  1. As we all know, vote caused a conflict between Bionicle fans and System fans. The main reason is fact that all of Top 4 series (exept Bionicle) have already some great sets. LEGO Pirates fans have 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay set, LEGO Space fans have 70816 Benny's Spaceship and 21109 Exo-Suit. Fans of Castle series have 21325 Medieval Blacksmith and I'm sure, we'll see some kind of Castle-themed series soon, even without voting. What about LEGO Bionicle fans? After cutting short its story in 2010, and waiting 5 years for proper continuation, LEGO created a reboot that failed in many ways. But gave us great parts to creating MOCs. Unfortunatelly, Bionicle G2 ended in 2017 and since that, it's really hard to get any pieces for normal price. Remnants of LEGO Star Wars buildable figures are expensive cause of license and Bricklink is the only place where we can get CCBS parts now. Bionicle fans are affraid that LEGO will soon destroy moulds from G2, making impossible for us to get bricks like 24189, 24190, 24191 or 20474 that were great for building MOCs. The conflict will increase until LEGO start caring about Bionicle fans. If LEGO doesn't want to give us new sets, it should at least release some jars with CCBS parts in three size variants: Matoran, Toa and Titan, which will contain skeleton parts, shells (not only in standard colors, but sand-green, purple etc. too), weapons, technic joints, technic panels and recolored masks that will allow us to reforge our anger into creativity. Bionicle has great potential to create action figures, giant fantasy creatures and vehicles with lot of technic functions. But it's hard to build MOCs without parts. If there's a LEGO theme like LEGO Classic, we can have LEGO CCBS too. I know, part of system fans doesn't care, but what about you, Bionicle fans? Do you think, there's a chance for CCBS jars or we'll continue to buying sets like Corvette ZR1 just to have parts to create another Rahi? :p
  2. Hello, I've been browsing this forum for a while now and thought that this would be a fun idea. Make a list of star wars characters you would like to have a buildable figure for or if they had one, be remade. It can range from to most to least likely and you have the option to explain why you want the character. I'll start it off Who I want Rex Bly Fox Fives Doom The Bad Batch Delta Squad Gree Gregor Wolffe TCW Anakin Skywalker Rebels Ahsoka Sabine Wren (any version of her really) Ursa Wren Rebels Gar Saxon Pre Vizsla Bacara Bo katan Tank Troopers Plo Koon AT AT Pilot Inferno Squad Trooper Princess Leia (Bounty Hunter Disguise) C-3PO Tam Posla Rebel Soldier Kanan (Season 1) Asajj Ventress (Dark Disciple) Quinlan Vos Cad Bane Jedi Temple Guards Savage Opress (with Axe) Droideka MagnaGuard Dengar Who I want Remade Obi-wan Kenobi Kylo Ren Luke Skywalker Commander Cody So have fun everyone.
  3. Comparison between 75121 Imperial Death Trooper and 75523 Scarif Stormtrooper. Photos are from Brickset. Notice the high level of detail these both have. The Death Trooper is on the left; the Scarif Stormtrooper on the right. Note: As "Shoretrooper" and not "Scarif Stormtrooper" is the accurate name for these troops, I will henceforth refer to 75523 as a Shoretrooper. Boxes: Both are $24.99 (or $44.99 in my region), but the Death Trooper has 105 pieces; the Shoretrooper only has 64. Therefore, the Death Trooper easily wins in terms of value. First, we shall compare their helmets. Both are amazingly detailed and enormously accurate, but the Shoretrooper has a better helmet in my opinion, as all the little dots representing battle damage are superb. Chest pieces! Both look really good and detailed, but I just slightly prefer the Death Trooper's because you can add and remove the pauldron. Speaking of pauldrons, it's time for the comparison of the pauldron and the faulds! Both look really good, but the Death Trooper's pauldron has more printing and has the bonus of 3 printed tiles which can be attached, so I think the Death Trooper's pauldron wins. However, it must be said that the Shoretrooper's faulds are really great too. Time for the legs! Shoretrooper wins this one. More printing on the lower leg panels, plus the addition of the great plastic faulds. One thing I do not like about them both is that they use dark grey feet extensions. Surely they could be made in black and brown? Another noteworthy thing is that the Death Trooper has 3L beams in his legs to cover up the holes, the Shoretrooper does not. Time for the Weapons! The Death Trooper has two weapons: A blaster and a pistol. The Shoretrooper has a double-barreled E-22 blastser. Both look really impressive, and thus I think it is a tie. The Shoretrooper's gun is more detailed than the Death Trooper's gun, as it has two shooting functions (missile AND stud shooter) plus a blue rangefinder on the side! However, the Death Trooper has the advantage of two weapons, minus the fact that the pistol doesn't look too good in his hand. The pistol can be clipped to the side of the Trooper's leg, however. VOTE TALLY: Value = Death Trooper Helmet = Shoretrooper Chest pieces = Death Trooper Pauldron vs Faulds = Death Trooper Legs = Shoretrooper Weapons = TIE Overall, the Death Trooper wins in my book, but only narrowly. Which do you prefer?
