Hello Corvette and Speed Champions fans, The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) is the third generation of the Corvette sports car that was produced from 1967 until 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 to 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. It set new sales records with 53,807 produced for the 1979 model year. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only two vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the front bumper, the emblematic side grills, the side view mirrors, the embedded tail lights, the fuel cap etc... I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The instructions includes some modification ideas, for example front blinker and alternate side grill, see picture 6, and luggage rack, see picture 5. The model has space for two minifigures with helmets or small hairs. Hello Corvette, A-Team and Speed Champions fans, the Chevrolet Corvette C4, colloquially known as the 'Vette, is a two-door, two-passenger sports car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet across more than 60 years of production and eight design generations. The fourth-generation was the first complete redesign of the Corvette since 1963 and it is known for its sleek look. It was produced from 1983 to 1996. This color scheme of this model is based Faceman's 1984 Corvette from "The A-Team" which is an American action-adventure television series that ran on NBC from January 1983 to March 1987 about former members of a fictitious United States Army Special Forces unit. Building instructions are available on the following links: It is a studless build in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style. I wanted to create a sleek model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer to minimize the use of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore this model include only two vehicle registration plate stickers. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the emblematic color scheme with the red and black stripes on the sides, the glass hatchback, the side-view mirrors, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the iconic rear side with the vehicle registration plate, here there is a half stud offset. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures. I suggest to use small hairs. Without the seats minifigures with bigger hairs can be used too if they are leaned back. Hello Chevy and Speed Champions fans, The 1957 Chevrolet is a car that was introduced by Chevrolet in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range Two-Ten, and the One-Fifty. It is a popular and sought after classic car. Its image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. This model is based on one of my favorite Matchbox as a child. It can be built either with fixed doors, or with openable doors. I personally prefer the fixed door version (Speed Champions style) as it is more sturdy and there are no half plate thick gaps below the doors. I minimized the use of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the brick built flame decoration, the emblematic front bumper with the vehicle registration plate and front lights, the side view mirrors and the rearview mirror, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the brick built number on the trunk. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures on the front seats. There are some space before the rear seats too, but it is enough only for a minifigure without legs. 10304 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Mod

Hi to everyone, I want to introduce you my little Mod. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 This is a modification of 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 set. I really liked the original set, but I wanted an all black SS version for myself, so I made it. As soon as I saw the set, I immediately noticed the wrong angle of steering column and corrected it. LEGO keeps releasing 18+ sets with lots of visible parts in bright colors that I never liked. I tried my best to replace these parts with more suitable ones. And of course wide aggressive tires always look better :) I made high resolution instructions which exactly repeats steps numbers from original instructions, so you can easily compare if you want to. Obviously, some steps have a different number and colors of parts. Modifications include: - Steering column with better angle (more realistic) - Detailed door panels - Wide tires for a sportier look - Side markers - Exhaust pipes had to be replaced due to tire width - All visible bright colors are changed to black or dark grey - Tinted windshields, black grille, tiled floor, more realistic cups on wheels - Custom Vector Graphic stickers I made two PDFs (Stickers): A4 size for EU and Letter size for US. I wanted to make an old custom truck car hauler based on 1948 COE, my model isn't a replica of any particular truck, I searched some and then I make this one based on several different trucks I saw. it's 9wide'sh and can fit any Speed Champions 8 wild car. The cabin was a huge challenge, to many angles in such a small space, yes it is fragile, but it wasn't built to be played. Hello Big Lebowski, Corvette and Speed Champions fans, do you remember the hilarious The Big Lebowski scene? Walter Sobchak (Dude's best friend) destroys a brand new, red Chevrolet Corvette C4 (1985) with a crowbar. This car, colloquially known as the 'Vette, is a two-door, two-passenger sports car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet across more than 60 years of production and eight design generations. The fourth-generation was the first complete redesign of the Corvette since 1963 and it is known for its sleek look. It was produced from 1983 to 1996. An other inspiration came from one of my favorite Matchbox as a child, and that color scheme will be built soon too :). This car could be a nice addition to the set 76903 "Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Race Car and 1968 Chevrolet Corvette". A-Team color scheme is possible too :). Hi everybody, new guy here! I'll admit, I've been reading and following Eurobricks for years, more years than I can count fingers on my hand. I officially signed up a couple months back, but have yet to post anything until now. I wanted to have something interesting to show you guys before I did, and now I do (hopefully). Allow me to present my custom LEGO Speed Champions MOC's! First of all, I love the Speed Champions sets. As a car guy and a LEGO fan, these are the best of both worlds. That being said, the designs leave a lot to be desired, which is also part of why I love them so much. I see an opportunity to exercise some creativity and do some hands-on building to make them as accurate to their real counterparts as possible. It starts with widening these models to 8-studs. That makes them too large for City-scale, but improves the look dramatically. Plus, with the added dimensions, you can put more detail into the models and get the proportions of auxiliary features (such as lights, exhaust, grille, etc.) correct. Truth be told, many of these had been in the works for almost a year, the first wave, that is. Most of the second wave is still in the works, though the Mustang and Corvette you see above are almost done. I've been constantly tweaking, retweaking, and fine-tuning my designs and I feel like I'm never fully satisfied with any of them. Some of the cars you see above haven't been fully completed. Some of the other Speed Champions are not shown in the photo because they're still half-built. In time, I will eventually show all of them. Today, I'll be showing one that has been completed to my liking: the Porsche 918 Spyder. With these models, I stick to a few rules that I set for myself: One, use as few of the stickers as possible. Stickers can only give so much depth; therefore, brick-built designs will look more authentic. Two, no custom parts or custom stickers. In the occasion that I do use stickers, I only use what's given on the sticker sheet. Three, no illegal building techniques. I want these to resemble a model that LEGO themselves would put out as a set. The common opinion is that the Porsche 918 is the dullest of the first wave of Speed Champions. I quite enjoyed tooling with this one, and it was actually easier than expected. I ditched the stickers for the front and rear intakes. I used stickers for the badges, fuel caps, and headlights. Technically, I could've gone with trans-clear cheese slopes for the headlights, but it didn't look quite right to me. I'm not a fan of the Speed Champions window/cockpit pieces for doing 8-wide builds. This is a Spyder, so it wasn't too hard to come up with a brick-built substitute. Without the window pieces, I'm now able to fit two minifigures side-by-side. It works because the construction of the sides is relatively simple and not very bulky. Being a convertible also helps too. I went with the brown leather plastic interior because I think it looks very classy. I try to recreate the interiors as accurately as possible. Side mirrors are an extra touch for added realism. This model also features a removable front trunk (frunk?) that can fit a couple of the suitcase pieces. You can see it in the short little video I have below! So, that's it for my first post! Let me know what you guys think! I'm always open to constructive criticism and if you have any alternate building techniques in mind, I'd love to hear about them! [MOC] Lego Technic Chevrolet Impala

Hello, this is my new creation - '64 Chevrolet Impala! It has several functions: driving by Buggy motor, steering with Servo motor, opening doors and a working steering wheel. It has no differential, so it can drift very well with some tape. All is powered and controlled by BuWizz. Also, Technic guys are a perfect fit for this scale! I made this model in two days or so, so it isn't that detailed, but I tried to make it recognizable. I hope you will like it! :) Video link: Photoes: Thank you! -

Hello there! American all-wheel drive pickup from GMC. The model is built as a continuation of the Chevy K30 Big Dooley published in 2019. Of the main differences - the muzzle of an earlier generation, a shorter base, the design of the frame and bridges was changed. Planetary hubs and CV joints are used in driveshafts from 42099. I don't really mind stickers in sets too much. Obviously I prefer (and greatly value) prints instead, but stickers make sense to me, especially when introducing 20 new prints would make a Speed Champions set impossibly expensive. What I DON'T like is stickers being used to represent features that could, and should, be brick-built instead. I feel as if the early SC sets were particularly guilty of making headlights, taillights, exhaust pipes, vents, and all sorts of physical details out of stickers instead, and it's a real bummer. However, when stickers are only used to represent a livery or manufacturer branding or whatever, that's perfectly fine and even exciting to me. So, having explained my personal thoughts about stickers in SC sets, I'd like to show off a few of my own MOCs that I have designed custom graphics for. In all of these cars, the graphics are PURELY for liveries and advertisements and such. All physical details are still brick-built and the cars work perfectly fine with no graphics at all. Also, I do in several cases use STAMPS (STickers Across Multiple PartS). I know this is contentious and I personally dislike it in official sets since it makes taking them apart extremely annoying, but I don't typically take apart my own MOCs when they're completed, so I don't mind using such a thing on my own builds. Again, just explaining my process and apologizing in advance if you dislike the idea. First up is my Hoonicorn V1. You can see the complete, non-stickered version of my MOC here. This is a really popular model for Speed Champions MOCers because LEGO built their own version of this to give to Hoonigan Racing's Ken Block (driver of the real car) as a gift, so we all had the same inspiration and template to work from. As a result, many people make sticker sheets to make the LEGO model match the branding on the real car. I decided to do something different and design LEGO-centric in-universe branding to put on the car instead. This thing is full of references to LEGO, which I will detail: HOONIGAN replaced with HOONIKITTY. FORD logo replaced with the classic 1950s LEGO logo, recolored The skull on the roof is replaced with the classic LEGO skull. The crossed bones behind it are from the latest version of the Jolly Roger flag from 21322: Pirates of Barracuda Bay. Monster Energy branding is replaced with Vita RUSH branding, which is LEGO's in-universe sport beverage company (and racing team sponsor). Toyo Tires branding is replaced with Nutrax Tyres, a brand that was advertised on the red car in 8198: Ramp Crash. Smooth Oil and Heavy Cargo are brand advertised on 42041: Race Truck. Spark is advertised on the side of 75884: Ford Mustang Fastback. ENgyne and TOOLS are advertised on the side of ]60218: Desert Rally Racer. The pony badge in the grill is a LEGO horse in profile. I had a lot of fun with that, so I decided to do another. I had built a gasser variant of my '64 Ford Fairlane last year, and it seemed like a natural choice to turn into even more of a show car. This one doesn't really have any special or unique references. I used the Smooth Oil brand again, and I added Octan Racing and "Spin Wear," another racing gear brand from the Racers Tiny Turbos theme. Finally, I wanted to do another gasser to race against that one. The problem is, I hadn't actually BUILT another gasser yet! In fact, I still haven't, but I did finish designing one, at least. Consider this, then, a MOC reveal as well: I made a 1963 Chevy Nova gasser in dark azure, then I made some graphics for it. More simple, this time - less of a show car and more of a serious drag racing machine. Like the Hoonicorn, I filled this one with LEGO references, too. The car's number, 541, is a reference to 5541: Blue Fury. The name "Well Played" is a reference to the origin of the name LEGO, "Leg Godt" = "Play Well." Brick Street Custom is a speed shop from the Tiny Turbos line - 8154: Brick Street Customs The axle company, Cross, is advertised on the legs of 71021-13: Race Car Guy, which itself is a reference: "Cross axle" is the shape of a Technic axle. The other two part companies, "Cams - Red Bird" and "Pistons - Rally," are brands that I made up in reference to the first sets that the cam and piston pieces appeared in: 5591: Mach II Red Bird Rig and 8850: Rally Support Truck, respectively.

The car will be using: two XL motors, one M motor, two receivers, one LIPO battery box. It will have no gearbox, and it will be based off this picture. LEGO version of a 1963 Chevrolet Impala I choosed for dimensions that would fit in a city lay-out (so not the Joker Lowrider dimensions for example). But that means I had to make some comprimises as I wanted to avoid to end up with a block on wheels. This is my first MOC-car since my childhood. I am happy with the result :D There are some stuff I would have done different if the right bricks existed (or if I had them in my collection) Sorry if the bad background/lighting is a bit disturbing, The perfect room to take pictures is under renovation, so I had to find an alternative, which was not easy given the dark and gloomy days nowadays...

Inspired by the Speed Champions cars. Last year I built a car showroom to show them off. Al's Autos is built on 3 large baseplates. On the left baseplate the blue and white sign has doubled sided brick plate writing and rotates on a Technic turntable. The showroom has a roller door entry behind the office on the left. It is fully tiled inside and lit with PF LEDs. On the right baseplate the brown turntable also rotates on a Technic turntable. The footpath is designed to match up to the Modular footpaths. My own creation cars are a Pick Up truck with removable Camper. A Ford GT40 reverse engineered from a LEGO YouTube movie. The black Pontiac is a KITT replica and has a working red LED scanner in the front. Next was a service centre / workshop for the showroom.The back section is a parts department. On the right are two service bays. The front one has a working Technic pneumatic hoist. Also PF LED lighting. The shipping containers can fit a Speed Champions car or spare parts. To keep the cars clean I next built a car wash. This has a working Technic based linear actuator to move the brushes back and forward over the car. So after a long day. It's off to the Drive In movies. The diner has a projection room, kitchen, counter, seating and toilet. My own creation cars are two NYPD police cars with working light bars. A yellow NY taxi. The two Porsche 911's are modified with brick headlights and door handles. The ambulance has working LED light bars, headlights and taillights One day I will get around to doing close up and interior photos. -

REVIEW - 42093 - CHEVROLET CORVETTE ZR1 INTRODUCTION We do see a lot of licensed Technic sets lately. In that regard, this set is not special. What is special, is the scale of this model. At first glance, you might not notice it, but this is a rather small set, still packing lots of details. At a price of € 39,99 you basically can't go wrong. Let's see if that is indeed the case. But before we do that, take a look at what we are aiming for. This review might be less detailed than usual, but time was limited. Sorry about that. I do hope you enjoy it anyway! SET INFORMATION Number: 42093 Title: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Theme: Technic Released: 2019 Part Count: 579 Box Weight: 748 gram Box Dimensions: 35,3 cm x 18,9 cm x 9,0 cm Set Price (RRP): € 39,99 Price per Part: € 0,069 Links: Brickset, Bricklink THE BOX CONTENTS OF THE BOX The box contains: 1x Booklet 1x Sticker sheet 6x Unnumbered bags BOOKLET STICKER SHEET BAGS HIGHLIGHTED PARTS TECHNIC MUDGUARD 9 x 3 x 2 This new part is the slightly smaller variant of the big mudguard panel we see quite often nowadays. I am looking forward to seeing this part appear in other official sets and/or MOCs. One can get very creative with it. 11 x 3 CURVED PANELS I overlooked the fact that these panels are new too. Thanks to @Ngoc Nguyen for pointing it out. WHEELS AND RIMS At first, these parts don't seem so special, but they kinda are. The tires only appear in the London Bus and the rims are new in black. Both slightly smaller than the rims in and tires we often see in the pull-back racer sets. 20T DOUBLE BEVEL GEAR WITH CLUTCH This gear first appeared in the Bugatti Chiron and it's good to see it pop-up in another set. Quote from the Chiron review; it's basically the same as the regular 20T bevel gear, but it has a pin hole, instead of axle hole. And it has clutches on both sides. PART LIST I was surprised to see two pages, for the number of parts (579). This is because the smaller size of the booklet. THE BUILD The blue clutch gear is used to connect the HoG steering to the rear axle. The differential is (indirectly) connected to the crankshaft. Since this is a smaller scale car, it uses a different fake engine design. Here you can see the crankshaft, lifting the cylinders. The bottom of the chassis...no surprises here. The left-over parts. COMPLETED MODEL There has been some debate about this car, and its resemblance to the real car. Obviously, it's hard to get it entirely right, but I do think the designer delivered a remarkably fine model! Especially with the scale in mind. If I have to name one negative thing, it would not be the front of the car. It would be the doors, or lack thereof. The side panels don't open up. Admittedly, the rear of the car shows a more characteristic Corvette look than the front. Just enough stickers to add some details to the car. Comparison between the front and rear. Bottom view of the entire chassis. What I absolutely love about this model is its working V8 engine. The cylinders are actually moving, and they are clearly visible. This adds a lot of value for me. Here are some extra pictures showing the Corvette in all its glory. B-MODEL Not the first time we have seen a Hotrod B-model, but who doesn't love a Hotrod?! It looks interesting enough to give it a go. SUMMARY This summary will be short and simple. I love everything about this model. Given the scale, the designer really made this model stand out. And for 40 euros you get a very fun little model. That boils down to only 6,5 eurocent per part, which is cheap. This is the perfect gift if you are looking for a reasonably priced Technic set. Two big thumbs up for this set! I sure hope we get more sets like this, which obviously is to be expected. PROS Price! HoG steering Working V8 Design New mudguard panels New rims and tires CONS Doors don't open (minor gripe) SCORE How do I rate this set? 9 DESIGN Perfect design, given the scale. 7 BUILDING EXPERIENCE Enjoyable, but nothing really special. 7 FEATURES The working V8 engine is very cool. 7 PLAYABILITY It does what a car does, with HoG steering. 8 PARTS The new panels and tires/rims can be interesting for MOC builders. 9 VALUE FOR MONEY Can't go wrong for this price. 7,8 GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY FINAL WORDS Thanks you for reading this review. Hi Guys! I finished my new model. I didn't hold on to any real car, but it is similar to the old classic Chevrolet Bell Air / Impala. There's nothing to open, it's just a riding model. Drive / Turn = standard L-Motor / Servo. There is a 1:1 transfer from the L-motor to the differential. photos: FLICKR -

I made this model a long time ago, and I just figured that I'll share it here too. Features: PF RC driving by 2 XL motors PF RC steering by a servo motor PF RC opening doors by 2 M motors working front PF lights Independent suspensions on all wheels Openable hood Working fake V8 engine The white tubes for the body are not official LEGO parts, I bought them in a local supermarket in the party equipment section. The video shows the old version of the model which did not have the doors motorized and the back slightly different. The pictures with white background are the new version. Hey Guys, Im gonna post my Progress on this Moc in this Topic. So stay tuned! Let´s start with some Specs: Chevrolet C10 1972 Pickup-Truck Suspension: The back Suspension, is pretty rare. Well i have not seen something like this before.. It's like a triangulated link axle Front Suspension is a simple Independent Suspension. The original has a 350cc V8 My moc will Feature: The same suspensions as many original Details as possible RC Here's the original car: Colour is not decided yet.. Progress on the cab, still much to do with that front P.S.: The headlights were pretty hard to do... Comments and Critism are appreciated! :D
