[Factions Ep. 8 - Cat A] [T10 - Kessel - CE] A run to Kessel

*Your entry has earned 8 XP* Kessel, the name said it all. If ever there was a planet known for its ill repute it was here. Spice. Slavery. Corruption. Kessel was synonymous with these. During the Imperial incursion of Mandalore, many were taken and offloaded as workers to the mines here. It was time to investigate and free the captives. Additionally, rumours abound of stolen treasures being amassed on Kessel. Amongst this, we’d uncovered reports of ancient Jedi and Mandalorian artefacts such as Holocron’s and Beskar, stolen and hoarded long ago. But this mission required detailed planning and a small team was tasked by the Duchess herself to extend our protectorate further, we’d been oppressed as a people and a culture before and so we would help others where we can. In the capital, Sundari, preparations are well under way as we join the team in preparation for their journey on to Kessel. A mix of disciplines, the select team covered all bases - Trackers and scouts, heavy hitters, pilots, mechanics, informants and droids. We’d only be heading there once and we’d get the job done first time. Without fanfare, an open hangar is where we find a chaos of activity, in readiness for the shuttle to take them to Kessel... -

Hey guys, I know I've said that my next MOC is a Solo: a Star Wars Story MOC but I build this one yesterday and I want to upload the SOLO MOC later ( because of spoilers). So I want to show you my newest creation: It is a Midi scale AT-M6 Walker on Crait. My target as it to build it in midi scale with many details, because I don't have enough bricks to build a UCS one. The ground was very umpromted and not planed.. I Build it only because white background alone looks noring. So I hope you like my little walker, what do you mean? Hey guys, Yes, I'm back! After a long time I had to study for important exams I had time to build a small vignette. It is one of my favourite scenes of Episode VIII so I want to build it. Karin was sent to Tatooine to make a deal with a promising pod racer. He was constructing a pod with huge engines and required assistance in acquiring some parts. Flaren proved himself useful again for providing them, but everything did not go as planned ... Karin: Hello Reed, this is Flaren and he got the parts you needed. Flaren: Yes, here are the power cells for your linking mechanism. It can link together bigger engines than you could ever build. Karin: I see there's still a lot happening around here. So where is your pod racer? Reed: Jo vidi, grota un chapa mundi hasa et montarena. Karin: What do you mean the other engine arrives tomorrow? Tomorrow is the race you idiot! Reed: Nos vonyari, un chapa et punti. Karin: Well it's you who should be worried! You have to win this race. And why are there so many bets on your brother? I have the feeling we're making the deal with the wrong guy ... I'll have to make sure he does not finish the race! Reed: Min brudi? Ponto mus ti shokku? Karin: No he doesn't need to die, but it's up to you. You can still convince him not to enter the race. Now get moving, you still have a lot to do! And you better not cross me tomorrow. Reed: <slurred> Rumpha ... Karin: <leaving> I did not understand that, but I guess it's better for you ... I hate the midnight photoshootings. I'm a fresh recruit, which is why I'm piloting some cheap Bantha-class skiff instead of shooting down rebels in a TIE. SoNE-EpVIII-Frbld1-Pic2 by kuatdriveyards17, on Flickr Apparently there's some important near-planet-wide operation underway on Tatooine which no one cared to brief me about, so forces are being constantly deployed to numerous distant outposts. It's not much and it is by no means self-sufficient- the only permanent structures are a comm tower, a defensive turret and a holotable- which is why troops and supplies must be brought every morning and returned to base by night. Hopefully it won't be long until we actually get involved in this massively important operation that way I can actually feel like I'm making a difference as opposed to just ensuring the Empire can communicate more efficiently over a few square kilometers of sand.
