Andy D posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI was looking around on YouTube the other day and I found these videos by Milan "grohl666" Reindl. They are of an alternate model for the BMW 42063, a very nice hover bike.. The first is a demonstration of the features… The second is a how-to video. Has anyone built this or any other model that has a 27 minute Youtube video as instruction. I’m just not sure how well that would work out of me. I really want to build it, maybe I will try. I accidentally put the demonstration video in twice, can someone please fix it for me... Jim... Help! Andy D
Another experiment using parts I've never used before. I used hammers, wrenches, a scuba thing and backpack as an engine, skates, that yellow shield thing in front, chainsaw and zipline tools as some kind of belt-drive, etc. The wedgeplates in back can be removed to service the greeble under the bike. Happy with how it turned out, though I'd have to build it with real bricks to align some of the parts correctly. After admiring all the sweet LEGO hover bikes that pop up, I finally got around to making one. Wanted to start this build with a piece I've never used before, so I spun the wheel of destiny and it landed on...a crab. Notes •The thin slots above the rear exhaust can be used to attach a saddlebag •The top of the gas tank (2x2 engine piece) probably bumps into the horse saddle, other than that, 99% of the connections should work. •Not all pieces are available in these colors, I just wanted to explore what I could do with Stud.io. •I replaced two [1x1 round plates] under the Crab with [Roller Skates] for the first image, they look better.
