker and streamlined ship than it appears to be at first glance. Hopefully I've captured some of that with my build. Instructions are available on Rebrickable here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-131500/Rubblemaker/movie-accurate-nebulon-b-escort-frigate-midi-plus-scale/#details Full album can be found on Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/164260086@N06/albums/72177720304383285 Thanks for looking. :)

    [MOC] Nebulon-b Escort Frigate

About 3 years ago, I made a Nebulon-b out of parts I had at my house, and really liked it. People were asking me for instructions to buy it, and I didnt have any. Now, three years later, I have finally gotten around to upgrading it and making instructions. With that being said, here is my new and improved Nebulon-b Escort Frigate:I built this with the main goal of making it movie accurate, sturdy, good for display, but most of all, CHEAP! All of the 1895 pieces will cost you about $190 to order through bricklink, which is less than many other mocs Ive seen that can be very expensive. This was very fun to build, and way better than my old model. Disclaimer: I have not built this version out of physical bricks, and am planning to buy it for myself once I gain enough money to buy the parts myself. The point is, the inside structure is almost identical to my old one, and it is sturdy. The stand will be enough to hold it up.I did not include an interior, but there is enough space in the main part under the antennas for two minifigs sitting down. It can easily be decorated if you are into interiors in your models. The ship looks good from all angels and has a little unfilled space which you can barely see. Here are the rest of the images: The moc is now For Sale at: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-41937/AWproductions/nebulon-b-escort-frigate/?inventory=1#info Here is the link to my old model that I built if anybody is interested: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/150019-moc-nebulon-b-escort-frigate/

    [MOC] Nebulon-b Escort Frigate

This is the long worked on Lego Nebulon-b Escort Frigate. I started building this one day a month ago when I was looking for something challenging to build. I did a quick google on rebel ships, and decided to do this one. I saw another, way bigger version of this on eurobricks, and I used that as a little reference, too. The ship is very sturdy, and the way it is built is very cool. Here's an overview picture and I will go into more detail in other pictures. (Just so you know this isn't the Redemtion, that's why the pods are different colors) (It is swooshable, and I intend on making an instruction manual for you guys).
  7. Hello all Eurobrickers! Today is a great day for the community as a MOC is making its long awaited release to the public! That's right, Mortesv's UCS-Scale Nebulon-B Medical Frigate now has plans ready for purchase The purchase of these plans includes a professional grade manual totaling at 1,493 pages, the LDD files used to create the manual, an excel spreadsheet covering the 531 unique parts lot and their quantity, and a bonus LDD file that contains to scale models of fighter ships to put next to Nebulon when it is on display! So to recap, a purchase of these plans includes the original LDD files, a 1,493 page instruction manual, an excel spreadsheet parts list, and a bonus LDD file with to-scale fighters. The final price for this awesome bundle is 50 U.S Dollars ($50). If you are interested in purchasing a copy, please PM me or send an email to chrdvorak@hotmail.com The final MOC contains 5,728 pieces, which would make it the largest Lego Star Wars set if it were released on shelves. The ship measures about 4 feet long when completed! A lot of hard work went into this project on both the designing end and the manual end, and Mortesv and I are very excited to give everyone the chance to build this awesome MOC! Here are some images from the manual: May the force be with you and happy building!!!
