MOC - Snow White Cottage

My LEGO version of the Snow White and the 7 dwarfs cottage (based on Thomas Kinkade depiction). I watched the movie when I was a kid and I vividly remember how I wanted to live in a cottage in the woods after seeing this one! Although I rushed the build a bit, it was fun to build because I haven't build something "castle" for a long time and I wanted to try some new stuff like the roof or the newer shades of greens or play around with the vegetation using odd pieces and parts. Still some things didn't came out as I planned but I wanted to finish this to make room for other projects. Thanks to Markus for coming everyday to my desk and give me some hints and motivation! :D Hope you guys like it! Just like a doll's house

MOC - Café Shop

For many years I've been a fan of doozy models and have a bunch of them pinned on my Pinterest account! And finally I was able to build one of them: the little charming European Café Shop! Managed to put a lot of details and tried a few techniques that I had in mind for a while but also some new stuff! What’s your favourite detail? Mine is definitely the small chair and the lamps! Thanks for the millionth time to Markus for all the hints and suggestions! Hope you guys like it Café shop
3. Hi guys! It’s been almost 9 months since I last posted something here! Been very busy with work and this is been ready for a few months but I was only able to upload it now. Loved the cartoons when I was a kid and really liked the first Transformers movie from 2007, so I decided to build bumblebee, which is by far my favourite Autobot! This was quite a cheral months as it is way out of my comfort zone. For those attending the Skaerbaeck Fan Weekend in a couple of weeks, if you would like to see it, it will be there! :) Thanks to Markus Rollbühler for the incentive and the tips :) And no, it doesn't transform into a beautiful Camaro! Hope you guys like it! Bumblebee Bumblebee Bumblebee
4. After fulfilling his contracted task on the enchanted forests of the west region, Adam and Terryn started their return trip to Albion. They’ve been riding for 3 days and are now on BlueWater Castle region. The castle and the surrounding lands belongs to Sir Bridger and his beautiful daughter, Lady Melissa. Adam, but specially Terryn, are tired and in need for a resting place. Maybe Sir Bridger would welcome them on his castle to spend the night? Perhaps they could even get a chance to meet Lady Melissa and her legendary beauty… Hey guys, I was going to post these MOC on History Forum, but I thought it would fit well on the West Region of avalonia, my current Guild as it is home to mighty stone castles. Also, can I somehow put the castle on Avalonian map? Is that possible? I consider myself a castle builder, but I have never build a castle in the real sense of the word, so I thought it was about time I build one. As I’m working on a big display to my LUGs expositions (Comunidade 0937) and having access to a lot more parts I could go a little wild. :) This MOC stands on a footprint of 4x3 (48x48) baseplates and is more than 3 feet high. I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do since the beginning, but of course some modifications and adjustments were made along the build, such as the positioning of the various towers on the main walls or the shape of the half-timbered sections. A few facts and thoughts that I would like to share: - Its viewable from the 4 sides and completely modular so it can easily be transported. - Despite having access to more parts, I still had some limitations. So, for instance, I had to use more LBG 1x2 plates and 1x2 masonry dark tan bricks on the walls that I wanted but nevertheless I think it turned out Ok all the same. - The colors used on the landscape terrain are not the ones that I would like to use, but again, due to its size, I had to use more common ones. - I build this at home and took me about 250 hours in 50 or so days to build this MOC. - I have no idea how many parts it’s made off! If someone as a rough idea, please let me now. But I can tell you that just on the landscape alone and on the castle interiors I used around 10000 2x4 bricks of various colors and on the walls I used at least 4000 round 1x1 bricks. - The landscape was not my priority as it will sure suffer some changes and adding’s when integrated on the full display so I spend just 5 days on it and is not yet as I want him to look. - Also, the trees are somewhat simple as I need them to be brickbuild (for easier transportation and also due to time restrictions) but I kind like them that way. - Naturally, I’m a BIG noob in taking good pics and these are total crap (overexposed, poor lighting, poor focus). Taking reasonable ones was a huge #$#/&%$ pain and in my opinion it looks so much better in person :) Hope you all like it. It sure was an immense fun to build these one :) I will try to upload more pics in a few days before I get this huge thing in card boxes :) BlueWater Castle BlueWater Castle BlueWater Castle

Nightmare Before Christmas

Hello everybody! Its been a while since I posted something but today I would like to share with you guys my latest two builds. Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my animated favorite movies so this was a pleasure to build Nightmare Before Christmas Nightmare Before Christmas Sleigh Hope you like it!
6. Hey everybody, this is my last build of the year and the last one for at least a few months as I've said in my flickr account a few days before I'll be moving to Billund on January. This build was actually started a few months ago but I never got the chance to finish it until now. And as I got a big chunk of my collection unsorted and my time is very limited right now, I didn't manage to get the results I wanted. A river was planned as well as a richer landscape and more leaves on the upper part. Anyway, hope you like it! :) Thoryn Arper Tree House Thoryn Arper Tree House Thoryn Arper Tree House
7. Hey everybody! I've been wanting to do a brickbuild figure for a long time and why not began with a pirate? Lots of inspiration from fabulous Vitreolum mocs. Hope you like it. Big Nose Bill Big Nose Bill

9. Many years ago, Earth passed thru a series of climatic and environment events that led to massive changes on the atmosphere and also on the earth surface composition. Lighter-than-air gases, such as helium or hidrogen became predominant and made some landmasses detached from the ground and start free floating on the skies. Most are huge, stunning and majestic, with waterfalls, rivers and entire towns. Others are small with just one or two houses and a few families. Inhabitants had to adapt and to evolve because huge chunks of the Earth surface were now drifting and floating. These islands are usually free-floating and may be directed by the whim of their inhabitants, whilst others may be permanently anchored. Basic resources like food and drinkable water are becoming scarce. Most people have to travel on rudimentary vehicles that float with the help of balloons so they can look for supplies and other necessities. Some even anchor other small floating islands to use them as crops fields and animal farms or just because they want to increase their property. Todaidh Beag is one of those islands. Holds Triroof Manor, home of Godfrey Morgan, his wife, Bella and his 2 sons, Cyrus and Malcumus. Cyrus and Malcumus often leave the island on their balloon boat to find food and supplies. Most of the times they endure bad weather, air pirates and other dangers. But they still have to do the trips to be able to survive and help their family. So guys, this is my latest build and I think this is a new favorite of mine. Even more then my Bluewater Castle as I think this one fits much more my building style. My latest castle builds were drifting to a more vibrant and colorful style that pleases me very much and this one is no exception. It’s not a steampunk build as it does not fit the bill entirely, but I like how it turned out. Anyway, I’m big fan of floating islands literature and stories and it was about time I made a MOC on that theme. I intend, if time and life allows, to build more on these theme. This thing is huge and it was the most challenging build so far. First I made the base with all the landscape and the house, etc. It was build on a very thick and strong base with lots of plates and 16x1 bricks. Then I made an oval technic frame in the shape of an inverted pyramid (I will post a pic or two of the frame later)with a core center of 2x4 bricks were the all landscape, house, etc stands on top. Perfectly balanced :) Inspiration from Life in the sky by Vladimir Kustuchek and the round tower part was from David Hensel latest build. It has lots of small details like the balloon boat, the harpoon to anchor smaller islands and other random stuff. If you want to see lots of details and small things please take a look at all the photos. I took a bunch :) Hope you like it. PS: yes, this is a Medium Azure roof. And I love this color :) The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag 10 11 The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag 20 (2) The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag The Floating Island of Todaidh Beag

MOC - Apartment life

Hey guys! I’ve lived almost of my adulthood in an isolated house, with neighbors’ houses at least 5 meters apart from mine. So, noise, loud music or the nice lady dog ruin my day by putting his dirty paws on my pants in tight corridors was never an issue. But life is life and a few years ago I moved to a nice apartment. It has his pros, but is has a LOT of cons either! So, reviving my very first MOC (my own living room) I decided to build this MOC on minifig scale. It’s dedicated to all the people who lives in apartments and now what I’m talking about :) The goal was to represent several different rooms. Inspiration came from a pic I saw on the internet a few months ago. Unfortunately I didn’t save the photo and can’t find it anymore, but I kept the idea and thought it would make a good MOC. It has a living room, a kitchen, a TV room, a laundry room, a home gym, an office and a bedroom. I didn’t put any minifigs because I wanted this MOC to focus only on the rooms itself. Again, if you would be so kind to tell me which room is your favorite, I would appreciate! :) Enjoy Apartment life Apartment life TV room Living room Home office Home Gym b Kitchen Bedroom Laundry
11. Hey Guys I've been wanting to do a ruins build for quite some time and thought that the mighty forest of Avalonia would be the perfect for it. Continuing his long journey trough Vanhorn enchanted forests, Adam manage to get a small boat to go up Green Lake river and get to the next village so he can get some supplies. Passing trough the lake he stumbles across an old watchtower, so old and decayed that a magnificent tree was able to grow from inside and the branches and leaves sprouts from every cranny and hole! He realizes then, that he must close to a village... Finally he will be able to get some rest and a proper meal. His task is daunting and it's finally close to an end... The size is 2x2 BP (48x48) and I used 3000 tiles 1x1 in trans-green! :/ Hope you like it! Green Lake Tower Ruins Green Lake Tower Ruins Green Lake Tower Ruins

MOC - Carripana - Old Truck

I've been wanting to do some builds different from my usual castle/fantasy tendency, so while I'm waiting a few days for some parts to arrive to do more builds to my LUGs Fantasy display, I decided to make this little truck. This is based on one of many trucks that I saw (and hitchhiked) on my home little town when I was a kid. Mr. Manel da Linda is very annoyed because that little bastard is taking toooo long to cross the road... :) This is my first thing with wheels :) so please bare with me. I must say I had lots of fun building this and definitely want to do MOCs of different themes from now on! Thanks for watching! PS: Carripana is portuguese for "old decaying ugly truck"! ;) Carripana Carripana Carripana
13. Hey there, First things first: I really dislike square bases, this one was made just to cover the basic bricks that I used to elevate the all build to match the rest of the display. Just Ignore it :) This is another build to my LUGs (comunidade 0937) display that will be first time showed on Arte em Peças on the first 2 weekends of June. It will be part of a village that it will be inserted on a large display next to my blueWater Castle. The Wedgwood house and the Healer’s House will be part of it to. It was a real blast building these one because of the color scheme that I just happen to love. The roof is bright light orange and the landscape is primarily lime green. It has lots of little details, both on the cottage but also on the landscape. It’s 4 side viewable too, of course. Enjoy! Morisledge Cottage Morisledge Cottage fggfgr Morisledge Cottage
14. Early in the morning, while he was still sleeping , Adam left Terryn on the camp they arranged for the night and went to the mysterious house he saw on a nearby hill when they stopped. They are getting out of food and are, still, a long way from their destination in Mitgardia, so he decided to approach whoever lives there in hopes to get supplies and perhaps a hint on the safest path to their destination. Lord Carnwalis is the one who leaves in that house. He is a peaceful man and living so close to the Mitgardian border, he sure will help Adam and Terryn on deciding the safest rout. Hey everybody. It´s been a while since I build something, but I’ve been sick and with loads of work so I did not have much time. Anyways, this is my latest build, and the first of 2015. I tried to do some things a bit different this time, like the walls and some colors on the landscaping. Also, this MOC is going to be inserted in a display that I’m working on to be displayed on my LUG's expositions, 0937 and so its viewable from 4 sides. Sorry, once again, for the poor storyline, but definitely this is my weakest point and I cant do much better… CC is welcome of course. Hope you like it The Wedgwood House The Wedgwood House The Wedgwood House The Wedgwood House
15. Hey guys! This is my first entry to this year’s CCC, to the Fairy Tale Castle Category. It’s Rapunzel’s Tower. According to the original story written by the Brother’s Grimm, Rapunzel was a beautiful girl, locked up by an evil witch on a tower with no doors or stairs located deep in the forest. After a year or two, it came to pass that the Prince rode through the forest and went by the tower. He heard a song which was so lovely that he stood still and listened. This was Rapunzel who in her loneliness passed her time singing. The Prince wanted to climb up to her, and looked for the door of the tower, but none was to be found… The rest, you all know… :p It was a HUGE pain to photograph a MOC this size. The lighting never seemed right and in honesty I don´t think the photos do justice to this build, but I di9d the best I could :/ Some photos: Rapunzel's Tower Rapunzel's Tower Rapunzel's Tower
16. Not much is known about Malcumus Erlond. People know he is a druid and a mysterious man, that lives in the old cottage on Death Cliff Island. People often say too, that is has a magic potion that turns anyone into a very smart person! Marcus and Gairbert are not smart… At all… And they decided to try and reach the cottage on top of the cliff and steal the potion from Malcumus and become the 2 smartest persons of the country… Would they be successful? :b Hey guys, this is my 6th and final entry to the CCC, to The Merry Band category. Hope you like it. Ho and I would totally live there :b Malcumus Erlond Cottage Malcumus Erlond Cottage Malcumus Erlond Cottage
17. Deep in the forest, Vyell Henion stumbles across a very strange house. A house built in a very big and ancient tree… She heard about this ancient tree and the old lady that leaves there many times... The urge to knock is big… So guys, this is my 5th entry to the CCC,to the small miscellaneous category. It didn’t turned out quite well as I wanted but this was a rush build as I wanted to make one more. I love this concept and I will build more like this for sure when I have more time. Enjoy! 18. Hi guys This is the “Etheldreed Windmill” my 3rd entry for the CCC, Medieval Husbandry category, and also a freebuild to GoH. The mighty lands of Avalonia are home to many water and windmills, and perhaps the most known is the “Etheldreed Windmill”, where all kinds of cereals are milled to feed the nearby small villages. Being away from the forests, so it can catch strong winds, this windmill is an iconic landmark of Vanhorn Region. CC is welcome. I had to photograph this one with only artificial lighting so the pics came out a little dark. Enjoy
19. Hi again guys. So, this is my 2nd entry for the CCC, more specifically for the Large Miscellaneous Category. I’ve been wanting to build a medieval village for quite a while and finally I was able to do it. I had a lot of trouble because I ran out of bricks in sooo many spots that I had to improvise a lot. Also, I don’t really like square bases, but, again, I was out of wedge plates so this was the best solution that I could find :/ CC is welcome as always. Enjoy!
20. Hey guys! This my latest MOC, a freebuild. Continuing their trip thru Vanhorn’s enchanted forests, Adam and Terryn stumble across a very strange and old watermill, with crumbling walls and a curved roof. Tiered, hungry and with the darkness of the night coming quickly, they decided to ask if they can spent the night… Here are some photos, that, again, where a pain to take. As usual, CC is more then welcome! I would like to claim UoP credits for: Architecture - roofing – curved roof - wall techniques -- SNOTted tile stonework Landscape Design - trees – The tree on the left Hydrology - flowing water
21. Hi everybody. This is my entry to the MEC. I only had enough time to build in one category, so I choose B. After Sauron was defeated and the ruling ring has been destroyed, the age of men, an age of peace and harmony, began. Gandalf took a break from is great adventures and quests and now lives peacefully in a small cottage in the middle of the woods. Frodo, Bilbo and other friends continue to visit him, and when they do, they seat by the fire, talking about how they manage to get thru all the dangers and slippery roads. It’s a time of peace, it’s a time of friendship… The idea was to recreate a circular cottage with a roof in a shape of a wizard’s hat, taking some inspiration on the latest DC build, Caer Caradoc . The roof didn’t worked out as I wanted, mainly because of lack of time and specific parts, but I think the idea is there. I now this roof is not going to please to everybody, but hopefully the idea gets thru. :) Some photos. Hope you like it and CC is welcome! PS: Good luck to everyone!
