    Hardwin's Smithy

A fun build for the ABC’s of Castle, over on Classic-Castle. The idea is to pick a castle word that starts with any letter, build it and then post it (in alphabetical order). For my first contribution, I did the letter ‘B’, which stands for blacksmith. The blacksmith shop lifts off the base for easy play-ability, and features a full interior, as well as hinging walls for easy access. Inspiration for the wall texturing goes to Rod Gillies. Hardwin the smithy is always kept busy at his work, with all the local farmers coming to him for their tools and when their horses need shoeing. He's also known for his fine armor and weapons that he makes when not occupied with other tasks. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

    Nordheim Armory

The 5th module of my large collab with Isaac, for BrickFair Virginia 2016. See the others: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. The Nordheim Armory supplies the Nordheim Watch with their weapons and armor, in addition to storing to storing many of the weapons for the bustling city, in case of attack. It also houses a small forge area outside, where the weapons are made. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated
  3. (I'm just going to go ahead and apologize profusely for the terrible quality of pictures. Once I find my big ol' camera things won't be so bad, and I can stop using my phone.) Jack Frost! Everyone knows him as the guy with the ice. The ice guy. But who knew that he's also a talented blacksmith, eh? He works for Santa to forge some quite magnificient golden pieces, using only the finest gold material infused with magical ice powers to create a hardened gold end result, be it a breastplate, a small statue, or a weapon. Since Santa quit giving gifts of gold to kids, as, obviously, the kid could sell it for thousands, Jack opened up a Shoppe, where all of his golden craft can be bought for pretty high prices, actually. Jack isn't a business man. He's a blacksmith. Look at it. A shoppe and forge. Also a truck and a furnace for melting down the imported gold. And if you really, really want to, there's one more picture of the truck on my Flickr. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
  4. This MOC was built by my 12 year old brother. the house has a full interior. Kendrick and our heroes have traveled to a famous dwarven blacksmith to buy armor so they can fight the dragon. Captain:hello young lad,is your father here? Boy:Yes, he is working in his shop, I'll tell him you're here. Captain:Thank you. Blacksmith:Hello, how may I be of service to you? Captain:As I'm sure you've heard, there is a dragon going throughout the lands attacking everything he sees. Blacksmith:Yes,I've heard but fortunately neither we nor our have people been attacked yet. Captain:Well, we have been sent on a mission to destroy him,and we are in need of the best quality armor which we here you make. Blacksmith:I'm honored! come see what I have. Captain:Very good selection! I'll take two full suits,a spear,a sword, and two shields. Blacksmith:Very well, is that all? Captain:I believe so,your services are greatly appreciated. Blacksmith:Your most welcome.Oh one more thing I've heard rumor that the dragon has been spotted near Gravensteen. Captain:Thank you very much, your information is most helpful! Blacksmith:I hope so. Goodbye and may you return victorious! Captain:Goodbye! And thank you once again for everything! More pictures here:link He would appreciate any C&C

    Daydelon Blacksmith

This is my phase 2 build for the House category in AoM. I'd like to receive UoP credit for: roofing (one of three) [Architecture], and manufacturing [Trade and Law]= 2 credits Surprisingly this is my first time building a medieval Blacksmith shop. It was a lot of fun and I think this is my best medieval house yet. As always there's a full interior and the door works. Every town needs a blacksmith, and Daydelon has a very good one. He's kept busy sharpening tools and swords as well as making new ones. More pictures can be seen here: link All Comments/Criticism appreciated

    Forges of Erebor WIP

Hey Lads! i tought i would share this WIP as i am very proud of it If you have seen The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug then you'll probably remember this It is based on one of the last scene's in Erebor The Dwarves lure Smaug the terrible deeper into the dwarven fortress Erebor, Thorin came up with the plan to make a structure, wich is made of gold (as gold attracts dragons) to trap Smaug and cover him in hot fluent gold! but for that he's going to need molten gold. so they arrive at the Forge's (settled deep in Erebor) Thorin insults Smaug so he gets angry... and blows fire! Now the Furnaces are alight and the plan can fold out... So here's the WIP Keep in mind that this is not the front entrance, it is a side entrance wich leads to the Gallery of the kings This is Thorin, im going to make a scene where the dwarves fight against Smaug (Balin throws bombs, Bilbo pulls a lever for water etc) But to make that scene im going to have to wait until October 2014, a lot of cool sets are coming out and the biggest one features a molded Smaug! and my guess would be also Lake town clothes Bilbo, Dori, Bifur, Dwalin, Balin and others. until then im just gonna finish the MOC This is the furnace, i wil add a lot of fire Light it up up up... on fire! One of the carts where Bifur and Gloin land in, im looking for a good place for them Dwarf head WIP, I will make a scene where water comes out of its mouth A little gap, to look inside Balin's Bomb making area! Overview So i hope you like it! this is just the meager start but i think it's starting to look like the real deal, i will add a LOT more! i'll keep you updated See ya lads UPDATE: So lads! New features are added! So the door is updated, with a nice mosaic on top it represents the forge and all the hard work the dwarf's put in it (the mosaic is not completely finished) Here you see Bifur in his minecart (not final position) I don't really know what i wanted this to be, It looks very dwarvish And here's an overview! Well i hope you like it I'll keep ya updated lads See ya - Kevkipo
  7. Here we are: Steve the Dwarf's forge. After the arriving of Alexander Vandangant and the arriving of upcoming war's news, the council of Hidden Garden decided to rebuild the village as it was once, before going in ruins. The forge is an essential part of the village and it was one of the first part to be reconstructed. This freebuild will be part of Avalonian Task 4 - Historican Settlements in the category Craftsmen/Merchant - Arms & Armor: Blacksmith. As a part of the Doctorate of Historica Programm I'd like to claim 1 point for manufacturing. C&C are always welcome, Enjoy!
