Hi EB followers. I've finished my most recent build. Predictably its another Art-Deco/Streamlined hotel building but I figured its been a few years since the last so I've had time to refine my ideas! It's called the Deluxe hotel and it's taken a couple of months to finalise due the constant changing of ideas in my mind in how I wanted it to look. It's not directly based of any paricular hotel but incorporates elements of many ones found in South Florida. Only a couple of images to show, the interior is quite shallow so I didn't bother with an interior this time. Anyway, comments and questions as always welcomed! You can find the images on my flickr here if you prefer. Regards! Andrew

Modern Modular Building MOC: Two Story Corner (Pasión del Cielo Coffe
brickbuilder711 posted a topic in LEGO Town
Hello friends! Finally got back in the grind! My latest is a building built for the modular scale, quite simple actually but the focus is on the inside details. Video below: The ground floor features a Pasión del Cielo coffee branch, it's similar to recognizable names like Starbucks except aside from local pastries, your choice of coffee from 11 beans (which I felt the wall that they were displayed on was the coolest feature to build). They have locations in Miami and Mexico so I admit they probably aren't well known in the EB community but nonetheless something I want to share! The top floor features a store selling exercise/sporting material (and supposedly bikes as an ode to one of the coffee company's partners) and has a yoga studio. Wanted to capture different elements of the local lifestyle using LEGO Brick. Enjoy! Full size images available here https://www.flickr.c...157663424251735 -
Hi everyone, My latest moc is called The Ocean restaurant and is inspired by Miami's south beach area. I felt some of my ealiest attempts on the style didn't do it justice. I thought a 1 storey building wouldn't be as time-consuming as some of my more recent buildings much larger in size which would allow me to concentrate more on the details and refinement. The exterior was done first and I wasn't originally going to do an interior but was persuaded to and I'm pleased I did as it turned out to be pretty fun designing. Anyway on with the pics - There's only 5 this time so i'll put them all in here These are all the pictures from this MOC, if you'd prefer to view them at flickr go here: https://www.flickr.c...s/52656812@N04/ Comments welcome!

Hi everyone! Here is a quick build I made after returning from the US in the summer where I got a little inspiration. It gave me a chance to use some techniques which I wanted to use a long time ago. I wanted to use lots of classic streamline moderne elements and styles. Its a shop selling clothes for ladies. I mainly wanted to concentrate on the fascia of the building so didn't bother making it completely modular like previous builds. There is a few more pics on here http://www.flickr.co...s/52656812@N04/ Comments welcome!
