  1. With Halloween coming, it was time to build the "Great Pumpkin". This liquid fuels loading facility is build predominantly from 64 orange brick separators.Over the years, I've accumulated quite a number as one can see. An internal bracing structure is used to hold the brick separators in position. This structure is modular, so each time I acquire 8 more brick separators, I can increase the internal supports vertically by 5 plates. Maintaining the proper ladder length will be another issue entirely. Maybe if I get enough of the dark turquoise brick separators, I can do a stripe in the tank. In addition to the bulk tank, the facility has a guard shack, office, and a shade over the piping. I believe the guard shack came from a Batman LEGO set, but I added the Octan sign. The Octan truck is a City set. Everything else is hand built for this piece, including the DOT-111 tank car ("upgraded" to DOT-117 specs, link to the thread at bottom). [
  2. Hello guys ! Here is my Oil refinery, which I have completed recently . It is a mini version of Atmospheric distillation unit, which is a primary process in oil production. Everything is made as close to reality as possible with and opportunity for addition of more units and making even larger plant . There was a local competition celebrating 55 years from oil production in Bulgaria and I sent some photos of my creation. Last week I was contacted from the organizers and they asked if they could buy the set from me and store it at their museum. I have never considered selling a set or creation before and feel a bit confused. Can you advice me what kind of price I could want for it ? https://myalbum.com/album/sTEPkCBPCtBq
  3. This Retro styled gas station is a throwback to the glory days of the Drive In Theaters, Route 66, tail-fins on cars, & full service every time you fill up. You used to get this with every gasoline purchase: - Check lights - Fill gas tank - Check oil - Washer fluid refill - Check Tire pressure Fast & Friendly service guaranteed! (Now how's that for good customer relations!) The model was originally built in 2012. It was modeled after the 2011 CARS set 8487, (Flo's V8 Cafe) but made larger and without the launcher and car wash. I recently changed the color scheme to OCTAN colors, (red white & green) plus I added a truck of unknown origin from 2014 (I think my brother may originally have built it.) I'm not 100% sure where it came from as it's been on my computer for so long. This gas station has eight retro-style stand-up pumps, and three lanes for cars to sit while pumping gas. As a side note, this part should go where the 2 x 4 x 3 brick is above the door while two of these 1 x 4 tiles should go on the stand-up sign. The model's rear swings open to reveal the the clock, four-flavor soda fountain, and the attendant's desk. Their is also a storage area under the soda fountain. The back of the model features a rear exit. I think my brother may originally have built this truck, but I'm not 100% sure where it came from as it's been on my computer for about three years. The rear of the truck. The driver's doors open, and so do all four storage compartments. The complete LDD file is available here, if you want it. Remember: Comments, Question & Complaints are always welcome! EDIT 1/9/17: added new pictures and an updated ldd file with tanker truck.
  4. I finally found some room to do a full service gas station and automatic car wash.
