Oky posted a topic in LEGO Star WarsHello there! Today I would like to share with you a MOC that is nearly 2 years old. I just never got around to taking and posting good pictures of it until now. It's a constraction figure scale rendition of the scene in Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi chases General Grievous through the mines of Utapau which won second place in the constraction category at Star Wars Days 2018 and is part of what earned me the Miss Congeniality Award at Bricks LA 2019. Grievous' Wheelbike really rolls, has a working headlight and rotating cannon, and can transform into its walker mode. Boga is fully posable as well.
As you probably know, torque effect happens e.g. when a helicopter spins its rotor, and is "spun back" by the rotor in turn, proportionally to the ratio of helicopter/rotor weight. I find this effect quite fascinating and I was wondering if it can be used to steer a true monowheel left and right effectively. It took some adjustments, but the answer is: yes, it can.
This one of a kind Monocycle is the first to be publicly retailed. Get your Monocycle M 2100 today, with the latest features including; night vision glasses with GPS functions, auto-control driving for when you need a rest, plenty of storage room for long trips and the newest plutonium engine that can exceed 440 mph with complete stability. The future is at your doorstep but will you open the door? This completely original Lego moc took 8 hours from idea to final product and has around 200 pieces. I built it to enter in the Lego Rebrick contest, Build to the Future, sponsored by BMW. I received a runner up prize for my monocycle concept and design. I hope you like it and would like any feedback you can give. I want to improve my techniques. I hope you like my idea. - MovieMocs
