    [MOC] Macaw

Hello , as I promised: a new animal. It´s a new version of a blue and gold macaw. This time it´s a life-size model of a macaw. It is about 78 cm tall. An adult blue and gold macaw can be even bigger, but it was difficult enough to make this thing stable (just with bricks).

    [MOC] The Scarlet's Perch

This LEGO Model is of a Scarlet Macaw currently being displayed at the Dallas Zoo in relations with the "Nature Connects" exhibit by Sean Kenney. This model will be on display until April 10th 2016. This model is just under 12 inches tall and features a "tree stand" for displaying. It was an interesting challenge to get the curves of the bird with correct proportions to the real bird, but all pieces are connected and it is quite sturdy. Thanks for looking! ~JU

    Iridescent Flight

Sometimes our Lego desk takes on a whole new look entirely... Here's another detail shot, including our brick built signature and another angle for the paint and brushes. This vibrant Macaw was painted for our Iron Builder against the Erickson brothers it was initially inspired by The Horse of Rohan mosaic by Bolt of Blue. Thanks for viewing! S&C
