Middle Earth is one of the most expansive, well-known worlds ever created by an author. This project honors J.R.R Tolkien and the beautiful world he created, as well as Peter Jackson, who brought Middle Earth to life. There are so many Lord of the Rings and Hobbit fans who were disappointed when the LEGO series was discontinued. You can learn more about my project and its goals at Lego Ideas here. Also, I would love to have feedback on how to improve and what I could add. Please leave a reply. (I am a new member and this is my first MOC that I am posting.) Middle-Earth Minis is a series which contains many small, microscale versions of the iconic places in Middle Earth. Since LEGO chose not to produce many locations, hopefully these can cover for some of them. Ideally, all of the locations would come in one set with a Middle Earth Map and you could put each microscale version on their according locations. The locations: Bag End Isengard (Orthanc) Argonath Edoras Helms Deep Minas Tirith Minas Morgul Barad-Dur

Isengard is attacked! The Moc mobilized more than 700 pieces. Ent from the set Orthanc (10237), is launching a rock on the walls of Isengard in the aim of eliminating the orc of Saruman. It lies in the background. In the foreground we can see Treebard, Merry (not visible) and Pippin who throws in his way a rock. The wall chipped and provides an opportunity for revenge against Saruman. This is an episode of the war of the ring I wanted to represent: unusual that between Ents and Saruman. The quote makes reference to the tell by Treebard before attacking cited of the magician in the movie: The Two Towers. Ents_in_Isengard

Hello everybody. I wanted to share with you all my newest (LOTR) MOC. I decided to make a MOC based on Amon-hen, and chose Boromir's Last Stand for this. Perhaps I'll do a second Amon-hen scene in the future, probably the Seat of Seeing with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. But for now, this will do... "As the Fellowship continues their journey past Lothlorien, they are held back at Amon-hen and are confronted by a group of Uruk-hai scouts and their leader, Lurtz, to separate the Fellowship from each other and to take away the Halfling who carries the One Ring... But even Boromir, son of Denethor II of Gondor, could not resist the power of the One Ring, and after a failed attempt to take the ring from Frodo, he was faced with one chance to redeem himself. Slaying Uruk-hai after Uruk-hai, Boromir displayed his strength in battle, but none of this lasted, for the Uruk-hai leader Lurtz had already arrived; bow in hand, with the first arrow to be fired..." __________________________________________________________________________________ Hope you liked it, C&C is welcome as always. Just a quick, yet surprisingly complicated build. I’m rather happy with how it turned out; it’s simple but it works and I think it looks great. Really, I’m just using this as a test run before I eventually make a micro Barad-dûr; which I intend to use the cool Palantiri head for the eye once it’s released (See it here! I called it! No one can use it! ). Regardless, I’m happy with my Orthanc, especially with the spires which use Venom’s new back piece to hold them in place. Enjoy ~Nemo

Hello! I would like to present you my uruk-hai army. I plan to build an army of 100 uruk-hai, divided into different units like swordsmen, pikemen, crossbow-men, sappers, berserkers, captains, standard-bearers and general. First unit is "Uruk-hai Swordsmen". I have 10 figs now, the planned number of swordsmen is 25. I´m still waiting for the pieces from one BL store, so please, be patient, until I´ll show you the next unit (or should I use the "troop"? :)).
