  1. MOC]#94-3 Mouri Detective Agency, Japan Office Building 3rd Floor It has been a month since I posted the 2nd floor of the building. Because I spent so much time creating the animation of the 3rd-floor video. The 3rd floor is Mouri Detective Agency based on Detective Conan animation. I put a lot of interior detail to match the one in Detective Conan animation. Welcome to check out my stop-motion animation: More MOC on my homepage: https://www.bricksboy.com/moc
  2. A few years ago I built a Conan the Barbarian MOC. I've always enjoyed the character in various forms of media and when I saw those snake looking helmets knew I would use them in something like this. This was built in early 2019 - I was contemplating how to detail the capitals on the columns and then Mark of Falworth posted his Fall of Cyrene MOC and I immediately used the technique I saw there, also mixing it up a bit. This MOC has set on the shelf in the Lego room for 3 plus years and I finally took some photos. Conan and the Snake Cult 1 by Magma X, on Flickr Conan and the Snake Cult 2 by Magma X, on Flickr
  3. Recently, after some redecorating of my display shelf, I realized how much the Dewback from the Star Wars Cantina set fits to the typical sword & sorcery imagery in the style of Frank Frazetta (think Conan the Barbarian). So I grabbed my Barbarian Minifig, the two Clancees from the Raid Zeppelin as Snake-People, built a patch of desert, grabbed the whale bones from the Deep Sea Submarine and set up a couple of scenes. Some Orcs joined in as well. I hope you enjoy the pictures. I certainly enjoyed taking them: It didn't took long and our Barbarian got some assistance: After the Snake-People were defeated, A group of Orc tried to capture her! An idea which turned out as a bad one It was quite a challenge to pose the Minifigs in a way you can see their faces without making it look too staged and unrealistic. To create the proper pulp-cover feel I also put a slight sepia-effect on the pictures.
  4. Hello to everyone! Today I would like to introduce my last speedwork. Why speedwork? Because I designed it in a spare hour and built in 30 minutes. I'm a big fan of manga and japanese animation and I really love what Miyazaki sensei has gifted to us. All of his works deserve more than a vision to discover new meanings and details. A couple of weeks ago I decided to design Indastria, the tower of the sun in which is set a good part of the anime Mirai Shounen Conan. I am particularly fond of this Tv series, having seen it when I was still a child. It is an "architecture-style" realization, and I think that it complied well the shape and proportions of what's seen in the anime. I'm going to propose on Lego Ideas, so if you like, rate it.
