  1. Hi,I'm making a topic to combine my WIP stuff, any questions and worries while building stuff. I've been making B-C-models since I was 6th /now 31/, playing with ATCO bricks, as in Bulgaria LEGO was stupidly expensive. 20 years later I was given 42046 as a gift and here we are... I've got 43 MOCs on rebrickable now - you can see them HERE My Bricksafe hoarding place for renders and real-life shots is HERE Some of you may have already seen some of my work posted on the forum here /42106 Big Rig/. C models followed - a truck trailer from 42103 visible above, revised 42039's B model /below, both manual and RC/ and a whole bunch of stuff from 42101 and 42102 /also below/. 42101 alt-builds - up left - a mini-cyber-truck-thing, up-right - trial truck from mini-Claas and Buggy - two steered axles, some interior, lots of color barf. Down left - touring bike - front suspension, steering. Bottom right again Claas and Buggy Combo - Soviet Big Rig - opening doors, HoG steering, fifth wheel that accepts big trailers. Up left - plane out of 42101 - propeller spins, VERY SOLID and hard to take apart. Up right - a bit ugly ATV, has steering and rear solid axle, that's suspended. Does wheelies. Down left - helicopter - has inverted HoG to spin the propeller, rear one is manual too. Down right - Rat Rod - has Beam of God steering and a low stance. If you push it hard it'll even scrape the floor :D 42106 VW Camper - build log is below in the topic. It has pullback, wheelie bar, wheelie stand and a cute face. Same parts can build the 42098B funny car. It has a V6, by-passable pullback, /un/lockable steering and HoG on the roof. Modified it quite a bit as you can see. Corvette's Hot rod also made from 42106's parts - featuring V8, linked steering wheel, lockable steering, HoG in the back, by-passable pullback motor, removable roof, exhausts and supercharger. ================================ GTS is my old forum name and my nickname in Bulgarian is Kostq /pronounced Kost-ya/. So you don't get confused by the profiles.
  2. This is my first SoNE Moc, so C & C welcome, though it's not my first Star Wars Moc. ------ Part 1: Windu (Short for Windusky) walked into General Crux's office, clad in new armor. Windusky: "Reporting for Special Operations duty, General Crux." Gen. Crux: "Ah yes, i've been watching your skills as a trooper, and so i've been waiting for you. I have your assignment ready." "What is it?" "We've received reports of a crime syndicate who are selling spices and stealing from one of our bases on Tatooine. I need you do go down there and sneak into their base, and blow it to kingdom come." "Here's a picture of the bomb you'll be using." "Where will i be picking this bomb up?" "From a client in Mos Ila that goes by the name Jzar. You'll know him when you see him." "Alright sir, when should i dispatch?" "ASAP." "Yes sir." "Oh, and Windu?" "Yes, General?" "Our missions don't exist to other stormtroopers. Speak of this to no one but High Generals." "Yes General Crux." Thanks for any Constructive Criticism. I would like for this build to be judged.

    Making Maple Syrup

I'd like to receive one UoP credit for manufacturing [Trade and Law]. Mattiusxavier suggested that I build a MOC showing maple syrup being made, I thought it was a great idea (my family actually makes our own Maple Syrup every year) and after finishing some other builds was able to make this. The process of making Maple Syrup is pretty simple, in the later winter/early spring you tap Maple trees and hang buckets to collect their sap. Then that sap is gathered and heated to evaporate much of the water from the sap and make syrup. There is a full interior in the cabin. Sugaring season is always a pleasant time in Mitgardia: whole families work together to tap the Maple trees and then gather the sap and boil it to make the delicous syrup that is commonly used for flavoring. Any Comments/Criticism welcome
  4. Ok, here is my entry, got it finished this morning after all night build. My triple consist of truck, removable log crane and trailer. The truck and the crane work with remote PF. (except outriggers on crane are handled manually) The truck: The truck features forward/reverse (L-motor) and return to center steering by PF servo. In the truck are also located the cranes turntable and main boom motors (M&L). It uses maximum 500 parts, it was quite a challenge to do such large model with relativelly small part count. I used LDD trough all the build, so it shouldn't exceed the max part count. I learned a LOT on optimizing and utilizing special technic parts. I'm quite happy with appearance of it, and I like the cabin very much. All tho I had to tape few panels black cause I hadn't anough of them :( But I think you hardly notice :) The crane: The crane features main boom, second boom, and fully operational claw. They work remotely. (one channel not used) Motors are M. It has also manual outriggers. Crane also uses all 500 parts. The claw rotates using small turntable and claw closing action is fed trough it. The claw is synchronized so turning the claw won't affect much to closing action. The synchronization is done in the superstructure with system of gears and differential. In short, when the turning motor is driven, it also turns the the claw gears trough the stationary differential in opposite direction so the claw is almost unaffected (It was not possible to exactly match the gear ratios with small turntable). When claw motor is driven, is the differential turning and closing/opening the claw. Claw turning is not affected at all. I'm quite pleased with this brainchild. It could be used with any other application when turntable is causing undesired action. Below is the crane with out battery case, so the system is visible: (It's a poor picture, I don't know can you make any sense of it) The trailer: Nothing special there, other than it uses only 453 parts :) oh, and I'm also short of double angular beams in same color. All my Black and dark grey ones are in this triple. Finally, all working together: Short video clip: I think I will just copy this to entry topic. (Did it) Feel free to comment.
  5. Hi everybody. I build another MOC in the last days and wanted to share the result with you. Is is nothing special, but I like it. The whole truck is exactly 100 cm long (trailer is 66 cm). The truck is motorized with power functions, it has one XL motor for driving and one M motor for steering. For a better steering I have attached a worm gear. It seems, that I only build log trucks :-) Enjoy the pictures and let me know, what you think...
