  1. #10 - Nova Hunter Nova Hunter is the chief in the Exploriens theme He has a cool mustache and looks like a mature leader. His Explorien uniform with black hands looks awesome too. He was a cool enough character to be included in the LEGO Racers video game. #9 - Bob Bob is one of the first minifigures and is commonly used as a mascot by LEGO. The thing I like about Bob is his classic smiley face. Even though he only appeared in two sets, he is easy to build with classic smiley face, red torso and blue pants. #8 - Baron Von Baron Baron Von Baron (formerly known as Sam Sanister/Sinister, Evil EyeLord Sam Sinister, and Mr. Hates) was the main villain from the Adventurers and Orient Expedition themes. In the Egypt theme he tried to steal the Re-Gou ruby but failed. On Dino Island he tried to steal dinosaurs to open up a theme park. I like his monocle, cool mustache and hook hand. He is an awesome villain. He was also cool enough to be included in LEGO Racers 1 and 2 (though he has both hands in part 2) #7 - Tony Twister and Professor Millennium Tony Twister, alternately known as Baron Bloomberg in the United Kingdom, is a Time Twisters minifigure released in 1997. He is a villain and travels through time along with his twin brother, Professor Millennium, alternately known as Commodore Schmidt in the United Kingdom. I like Tony's mustache, leather hat and black jacket with yellow epaulettes. Millennium has the same cool hat and an awesome goatee beard. I put them here together because they are twins. #6 - Pepper Roni Pepper Roni is the star of the LEGO Island trilogy. He is a young delivery boy who delivers pizza to the citizens of LEGO Island. I like him because he looks like a cool kid. I like his printed hair and pizza torso. #5 - Dr. Cyber Dr. Cyber is one of Timmy's friends from the Time Cruisers theme. He goes back in time with him and collects hats from different times. He has a robot named Robby. He tries to alter the Space-time Continum as little as possible. He was a rocket scientist at NASA. I like his cartoonish eyes, red bow tie and pencil. I also like him because Time Cruisers is my favorite theme. #4 - Dr. Kilroy also known as Dr. Charles Lightning and Professor Articus Dr. Kilroy is a minifigure from the Adventurers theme. He is a brilliant scientist with extensive knowledge of artifacts and archaeology. According to LEGO Mania Magazine, he is Johnny Thunder's uncle. He is cool because of his cartoonish eyes, awesome beard, red bow tie and assortment of outfits featuring a white pith helmet. Plus he hangs out with Johnny Thunder in he most awesome adventures. #3 - Zack Zack (also known as Red Shirted Cowboy) is a Western minifigure released in 1996. He has appeared in seven sets and appears in all the Lego western commercials. Zack is a tough cowboy who helps the Sheriff protect the town from outlaw cowboys. I like him because of his blue jeans, a red button-up shirt, and a brown vest with gold buttons. My favorite thing about Zack is his printed white wavy hair. His head and face are used as the Ice Planet Astronaut. #2 - Johnny Thunder Johnny Thunder is the main protagonist of the LEGO Adventurers theme. He is included in numerous sets as a minifigure in each of the theme's sub-series, often alongside his friends Dr. Charles Lightning and Gail Storm . In addition to all of this, Johnny also appears in seven video games more than any other LEGO character. I like his mustache, hair and hat. He was the LEGO equivalent of Indiana Jones but cooler. #1 - Timmy Timmy was a minifigure who was first released in 1996. He has a pet monkey named Ingo. He has a pet monkey named Ingo He was seen extensively in the Time Cruisers theme until its discontinuation in 1997, and after that he appeared in many FreeStyle sets. Timmy has the best face ever with black hair hanging down, cartoon eyes and even has a nose!!
  2. Cheers, loves! This was built for the Overwatch contest on Lego Ideas last year, but unfortunately I couldn't get it done in time. However, I am still quite proud of it, so I wanted to share it anyway. When Overwatch hero Ashe heard about the Queen of Junkertown's treasure and how difficult it is to steal, she saw it as a great challenge and a way to make a name for herself, so she devised a plan to infiltrate Junkertown and steal it. She fashioned Junker disguises for herself and her trusty sidekick B.O.B. out of junk with which she planned to enter Junkertown under the pretense of wanting to enter Bob in the Scrapyard fights. Ashe plans to use this fight as a distraction while her Deadlock Gang would sneak into the Queen's vault and empty it. Basically, this is a Junkertown-inspired re-imagining of these characters from the game. In case you're not familiar with them, this is how they normally look like in the game: Ashe wears a hogdrogen canister on her back that connects to her mask in order to protect her from the poisonous environment of Junkertown. Ashe's mask can be taken off and replaced with a cheese slope nose. Ashe wears spiky armor and razor claws on one of her wrists for close combat. Her saw-blade hat can be used as a throw-weapon and her belt carries various tools for scavenging and surviving the harsh outback. Ashe has her "eyes on the bad guys". Bob doesn't look too different, although he does wear a bit more armor and spikes, and a belt buckle with a gear instead of the Deadlock Gang logo to hide his affiliation. The Deadlock Gang logo is also absent from the back of his vest. "B.O.B! Do somethin'!" Just like in the game, Bob has three cannons that can pop out of each arm for his ultimate ability. Bob traded his bowler for a more outback-appropriate fedora. Here is a close up of the loot box. You feel the urge to open it, don't you? Thanks for looking, and remember: Play well, play Pharah!
  3. These next Twenty-plus models are all built in the style of CREATOR set 31206, (Bike Shop & Cafe) with each having either removable floors or open on a hinge and snap closed with a Technic Pin. Pizzeria Inspired by the B model from set 31026, (Bike Shop & Cafe) this building was originally going to be hotel but turned into a pizza parlor with an outside staircase and delivery van. This model features seven seats spread out over two floors. It also features a pizza oven and counter with cash register. There is also as ladder to the roof with access hatch. This van is a modified version of what is in set 79104 (The Shellraiser Street Street Chase). It features two rear doors and two side doors, plus the roof sign with pizza. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407259993m.lxf Modern bank This is an update to my previous version of this bank. It features Light Bluish Gray instead of Dark Blue to keep costs down. I have also added a armored vehicle. The rear contains stairs to the upper level, and a expanded Vault on the second story. Also, the skylight has been moved to the rear roof and it does not open anymore. The front contains nearly the same components as the original set. The first floor has a non-break-away ATM , desk, waiting area, and sorting tray for packages, while the second story contains the entrance to the bank vault. This modified Armored Truck goes with the Modern Bank. LDD file: (to be added) Benny's Spaceship Shop! (In his spare time Benny operates a store selling custom LEGO space kits. He also lives in the shop on the second floor.) This was originally was the Pizza shop in set 7641, City Corner. (re-released as set 60031 last year) I added a back based on the Bicycle shop from set 31026, and put in a hinge system with a Technic pin to lock it closed. I then colored it blue instead of the original red and made it into Benny's shop with all it classical space goodness. Benny's shop features a micro spaceship in the display window, rear delivery door, and cash register. On the second floor is the apartment Benny lives in. It features a bed, side-table, computer, micro space layout, and ladders to the first and third floors. The third floors attic is empty but it usually features boxes of miscellaneous stuff. Here is Benny's car. It is supposed to feature the Classic Space Logo on the trunk (via this part: http://www.bricklink...26326&colorID=7 ) Benny's car was made back in 1984 by Universal Motors Corporation. Since 1997, the second gear shift has been jammed, thus rendering the car flightless. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407339846m.lxf Captain's Daughter Tavern This was originally part of set 10193, Medieval Market Village. It has been redesigned to have a interior staircase and still have plenty of room for serving drinks and simple food. There is supposed to be a sign out front with this print: http://www.bricklink...asp?P=2335pb075 The inside of the model features a Frog on the bar (for no real reason), a inside staircase, and a bunch of seating on the second floor. Their is a crude gumball machine on the second floor at the top of the stairs. This is the delivery van for the Captain's Daughter Tavern, getting beer and other assorted alcohol from the brewery. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407343191m.lxf Tudor-style House This house was built from set 10193 (Medieval Market Village). It was originally the blacksmith's which works fine in a Castle setting, but this building is supposed to be from the late 1920's! So I removed the blacksmiths and added a proper lower floor with a connecting staircase to the upper floor. This building's lower floor has a couch and table with lamp on top. On the second floor is my bed and a pot belly stove which warms the house up very nicely. I have a soft spot for this car, as it is the last remaining model I have built from my early Lego career / 2002. I've modified it a lot, but it basically went from medium blue to black, opening doors to no doors, and opening trunk to no trunk and back to opening trunk, all in the space of 12 years of evolving part design. (The original model was the Ford Anglia from the 2002 Harry Potter "Escape from Privet Drive" set.) LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407344930m.lxf Octan Gas Station I built this OCTAN Gas Station from a Starter Model in LDD back in 2011, and have wanted to build it ever since. It features a sign and Tanker truck inspired by 10184 (Town Plan). By the way: The sign features two of this part (print not in LDD): http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=2431px9 Instead of being in the 1950's, I set this station to have been built in the early '60's to mid '70's. The roof for the station is removable, and the bay fits most 16 stud long cars. (but just barley) Any official LEGO City car should fit fine. This truck was based off of the 2008 Town Plan set's tanker. It features a more American-style hood and grille, plus four tank lids instead of the original three. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1407774834m.lxf Bob's Adventure Supplies Built in 1898, this stone building was a small mining supply store, selling shovels and pickaxes to the miners from the local quarry and construction workers. In 1969, after 70+ years of business, the store was sold to a re-development firm for demolition. Thankfully, the building was saved through the actions of a local historic preservation group, who then bought the building to be used a a historical documents library. That library was moved to the Town Hall in 1998, and the building was sold to Bob with one condition: to never tear it down or disturb its historic status. Bob then turned the building back to it's roots with the opening of his Adventure Supplies shop which is still there to this day. NOTES: This is a modified version of Olivander's Wand Shop from 2011 set 10217 Diagon Alley with a back and staircase added, plus the expensive sand green and dark blue have been replaced. Also, this building is ONLY open-able up to 90 degrees. The whole 180 is impossible due to the way the original Olivanders Wand Shop was designed... sorry! The inside features tons of bits of gear, weapons, & devices for adventuring in any place (or time). This includes swords and a large mace to spacesuits and laser pistols. Bob's 1978 Nexus. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1410447014m.lxf Backwash Saloon I turned Colby City Showdown (set 79109) into a proper building for my town. It features removable floors to access the interior along with plenty of details. Also, this saloon is named after / supposed to include the Lego Movie mini-figures Sudds Backwash & Root Beer Belle. (NOTE: I have this building in real life now, plus the new "neon" sign. The old sign that was centered above the corner doesn't work in real life. I don't know why LDD allowed it in the first place, as it's an illegal build. The LDD file has been updated to reflect these changes.) This floor features: bar, four tables, several drinks containers, and a printed cash register. This part ( http://www.bricklink...asp?P=3039pb026 ) is supposed to be the register, but it is not in Lego Digital Designer. The second floor features three more tables for those really busy days, plus the piano. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1422741868m.lxf 1950's Fire Station Here we see my MOD of the Brick City Depot (Winter Village) Fire station. I redid the color scheme in some places & added a different Fire Engine. (which happens to be a MOD of set 9484, Red's Water Rescue) I redid the vehicle door connections and put pillars in the corners of the building. I also completely remodeled the roof, adding a water tower instead of the original bell tower. I want to add an old-school air raid siren, like the ones from the Cold War. The problem is I have no idea how to make one. If anyone has any ideas on that, please comment! The inside features a pole to slide on, a equipment locker, and just enough space for the 1950's fire truck. I built this from set 9484, Red's Water Rescue. I replaced the eyes with trans-black tiles and cheese slopes, while adding a grille where the mouth was. I also beef up the rear, and removed the flick-fire missiles. 1950's V8 Gas Station This model was originally built in 2012. It was inspired by the 2011 CARS set 8487, (Flo's V8 Cafe) but made larger and without the launcher and car wash. Yesterday I re-discovered the model and enlarged the bays from six to eight wide, added a rear to the building for the gas station attendant, and redid the curved roof covering the 8 gas pumps. The inside features a clock, four-flavor soda fountain, and the attendant's desk. Their is also a storage area under the soda fountain. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1414426653m.lxf I will probably get this Gas Station instead of the OCTAN... as soon as I build the other buildings! Old Stone Bank I took set the Bank from the 2011 Harry Potter LEGO set Diagon Alley (number 10217) and gave it a make over into a more City-like set. First I straightened the columns out, and added a more protected Bank teller area. The vault was shortened width-wise by 1 stud, making it 3 studs thick. (plus the door, of course) The sign out front feature the two stickers from the 2014 Getaway Glider LEGO Movie set (number 70800). One says "BA" while the other says "NK". (Here is the complete sticker sheet: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=70800stk01 ) Here you can see the redone teller area, smaller bank vault. LDD file for the bank: http://www.mocpages....1414606259m.lxf This old-fashioned Bank also features a vehicle: a modern armored truck. It was taken from set 76105, Doc Ock's truck Heist and modified to follow Eurotrash48903's example of the same type. There are some cosmetic changes from the LDD file to real life, but it's functionally the same. LDD file for the truck: http://www.mocpages....1411148366m.lxf Ironwood Hotel This Hotel was born out of boredom. I was not doing much when I stumbled upon set 7633 (2009's Construction Site, link: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=7633-1 ) and was hit with the idea of making that CITY building front into a Creator-style full building with an opening back. I struggled with the design until i saw some Friends - themed instructions by a blogger named Kristel. (link to her awesome blog: http://modularsbykristel.com/ ) Her "Joanna’s Place" instructions inspired the roof design and the middle floors' windows. Then I combined all that with the HOTEL sign from the 2007 Cafe Corner modular building. (link: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?S=10182-1 ) I threw together the interior, (If you can call three beds and a front desk "interior"!) at the last minute. As I said before, I am no interior designer. The beds were copied from Medieval Market Village (set 10193, link: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?S=10193-1 ) and the desk was a table scrap. LDD file for the Hotel: http://www.mocpages....1415988835m.lxf Barber Shop This Barber Shop was partially inspired by set 7641, (City Corner, link to BrickLlink: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=7641-1 ) and it's bike shop and partially by the works of Kristel, whose Instructions from her blog led me to this roof design. Anyway, the building has a sign out front that is supposed to say "BARBER SHOP", in printed letters. Underneath that is a barber pole and two haircut styles on display in the front window. The first floor features two display heads with vintage hair styles, some chairs for waiting customers, and a cash register. On the second floor is two swivel chairs that also can recline (these chairs were copied from the ones in the Detective's Office modular building) and some bottles of hair care products. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1420591242m.lxf Town Hall (Version 2) This building was inspired by 2008 set 10184, Town Plan. I added a rear to the building in a style like set 31026, Bike Shop & Cafe. The building also takes cues from Scotnick and his modular take on the Town plan set. The upper floor features the mayors office with filing cabinets while the lower floor features the secretary’s desk. The LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1423179603m.lxf Haunted House This build was based on LEGO set 4756 (called Shrieking Shack ) from the 2004 Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban movie line. My revamped version of the set features a hinge system to allow access to the interior while preserving the sense that it is a complete building. The house also has a interior and a secret exit through the fireplace. The house features a secret exit through the fireplace and boarded up windows. There are 10 of those 1x6 tan tiles in this build, and all of them are missing a specific rare wooden board print. (see it here: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=6636px1 ) The lower floor features a phonograph and two chairs, plus the secret fireplace escape route. The second floor features a rotten bed frame. LDD file for the haunted house: http://www.mocpages....1423180399m.lxf Johnny Thunder's office Inspired by the Bank building in set 6484, (Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase) this building features two floors and a "cast iron" facade. The bottom floor features Johnny's office with telephone, hat rack, bottle of root beer, and desk made from crates, while the top floor features the Trophy Room with these items: a Sword made in India out of ivory, a ancient Roman Shield from Italy, a golden Ring of Power from a dark land far away, a silver glove of an Aztec suit of armor, the Spear of Destiny from Jerusalem, a Trident from Atlantis, and a scythe from the Land of the Dead. The Treasure Chaser is based off of set 7622, Race for the Stolen Treasure. (2008's Indiana Jones theme) This is a better version of the Treasure Raider that I made a couple months back. This vehicle features a spare tire, head & tail lights, plus a good old adventurer favorite: the classic two seat piece from way back in 1998 and last in 2013. LDD file for office plus car: http://www.mocpages....1423430126m.lxf Sinister Mansion - Revisited This classic 90's LEGO-styled model was originally built in 2007 by a Brickshelf user named "Widdi". That user uploaded the instructions (seen here:http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=249223 ) which I stumbled upon and built / modified in Lego Digital Designer. I added another story for the tower, put furniture inside and worked a garage into the structure. More recently, I have redone the tower and removed some of the windows. The inside features the furniture from my Haunted House (10228) MOD, including (but not limited to): a Queen size bed, stove, table, phonograph, sidetable with lamp plus the couch. The first floor I has the living / dining rooms, as the couch, stove and table and other associated items are there. The second floor features the master bedroom with a small balcony on the right side. The third floor is the attic, which is empty. The tower / roof (fourth floor) is also empty. This is Sam sinister's personal ride: It is included in the LDD file. LDD file for the mansion and car: http://www.mocpages....1431479292m.lxf Johnny Thunder's office (version 2) This building was inspired by set Modular Building set numbers 10246: Detective Office, and 10190: Market Street. The first floor's look was totally taken from 10246, while the roof details are from 10190. Also, the year 1897 should be above the front door in printed black 1 x 1 tiles. The levels lift off like a modular but it lacks modular building pins, a base-plate and is not the proper size, being 18 studs square after all. Johnny's car is included in the Building's LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1427128673m.lxf Benny's Classic Town-style Apartment This is Benny the 1980-something Space Guy's apartment. It features a garage with dual opening doors on the lower floor for his Lego Classic Space - styled Car. Benny himself (minus his suit's printing, of course!) is there as well. The style of the set is based off half of set 6390, a Classic Town set from 1980. (This set was re-released in 2003 under the short-lived Lego LEGENDS line as set 10041.) Also, unlike most of my buildings, Benny's apartment does not open like a dollhouse, but features removable levels to accesses the inside, much like a modular building. I was inspired to build this model after seeing the dark red half-track / truck in set 60071, Hovercraft Arrest. The model features a row of space-ship styled seats opening doors, and "double" tail lights. (I used a trans-red grille to create a nice effect.) the white tiles is supposed to be Benny's license plate. Here is the LDD file for the car and building: http://www.mocpages....1433945715m.lxf NEW Post Office This is my LEGO town's post office. It was inspired by the B model of Creator set 31026, (Bike Shop & Cafe) and features a detailed interior, delivery truck, outside staircase and a hinge to allow you to open the building. This same hinge system "locks" the building closed by way of a Technic pin. The lower floor features a service desk, mailbox and two seats for waiting customers. The upper floor features a desk for sorting outgoing mail and a cabinet full of dead letters, a list of addresses for my town, and other assorted stuff. This truck is a MOD of the truck from set 10222, Winter Village Post Office. It seats two people and has storage room (with opening doors) in the back for packages. LDD file for post office and truck: http://www.mocpages....1429490041m.lxf OLD Post Office This was my first town building I built way back in 2011. It houses my Post office and features a large bay window. The inside of the model features a work area on the second floor piled high with letters and packages to be sorted. The lower floor features a couple of chairs for waiting customers to sit in, and a counter to add packages being handed over into the computer tracking system. This truck is also in the LDD file. LDD file for this older post office: http://www.mocpages....1314989073m.lxf Model Train Club This model houses Iron LUG, the local LEGO Users Group for Ironwood - area residents. It is situated in an old pharmacy that has been renovated into a display area. Inside the model is the Iron LUG LEGO layout, with a train, tracks, and "water". Their is even a control switch to speed up the train. (in reality the train does not move, being set into the 1 stud wide track) (No LDD file available for this one, sorry!) Grays Movie Theater The theater is modeled after the one in 2008 set 10184, Town Plan. The original upload of this model was in gray-scale way back in September 2014, and this is a colorized update of that model. I was going to name this movie theater Bleys, after the derogatory nickname of the post-2003 switch to Bluish Grey.... but I didn't want to stir up old feelings of resentment and stubbornness, so I named it "Greys" instead. I chose white panels for the windows and theater door because I have seen first hand how bad stickers on clear windows are, (my brother had this set) and wanted something more realistic. If I were to build this, I would use stickers (Shock & horror!) from both the Town Plan theater & Palace Cinema modular building, (as they are of compatible styling) and stick them on the front and sides. The letters G-R-A-Y-S would be printed on 1x1 tiles on the main sign (both sides!)... but the main "now showing" signage, however, would remain blank unless I Can fit the these words on it: STAR WARS - A NEW HOPE to replicate the 1977 showing of this iconic film. My town is set in modern times, so this could create some issues... Here is the inside, complete with Foosball table, waiting seats and refreshment stand. Currently however, there are seven seats in the theater plus the two for the people waiting outside, and one for the ticket taker. There are two soda flavors available, one of which is Sgt. Pepper, a Beatles and a Dr. Pepper reference in one drink! LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1429563317m.lxf Victorian Townhouse This building was originally the Brick City Depot 'Winter Village - Victorian House" model. (Link to it here: https://www.brickcit...victorian_house ) I removed the snow, and sloped-plate roof, and added a back half with stairs to the model. There is even a fireplace for keeping you warm on cold winter nights. The rear of the model features the chimney flue. As usual, this building hinges open and shuts on a Technic pin. The inside of the model features most of my standard details, such as a stove (which is supposed to look like it's hooked into the chimney), couch, vintage phonograph, table with lamp, curio cabinet, and twin-size bed. I have even included a analog clock on the wall above the fireplace to complete the early 1900's look. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1430059147m.lxf Johnny Thunder's Office - revisited original version Since the last time I uploaded Johnny Thunder's office, I did a Bricklink inventory of the parts list and found that the first model is way cheaper than the following versions I made. It may be not as fancy, but it get the job done and looks okay too. Also, I credit Eurobricks / Flickr user "Kristal" for the roof top decorations technique. (Here is a link to her blog: http://modularsbykristel.com/ ) The inside features a new look: a stove borrowed from the Haunted House (set 10228) and a staircase with railings instead of a ladder. The cabinets have been moved upstairs, and the desk has been redesigned as well. This model's LDD file also comes with Johnny's car, seen here in real life. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1430498488m.lxf Grocery Store with apartment This build was inspired by sets 41108, (Heartlake Food Market) 10684 (Supermarket Suitcase), with other sets thrown in as needed. This sign ( http://www.bricklink...asp?P=6179pb086 ) goes above the front door. This poster ( http://www.bricklink...sp?P=87079pb197 )goes next to the picture window. The store-owner uses this torso. ( http://www.bricklink...?P=973pb1935c01 ) The inside (lower floor) isn't my best work, but it gets the idea across that this is a grocery store. The store features tow shelves, a freezer, gumball machine and, in the restroom, a toilet and sink. The upper floor is the super market owner's apartment and is very basic with couch, table with two chairs, bed and TV (with test pattern made from a Star Wars control pad). LDD file for the Grocery Store: http://www.mocpages....1432840783m.lxf As for the models I need to get versus one's I already own, the list is something like this: I already have: Benny's car, Bob's car, Fire Truck, Tudor-style house, black & white Ford Anglia, Captain's Daughter Tavern, Old Stone Bank, Bob's Adventure Supplies, Backwash Saloon, Johnny Thunders car, Sam Sinister's car, OLD Post office, & Model train club. I need to build: Town Hall (Version 2), Barber Shop, Johnny Thunder's office (Revisited Version 1), NEW Post office, & Benny's apartment, Victorian Mansion and maybe the Victorian townhouse . The rest of them I probably will not build. Comments, Questions, suggestions, & complaints are always welcome!
  4. Here's my entry for Bob's fantastic maze competition - another theme park entry, this time based on the 1993 blockbuster classic Jurassic Park. Start at the dark green tile by the InGen helicopter and roll through the iconic gates. Pass the Galliminus grazing area and visit the beautiful Visitor Center. Watch out, the T-Rex has escaped! Don't hide in the outhouse... Continue on past the Raptor Enclosure and discover the empty jeep that Nedry once drove on his way out. Finally, pass the Stegosaurus, reach the generator bunker, and restore power to the park! Here's the obligatory shot with the standard maze frame: The tiles near the helicopter and Nedry's jeep are actually trans-blue, but they showed up weird on the render. Likewise the flames are trans-orange. All parts exist, including the red dinosaur: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?S=4079-1#T=S&O={} C&C welcome!
  5. Sorry, that was a long and odd title, I couldn't think of anything really catchy. Also, I put this in town forum because it involves land-based town vehicles with some sci-fi features thrown in for good measure. (I hope this is okay, but you mods can move it if you want!) Also, I will update this thread when need be to prove these have been built in real life and are not just digital models. Classic Space car (Benny the Blue astronaut) This is Benny the 1980-something space guy's car while on Earth. It was used to travel to the movie studio when making the LEGO Movie, and is now normally parked at Benny's summer home in Bricksburg. The model features a row of space-ship styled seats and "double" tail lights. (I used a trans-red grille to create a nice effect.) the white tile above the rear bumper is supposed to be Benny's license plate. This part goes on the sloped rear of the car: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=30363pb021 Here is the car in real life. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1434990478m.lxf Neo-Nexus Force automobile (Bob from LEGO Universe) Here we see Bob's car for use on Earth. Bob uses the car to travel from his Military Surplus shop in Ironwood to a classified location where he then moves on to his base, Ice Station Destiny, which is located in Polaris star system. This car can seat one figure and is supposed to have this print on the 2x2 slope situated on the trunk: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=15068pb004 Bob's car can also fly using the same basic STARK hover technology as Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. car does. (Bob is a good friend of Tony Stark and is also on good terms with Bruce Wayne, as he tests out their new tech for both of them) (real world picture goes here when I build this model) LDD file for the car: http://www.mocpages....1437422963m.lxf Treasure Raider (Johnny Thunder) This is Johnny Thunder's car, and has been used from the Great Pyramids of Egypt to the Great Wall of China, to the depths of the Amazon jungles of Peru and even to places not listed on any map where dinosaurs still roam the Earth. The car features seating for two an full-size spare tire (perfect for those times when you jump over a cliff and cause a dented wheel hub while trying to make your getaway from the approaching enemy forces) Here is the real model of the car. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1404178315m.lxf Evil Intentions (Lord Sam Sinister) Here we see the car of Lord Sam Sinister which may or may not have been involved in stealing artifacts and treasures the world over, and was definitely not involved in the botched attempt to ransom the Great Sphinx of Giza's nose. It also was never anywhere close to being hauled onto a battle-cruiser named the HMS Vladeck, which by the way, is not from the country of Ogel. It most certainly was never photographed headed to Antarctica, where it won't locate the lost City of the Ancients. (also known as Atlantis) The car can seat two people, and is supposed to have this license plate where the white 1x2 tile is: http://www.bricklink....asp?P=3069bpa1 Here is the photograph I wasn't talking about before. The LDD file is available here: http://www.mocpages....1436387276m.lxf This concludes the post for now... more vehicles may come eventually.
  6. Excalibur TNG: Mafia School Conclusion: All Good Things... The remaining students had decided to vote out Warren Thompson / Lego3364. "I'm innocent." he said simply. But as a guard went to put the cuffs on him, he whipped out his phaser! "Aha!" he said. "Reach for the skies!" But a shot rang out... Willie Spencer / Tohst, the Loyalist Vigilante, has killed Warren, the last remaining Purist! "Where were you keeping that phaser?" Adam asks. "Don't worry about it." "Well done to both of you. I'm very proud that you've managed the root out the remaining Purist Scum." Bob says. "Can't you do something about the other Loyal students that have died?" Willie asks. "What makes you think I can do anything?" "You've been the host for games as far back as the Prohibition Era to now the Space Age. I think you've got some magical powers." And so all the loyal students are resurrected thanks to the power of love! Also the fact that they're easily re-assembled helps. ~~~ Congratulations to the two survivors of Excalibur TNG: Mafia School! Tohst and jluckhaupt! Firstly, I'd most likely remove the town vigilante and replace that role with the Doctor/Protector role instead. Three people dying every day in hindsight was much to much, and while I did include a blocker on both sides, it did little to prevent the carnage that ensued. Secondly, I'd change the way I handled voting. I'd still make voting mandatory, because doing that ensures that not only does everyone actively participate in voting, but it's also an easy way for me to check that a player has posted at least once. However, what I would change is the way the lynch was decided. I did the "most votes" method, which hasn't happened as much recently. In hindsight, I should have gone with a majority rules. That also would have lessened the losses. Those were the only two things that really bothered me once I had set the rules. I realized I made these "mistakes" sometime around Day Two, but by then it was much too late. Anyone may post here! Please leave comments, criticisms, praise, heated remarks, walls of text, or tomatoes below! Grades and player evaluations will be up shortly! You may also post your role PM here!
  7. Excalibur TNG: Mafia School Day Four: Power Play Timothy Daniels / Calanon was sitting on the floor of the lounge, extremely drunk and depressed. "What? I had to vote off my closest friend yesterday, and in addition, most of my other friends are dead." Yeah, that would get me too. "Well, I came here to kill you, but this is just sad." "I know. What is this, a Mafia or a Mystery? Just kill me and get it over with." "Just poison me with that mysterious chemical that's been sitting on that table since the Confirmation Thread." Timothy said. So the mysterious figure poured the chemical into Timothy's drink. "Cheers, friend." And Timothy drank the booze mixed with chemicals. And he died. Jeff Yates / getdamonkey came into the room to find Timothy lying dead on the ground. "Oh wow. He's dead. Poor guy. Wait, I'm being shown. I know what that means." "It means you're going to die, I'm afraid." And that was the end of Jeff. "Once again you voted off the right person, but you managed to mess it up at night. Jordan Foster / Comrade Commander was a member of the League of Purists. However, both Timothy Daniels / Calanon and Jeff Yates / getdamonkey were Loyalists. Keep up the good work today." ~~~ Players: Command School: Warren Thompson - Played By: lego3364 Medical School: Adam Powers - Played By: jluckhaupt Sciences School: Willie Spencer - Played By: Tohst The Dead: Melinda Fox - Played By: Xenophobic Monoxide - Voted off Day One, Loyalist Issac Osborne - Played By: TheLazyChicken - Phasered on Night One, Loyalist Emily Goodwin - Played By: Dragonfire - Blown up on Night One, Loyalist Greg Kennedy - Played By: Lego Spy - Lynched Day Two, League of Purist Fred Rhodes - Played By: Adventurer1 - Shot on Night Two, Loyalist Emma Lane - Played By: vampyre78 - Killed by rocks and water on Night Two, Loyalist Jordan Foster - Played By: Comrade Commander - Voted off on Day Three, League of Purists Timothy Daniels - Played By: Calanon - Drank poison on Night Three, Loyalist Jeff Yates - Played By: Getdamonkey - Shot on Night Three, Loyalist Reserves: 1) nstickney Rules: 1) Every player has received their own character. 8. Excalibur TNG: Mafia School Day Three: Measure of a Man Fred Rhodes / Adventurer1 was working late in the Engineering Classroom trying to figure out a component for an upcoming class. "Look how dirty this place is, the least the host could do is clean it up before taking pictures." Shut up. I told you not to critique the pictures. "You're writing this. You're doing it to yourself." Fred pauses for a moment. "Wait a second." he says. "Does this mean I'm going to die?" "Yes." the figure says. He presses a button to electrocute Fred, but he finds himself unsuccessful. "Hah. I've looked at the original Excalibur when Shadows was electrocuted. This time, I'm wearing safety equipment." "Maybe so, but this there's no safety equipment for this." The figure pulls out a phaser. "Well, I suppose you're right about that, but science is-" But the figure is done listening, and he blasts Fred into a million pieces. "Damn this place needs a scrub." Shut up!! Meanwhile, Emma Lane / vampyre78 is just standing in the lounge for some reason. "It's really convenient that the people that are going to be killed by night actions are always out and about at night, you know?" she says. "Yes, it's really convenient." says the figure who has suddenly appeared. "Hey, wait, what's that over there?" she asks the figure. "Huh? What?" But Emma has fooled the figure, and she runs off. "Wait, Emma! Come back! I have to kill you!" the figure yells. But Emma has run off to the holodeck, where she hopes to hide in an already running program. "What the hell? Islanders? Who the heck is running this program?" She's so lost in her confusion that she doesn't notice that her killer has followed her in, and stands behind her, ready to push. "There's nothing wrong with Islanders. It was a pretty cool theme." "I don't think it was...oh crap." The figure pushes Emma Lane / vampyre78, who probably hits a rock or something. Either way, she's dead. She's definitely going to drown. How graphic do you want this game to be anyway? Creeps. "Wow. They should really install some safety protocols in this place. It's dangerous." "Well, I'll say I'm partially impressed. Greg Kennedy was a member of the League of Purists, so good job on that. However, both Fred Rhodes and Emma Lane were Loyalists, so that's bad. 9. Excalibur TNG: Mafia School Day Two: Where Silence Has Lease Isaac Osborne / TheLazyChicken was walking around outside, breaking the rules. He enjoyed walking in the Academy Gardens because they cleared his mind. "Hello." a mysterious figure said. "Oh please." Isaac said. "I know what happens when you encounter a night action figure in a Mafia Game. You're even holding a comically large phaser behind you." "I mean look at that thing, it's huge. You'd think the guns would get smaller in the future!" Isaac continued. "You're not even going to beg for your life or tell me I'm wrong or anything?" the figure asked. "Wait, I can do that?" But it was too late, the figure had already fired his weapon on the maximum setting. Isaac Osborne / TheLazyChicken was blown apart by the force of the blast. He was no more. Elsewhere, Emily Goodwin / Dragonfire was pacing the lecture hall looking at the datapad the League of Purists had left behind. "Aha!" she exclaimed. "I knew if I looked at this long enough I'd find an answer. I can't wait to tell everyone." Suddenly, a different figure ran into the room. "Emily! You've got to hold onto this briefcase for me!" it said. "What's in it?" "It's extremely important. The Fleet Admiral himself asked me to guard it, but I've really got to use the bathroom and I don't want to get it dirty." "Oh boy!" she said. "I'll be right back. Say, why don't you let me look at this datapad while I'm gone." "Okay!" "I wonder what's inside." KABOOM! And that was all that was left of Emily Goodwin / Dragonfire. As the students entered the Lounge, they found a surprise. A treestump had appeared where the body of the deceased Admiral was. "Students!" she said. "I have important information about my killers!" Suddenly, the lights turned off! "Oh no, not again!" she said. A phaser blast was clearly heard, before someone scrambled and turned the lights back on. The Treestump of Admiral Nacheyav was no more. "You're all doing a really bad job." Bob said. "Melinda Fox, Isaac Osborne, and Emily Goodwin were all Loyalists! 10. Excalibur TNG: Mafia School Day One: Coming of Age The Luna Lounge was packed full of students. Some were studying and some were just relaxing after a rough day of classes. The Science Students were sitting at their table discussing the latest lecture. "My bicorder says that this crystal here is definitely made of Corbomite!" says Willie Spencer. "Try combining it with this tri-oxide compound!" Emma says excited. The Medical Students were discussing a patient that they were assisting while the Command Students talked strategy for the infamous Mobayashi Karu test. Admiral Nacheyav had just ordered a cup of coffee. While she was not a fan of the replicated coffee, she liked visiting the students and showing a presence amongst them. It was not a smart idea. The lights had gone out all of a sudden! There were some screams, the sounds of shuffling feet, and the sound of a cup hitting the floor before the lights went back on. The Admiral was dead. A datapad was carefully placed beside her. Security was called, lead by former Excalibur Security Chief George Harper, who had been promoted to Lieutenant Commander after the incident. "It says here that the League of Purists are responsible for the kill, and that they're back to try and destabilize the Navy!" Everyone gasped, but some people were faking it. "Alright everyone, we're going to scan for fingerprints, look for the weapon that killed the Admiral, and lock you all away until the culprits have been identified." "Not so fast!" a voice called out. "Oh, Fleet Admiral Bob, sir. I didn't expect you to get here so fast." Harper said, disappointed. The Fleet Admiral stepped onto the deceased Admiral, using her body as a platform. "We're going to have a Mafia Game." he declared. "But I've never played mafia before." someone said. "Don't worry, students. I'll teach you how to play. In the meantime though, nobody is permitted to leave this room until the end of the day. At night, you'll be escorted back to your quarters where you'll be restricted to them. Understood?" The students all nodded and went off to discuss the situation amongst themselves. "Shall I call a crew to remove the Admiral's body, sir?" "No. Leave the body here as a reminder." "Very well, sir." ~~~ Players: Command School: Issac Osborne - Played By: TheLazyChicken Emily Goodwin - Played By: Dragonfire Warren Thompson - Played By: lego3364 Medical School: Adam Powers - Played By: jluckhaupt Greg Kennedy - Played By: Lego Spy Sciences School: Willie Spencer - Played By: Tohst Melinda Fox - Played By: Xenophobic Monoxide Emma Lane - Played By: vampyre78 Engineering School: Fred Rhodes - Played By: Adventurer1 Jeff Yates - Played By: Getdamonkey Security School: Timothy Daniels - Played By: Calanon Jordan Foster - Played By: Comrade Commander Reserves: 1) nstickney Rules: 1) Every player has received their own character.
