  1. Since the 4th of June 2020 (so 2 days ago from this post), the website "mocpages.com" no longer exist! Mocpages has - without any media news/final warning from its creator Sean Kenny - simply been deleted. The plug has been pulled and there are no hints on mocpages.com ever being restored again. If you search for it now, you wont even find the official link that lead to it. It is now listed on "crunshbase" as a website that (used to) run. Many users left mocpages a few years ago for flickr.com, yet for those who remained and still actively posted on this website this certainly is a shock i believe. If data wasnt backed up, pictures saved etc - it seems all that data is lost forever now. Immediately after its deletion, TLCB posted an article that really sums it up well. Its worth the read. I just want to spread those news here on this Forum so you people are aware that this former milestone for the AFOL community with fond memories of contests and discussions has silently passed away... Apparently most people didnt even notice (yet) since i didnt find a Post on any AFOL forum yet. Feel free to share your fond memories you've had on mocpages.com!
  2. Previously on 24 Mafia... Officer Skinner was having a nice cup o'joe around 10:30am when she was confronted... "Well that's a nice hammer you have there. I can barely see you against these walls. We really should repaint," she said. "Oh be quiet. You're in my way," the figure said before bashing Skinner's head in. Jack heard the noise and rushed upstairs to the scene. By 11am, they had found that Skinner was loyal CTU. "Chloe, did we get that on the security cam?" Jack shouted. "The moles have taken down all cameras. We can't see anything." There was a pause. "You know you can just come down here and talk since we're in the same building, no need for an earpiece?" "Sunnovabich," he muttered. Jack then went and addressed the group. "So as you know, Skinner was one of us. We need to find out who the moles are. WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME! I don't care how it's interpreted from the outside. I just gave you an order and I'd like you to follow it." NPCs Jack Bauer, Head of CTU Chloe O'Brian, Senior Analyst Players Agent Moore, Secret Service (Kwatchi) Alfred Drew, Analyst (Zepher) Barry Andropov, Analyst (Kristel) Benson, Go-Team (Legomonorailfan) Bob, Janitor (Bob) Diane Greene, Senator Greene's wife (fhomess) Dr. James, Nurse (Tariq J) Jason White, Go-Team (Kintobor) Kaster, Inmate (Lady K) Officer Lewis, Security Guard (jamesn) Riley Marshall, Analyst (jluck) Senator Larry Greene (Khscarymovie4) Wilson Goddard, Go-Team (Asphalt) Zip, Go-Team (mostlytechnic) Deceased Officer Skinner, Head of CTU Security (mediumsnowman), killed Night 1. Alignment: CTU (Town) The Rules 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the CTU (Town) or the Moles (Scum). To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Scum, while the Scum needs to outnumber the Town. Third-party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting is mandatory. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. Failure to vote will incur a 2-vote penalty the following game day. 3. A game "Hour"/day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached after 72 hours. After the "Hour"/day has been concluded, an "Off-hour"/night stage will commence, which will last 48 hours. "Off-hour"/night actions must be sent to the host in the first 20 hours of the "Off-hour"/night stage. 3.5. Players may not target the same player two nights in a row, and may not target themselves. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the "Off-hour"/night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next "Hour"/day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to or from you in PM with the game host, or in PM with any other players. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. 8. You may not edit your posts. 9. You must post in every day thread. 10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. 11. Violation of any of the above rules will result in a 5 vote penalty for the first offence, and death on your second offence. 12. There are no hints or clues in the day/night images. 13. The Town automatically loses if they have not lynched all Scum/Evil players by the end of the "Day" (essentially 12 game days and 12 game nights).
  3. So most everyone i've seen likes to add drive to their front axles. I'm having trouble building a dead front axle for my truck. I'm no good at steering geometry either. Here's what i've come up with so far. Right now it works for what it is, but could use improvement. If anyone has any ideas or links, please share. I'll try to add some pics.
  4. Hello, I am reaching out to all 12v train users. I recently purchased and received a 12v train (the 7725). Unfortunately the motor is dead, I put it on the track after building the whole model and setting all the track up to find it not moving. At first I thought maybe if it hadn't run in awhile it would need a little help. That didn't work so I tried it by just connecting a wire to the motor itself and gently moved the wheels. The motor started to produce a light smoke so I immediately shut the power off and haven't tried anything since. I did see some life though at one point, it did move about 1/16 of a turn at best and I could hear it trying to move. If the seller is cooperative hopefully I can work something out with him. If not I was hoping many people on this forum could lead me in the right direction. Here is what I know about the motor: It looks to have been opened before. It is the version with the separate bogie pin. From what I can see there is some hair spun around the axles. I am wondering if I need to completely give up on the motor or if there is a way to fix or replace just the motor inside. I am really lost and would love any help that someone could give me. I looked for awhile but I haven't found a post about someone having the same problem as me. Even if someone has a broken lego casing for the motor but there electrics still work I could be interested in that as well. Thanks, -RailCo
  5. I'll call LEGO customer service in the morning (actually later today, yes I am up late ). Hoping someone here has a quick fix. I have a new EV3 brick with rechargeable battery. Recharged the battery while attached to the brick, the brick was initially on, then auto-powered off about half way through. Now, the brick will not turn on - the center button does not move nor can it be depressed - no 'click' when pressed, left/right up/down back buttons all 'click' as normal. Any thoughts on how to reset or what's up. I get the same result regardless if rechargeable or AA alkaline batteries are used.
  6. https://mmos.com/new...down-in-october Did any one even play it any more. I remember it being F2P, so I think this might be a reason its failing I need one more fig to finish the game and then I went to log in and it said I needed to pay to play. The fact that lego made a game free that you need to buy the figs was ok. But then they go and surprise us with it being pay to play the game and buy figs. I think that turned every one off. (the other thing that bugged me was they reset all the progress I made when I was in the closed beta so it "would be fair to new players" as the lego rep told me) EDIT Oh its being discussed in the rumors topic I see. Can staff just merge it if this is unneeded
  7. George and Steven sneak in to the Brathmor slave camp to free the slaves. Thought i would try my hand at something new. Inspired by Nick Runia's work. Should i revisit Castle at a later time?
  8. Hey all, I haven't had the pleasure of browsing these forums as much as I would like, but I do stop in periodically to post the occasional creation. Here is my latest vignette, an entry for the MOCOlympics over on MOCpages. The category for this round was "apocalypse now" in which I was required to build the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. This is my take on the category. Enjoy! Have a great day, -Blake More pictures can be found on the MOCpage: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/371276 The Four Horsemen by Blake's Baericks, on Flickr
