  1. Hi, Here I'm posting all my custom minifigs the days to come. I started back in early 2017 with building again and between builds I started with the customization of minifigs. 2. This is my creation of Westeros where the epic fantasy saga “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. R. Martin and the HBO show “Game Of Thrones” mainly take place. The project fits in the Architecture Skyline theme. Hope you like it, any constructive comments and suggestions are welcome. More photos and instructions I recreated six of the most important locations of the show, going from south to north: Sunspear – The seat of House Martell and the capital of Dorne King's Landing – The capital of the Seven Kingdoms Pyke – The seat of House Greyjoy The Twins – The seat of House Frey Winterfell – The seat of House Stark, is considered to be the capital of the North The Wall – The massive barrier of mostly ice stretching across the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms, defending the realm from the wildlings who live beyond Total parts: 442 Measures: 44 x 8 x 10 studs 35,5 x 7 x 8 cm 14 2,8 3,2 inches p.s. hope this section of the forum is correct :)
  3. Hi, In January 2018 I started with my first Game of Thrones moc. After 5 months of building and 20.000+ bricks later it was done. The scene is based upon the season 3: Episode 7 Bear and the Maiden Fair. If you like what you see give me a follow on; Flick, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and/or Pinterest. 4. Hello Everyone, this is my first post here, so apologies if I made any mistakes! I was going to post this model on Lego Ideas, but (not surprisingly) Game of Thrones is not suitable content for them, so I decided to post it here and see what you guys think. This is a (not so small) scale model of the castle of Winterfell from George R. R. Martin's epic fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire, and more specifically, a model of the castle as it appeared in HBO's award winning tv series Game of Thrones. In the series, Winterfell acts, (most of the time) as the home of house Stark, one of the main noble families in the fictional land of Westeros. Winterfell is seen often throughout the series, and stood out to me among all the other places in Westeros, not just because of its prominent role, but because of its unique design and architecture. Many of the castles we see in movies and on tv look amazing, with their numerous gold turrets, towers, large windows, and vast balconies, but all these features make the castles relatively unrealistic in an actual medieval setting. It is because Winterfell lacks these common features on fictional castles that it stood out to me so much. In the real medieval era, most castles were not very opulent, and had pretty plain, utilitarian exteriors. If you think about this, it makes quite a bit of sense, as putting all your wealth on the outside of your castle meant it could be damaged or stolen if you are attacked. I know, I know, most fantasy tv shows and movies aren't going for historical accuracy, including Game of Thrones, (I love seeing dragons flying around as much as the next guy) but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate when the creators do make things look as though they actually might in the given time period. I based this model off of the scale desktop model of Winterfell you can buy online (just search google for: Winterfell sculpture, and you'll see a few pages with it), and it includes all the main features of the castle, including the Winterfell Godswood, with the Weirwood tree and broken tower. I am quite pleased with the way the Weirwood tree turned out, its a new design that I haven't used before, maybe some of you have, but I hadn't, and so was quite pleased when I came up with it. Despite my best efforts, this is a large model, measuring approximately 2 feet by 1 foot, and comprised of 3046 pieces. If any of you want to build the model, a link at the bottom of this description will bring you to a folder with the full size images of the model, a bricklink parts list, a .io model file for the Stud.io lego design program (my personal favorite), and a .ldr model file for use with Ldraw. I do not have a .lxf file for use in Lego Digital Designer, as this model uses some newer bricks not in that program, so I apologize for not being able to offer that to those of you who use LDD. If you do build the model, please send me some pictures of it! As with my Hogwarts model, I don't have enough pieces to actually build it, so it would be awesome to see a real model if any of you are more fortunate with your LEGO collections than I am :). Also, feel free to share this with anyone you want and post images of it, as long as you remember to give credit to me as the model's creator, and provide a link back to this post. I will most likely be posting this model on Rebrickable as well, but I need to create instructions for it before I can do that, and that's the boring part of model making, so I'm procrastinating it :), A link to my Rebrickable page where you will eventually be able to find it will be posted beneath this description as well. And finally, here is the link to that folder with all the files mentioned above: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pb0hN4USgPyKzkSvDyXeKFhb4Nkczwxq?usp=sharing and to my Rebrickable MOCs page: https://rebrickable.com/users/EthanBrossard/mocs/ and here are the images! winterfell lego with logo3 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #0 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #1 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #2 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #3 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #4 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #5 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #6 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #7 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #8 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #9 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #10 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #11 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #12 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #13 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #14 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #15 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #16 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego #17 small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr winterfell lego - winter small by Ethan Brossard, on Flickr Thank you in advance for any feedback/advice! 7. So i'm a massive Game of Thrones fans, the show though not the books so I guess i'm that sort've plebe. I've seen GoT mocs on Eurobricks before so i've thought that there has to be a dedicated thread to the show, especially given how popular it is. Apparently there isn't so I thought why not start one. With the recent start of season 6 what better timing is there? I'm just going to make a simple rule of the thread. If what you're saying is a spoiler put the text in spoiler tags. If it's not and just an opinion or commentary on how you felt about the episode in a way that doesn't reveal plot points then you obviously don't have to. I personally would say this rule only applies to the current season but if there are a bunch of people who aren't caught up then it can be extended. Anyway enough about rules, this is such a great show onto the discussion! Warning Possible Spoilers Ahead! I thought the opening episode, The Red Woman was very interesting. Ser Davos continues to be one of my favorite characters.
  8. Hello, Inspired by the show opening of Game of Thrones I built four of the iconic castles from the TV series: Like in the series each castle features a mechanism that reveals by turning the crank on the base: I really enjoyed building these castles, so I am already planning to continue the series in 2017! Best, Jonas

    [MOC] The Titan of Braavos

Being based on George Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series and the HBO series Game of Thrones, I'm not sure if this belongs in historic themes or in "special" as just a sculpture, but since Martin was blatantly ripping off the Colossus of Rhodes and that was clearly historical, I think I'll post this here. (Moderators, feel free to move as you see fit) This guy stands about three feet tall (just shy of a meter) and made his public premiere at Brickfair New England, 2015, where it/I took the Brickee for Best Individual Builder (I offer a big thanks to all my fellow AFOLs who voted for me). A fair bit of engineering went into figuring out how to get him to lean/loom just right without collapsing under his own weight. The arms are cantilevered on technic beams through the shoulders. No glue or trans-clear parts are used to extra support, the shoulder joints actually do support the weight of the extended sword arm and the shield. Actually, there's quite a lot of technic action going on under the skin, the whole sculpture is pretty much a system of trusses with studs out in every direction and then it gets skinned in tiles, slopes and bows to give it its final form. The shield and armored kilt went through quite a number of revisions, reworkings and a few "why on earth am I even trying to do this?" moments, but in the end I came up with designs that generally worked for me. I hope you like them as well. Thanks for stopping by.

    [GoT] Craster's Keep

Hello, the HBO series Game of Thrones is an excellent source for inspiration and there are a lot of interesting landscapes and scenes that deserve a Lego version. My first choice felt on Craster's Keep. The awesome tree technique is stolen by Xenomurphy. Furthermore I got a lot of inspiration for the figures from Wats great GoT-minifigures. Jonas

  14. Greetings, Here it is, another CCCXI entry. This time i picked a location from the novel "A Game of Thrones": The Flea Bottom. A Wiki of Ice and Fire describes it as follows: "Flea Bottom is what the slum area of King's Landing is called. A down-trodden area of town. It has pot-shops along the alleys where one can get a 'bowl o' brown.' It has a stench of pigsties and stables, tanner's sheds mixed in with the smell of winesinks and whorehouses. It is a maze of twisty, unpaved alleys and cross-streets below the Street of Flour on the way down the west side of Rhaenys's Hill. The buildings lean over the narrow alleys, almost touching." In contrast to the tv-series, the novel "A Game of Thrones" dedicates an entire Chapte to Arya Stark surviving in the Flea Bottom by cathing pidgeons and exchanging them for bowl o' brown. fleabottom1hr von tobiasgeserick auf Flickr fleabottom2 von tobiasgeserick auf Flickr Fleabottom3 von tobiasgeserick auf Flickr

    Battle of the Trident

Hello! I've been wanting to do a Game of Thrones/ASOIAF MOC for quite some time now, and finally got some decent inspiration for a build. Of course, a short time into the build, I get a new job and have to start packing things up to move my family, so the major details of this have not yet been added. I don't want to guess how many times I had to reattatch the antlers on Robert's helmet, but it was by far the most fragile part of a build I've ever done, so I wanted to post pictures of it, as is, before I take it apart, and possibly rebuild once moved. If anyone is curious, the build is based off the cover picture of the table-top RPG for A Song of Ice and Fire, which can be seen here: http://www.greenroni...GRR2707_450.jpg Ours is the Fury! An an overhead shot of the whole build Comments and Criticism appreciated!
  16. So this is my take on the trial by combat scene between the Mountain and the Viper (Gregor Clegane and Oberyn Martell) from Game of Thrones. It's built on a 48x48 baseplate (a friend called it a 'bignette'). I played out the entire scene throughout, so only check the folder if you don't mind spoilers. That said, here are a few non-spoilery pictures: Folder (public after moderation, but up until then, the pictures are called 01.jpg through 22.jpg): http://www.brickshel...ntain-vs-Viper/

  18. I recently built this MOC of Winterfell courtyard from the Game of Thrones TV series. It's part of a CUUSOO idea for Modular Castle sets, which features well known castles, both fictional and non-fictional. This is the first proper moc I've built. The model comes in easy-to-assemble sections, which can also be moved around. The first section I built was the ravenry. The walls are removable, and the plan is to fit hinges on to the roof later on for full accessability. The ravnery also has cages to store the messenger birds. Please support on cuusoo here: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/36041 :classic: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ned Stark entering the castle: The castle entrance: Full view: Here are some images of the actual thing: Thanks for looking! Please leave some feedback and constructive criticism in the comments! Also, please support the project at: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/36041

    [MOC] The Iron Throne

I finally had time to take photos of a small project I worked on from time to time. The ultimate icon of power, treason and greed; the Iron Throne. And of course, the Bean:
