    [MOC] XTS-620

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have recovered the secret data from the archive. The data was highly encrypted but after our best hacker decrypted it, we found out that it had highly sophisticated mech frame plans. We carried out the XTS-620 experimental mech frame to the test range and it pretty much passed all the test in record timing. This is one of the most destructive mech we have ever built. We call it "Twins". This "Twins" mech is piloted by two pilots working in perfect harmony with eachother. The left side is mounted with a highly destructive gauss ion cannon. It has enough power to pierce our experimental "Cocoon" armor. The weapon is still not fully tested so do not go over 70% power or you risk destroying the arm completely. On the left side, we have a high pressurized pyromite launcher that has 3 times the range of our standard pyromite launchers. Also for melee combat, the left arm is mounted with a large plasmite claw. There is enough power to crush a class 5 titan head like an egg. The legs are equipped with experimental dampening systems that allow the mech to jump down without any damage to the actuators. This mech requires highly trained pilots that can sync up in perfect harmony. We have sent you this experimental mech for a field test on real action. Be cautious." -Mech build lab

    [MOC] XT-G20

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have a solution to the invasion from the coast side. We would like you to try our latest weapon: the XT-G20. This combat walker is equipped with heavy lasers that will destroy the flying enemies with pinpoint accuracy. The lasers need a short time to ramp up but after charged, they can shoot down fliers from long distances. To keep swarming enemies on their toes, we added 8 long range missile pods to the shoulders that have flak tips. If however an enemy or two gets to land, we gave the XT-G20 arms that can punch or grasp into things. The XT-G20 is a heavy class mech with medium armor and it's only weakness is attacks from behind. It's however exceptional at long range anti air combat. Use your radar and locate the enemy fliers before they get too close. We have sent you 5 XT-G20's to help you in your next mission." -Mech build lab "Alright, let's see what this mech is made of. There is a large swarm headed our way." -Commandant

    [MOC] SW-K10 "Sasquatch"

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have designed a new weapon for your command. May we introduce to you, the SW-K10. We nicknamed him.. "The Sasquatch". This combat walker is equipped with corrosive pyromite flamethrowers that will melt the armor from the outside and cook everything in the inside. This pyromite chemical will stick to any surface and continue to burn up to 5 hours on it's own. For ranged combat, we added some explosive tip medium range missiles to help you get closer to the enemies. We do not recommend to get up close and personal but as a last case scenario, we added some plasmite claws that heat up and help you claw trough heavier armor like it's paper. The SW-K10 is a medium class mech with high armor so it's only weakness is the slow movement speed. But the armor should make you durable enough to withstand long ranged weaponry for a short duration. Use terrain as your advantage and get to medium or short range to wreak havoc to the enemies. We have sent you 10 SW-K10's to aid you in your next mission." -Mech build lab "Ten SW-K10's deployed. Let's turn up the heat and roast some aliens." -Commandant
  4. http://faberfiles.bl...scontinued.html A few days ago Faber posted a concept poster of Hero Factory during it's early stages of development. The description was later removed as Faber felt it was too emotional and that the development work should remain secret. However, thanks to a 4chan anon and a few board users, we have the full confirmed description which sheds some light on the IFB ending and the original concept of HF. "The last HF episode "Invasion from below" became the most watched piece of content on LEGO's website the year it came out. At the same time it marked the end of the short life of Hero Factory. It was criticised for a lot of different reasons but here are a few personal views on this battered factory." "Invasion from Below" was made on a very low budget by Advance and Ghost who made all the original Bionicle animations. The episode was a struggle because the storyline got changed dramatically during production. It was definitely ment to be continued because (of cause) the Queen wasn't gone and the case wasn't closed for HF. The voice actor changes was done for budget reasons because we didn't have budget for the the original voice actors." "Having worked on both Bionicle and HF from the very beginning I can tell you that the work that went into creating the HF universe was much more deep than the early foundation of Bionicle. We wanted to use all we had learned from Bionicle but make something that was really different from Bionicle yet as epic and big and therefore we created what we called a "realtime IP" meaning that this was not a legend, it was actually happening now somewhere in another galaxy. We wanted to mirror present day but in a tech build-up. In some way inspired by the humor of The Incredibles by Pixar." "The backstory of HF is extremely deep and epic and hold secrets that were never used. They are still in the huge concept bible that I keep. I hope to get to show them and do a extensive blogpost about HF and it's creation on this blog when the time is right. A last note is that Hero Factory was only meant as a location springboard into this vast story universe and the story was meant to get much more personal when the real truth about the factory was discovered. The idea of a factory that builds cocky heros made to specifications was actually a provocation to the whole legendary hero story we had told in Bionicle. The real hero would be found somewhere else...:) to be continued..." Here's the poster depicting a rather superhero-esque robot. Personally it gives me a Rachet and Clank vibe for some reason. Like a lot of other fans I viewed Hero Factory as a mountain of unused potential, and after reading what it *really* could have been those feelings have been amplified by 11. A story and universe that could have been even stronger than Bionicle combined with incredible creative freedom just really hurts as a lost opportunity. I have to wonder if a similar situation happened with Bionicle G2. Discuss what you think on what HF almost was.
  5. So a while ago( what was it, last year?) I had an idea, before the "Breakout" episode came out and the idea of a 'Villain Factory' wasn't so talked about in Hero Factory, I decided to build a drone 'prototype' for some bad guy army. Basically just wanted to use the canister-thing in the Nitroblast set as a helmet. It worked.. sort of.. and I went from there. Used some older 'Bionicle' parts on there as you can tell. The Skrall blade for an antennae, the Whenua Metru masks for the shoulder-pads(wish I'd done that better), and the Barraki feet. Mantax I think? I added the Hero Cuffs on later, once I'd gotten a hold of a Breakout set that included them. I think they were from Rocka's set. Man that was cool. It's been nearly a year since these were taken, but I wanted to share my creations anyway. Now that the computer is deciding to behave itself.. here they are! (I've resized the pics and for some reason they still keep coming out too big. Apologies in advance) Front: Back: Alongside Hero "Citrus" Using Citrus' cuffs against her I had a photo of "Citrus" on the ground after, but sadly it has been lost. And "Citrus" was your average Hero build with a foot on the back. Nothing special, but one of my favorites for some reason. Later, like December later, after "Breakout" had been released, I decided to get a little creative with my pieces. I looked at the Super Hero add-on part and thought 'hmm, what can I do with this?' So I did this: I hope I haven't posted this already! It's just a face with a mustache. And bling. Hope you enjoy, hopefully I'll have some new things to share(or new photos of new MOCs to share) very soon :)

    Deadly Predator

Hi all, this one is a MOC designed at the 3.0 serie time. The color scheme of this MOC was inspired by a Yuri Fassio's creation. The Infected Evo build for the context was inspired by this MOC. Click on the picture to open the flickr set. Also on MOCPages
