  1. Back again with another 8 studder, this one being the VW bus featured in the BBC sitcom "The Cleaner", starring Greg Davies. Complete with crime scene clean up kit in the back, accurate decals, and a plethora of SNOT techniques, the free instructions can be downloaded on Rebrickable One of my personal gripes with other LEGO models I've seen with rear wheel spats or "fender skirts" for the americans, is that the rear wheels are recessed by a non insignificant amount compared to the front wheels. My primary aim was to ameliorate this by means of using the half-stud thick panel piece mounted upside-down. Thus, the front and rear wheels are collinear, without sitting too far into the arches. 2. Hi everyone! I am Angle, a new member from Macau. I'd like to share my latest MOC - the modular building version of 221B Baker Street from Sherlock (BBC). This model is inspired by Sherlock - a BBC drama TV series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous Sherlock Holmes detective stories. The building exterior is based on the combination of North Gower Street, which is “Baker Street” in the drama and the Sherlock Holmes Museum in London. The interior is decorated with completed furniture to recreate scenes in the drama. In order to increase playability, the model is hinged in a few places. You can either separate it level by level liked any other modular buildings, or just separate it in the middle liked a dollhouse. The model is constructed on a 32 X 32 baseplate. No stickers is applied. Ground Floor : Speedy’s Sandwich Bar & Cafe, The entrance & corridor of 221B, Mrs Hudson’s kitchen The counter and dining area is based on photos of Speedy’s sandwich bar & cafe I searched from the internet. The toilet, kitchen and storage room are all by my imagination. According to the floor plan I got from the internet, Mrs Hudson’s apartment should be on the ground floor just behind the cafe. However, in order to place the whole building onto a 32 X 32 base plate, I kept the kitchen on this floor but had to move her apartment to the second floor . First Floor : John & Sherlock’s living room, kitchen, Sherlock’s bathroom & bedroom This floor is mostly based on the amazing 360° google map of the 221B interior setting in the drama. Sherlock‘s bedroom was moved from the back to the right-front, for the same reason of Mrs Hudson’s apartment. Some easter eggs such as sherlock’s experiment material(s), the yellow spray paint and the persian slipper are hidden in this messy scene. Second Floor : John ’s bedroom & toilet, Mrs Hudson’s living room & bathroom Unfortunately, John’s bedroom and Mrs Hudson’s apartment were always behind the scene, so this floor is completely based on my imagination. John and Mrs Hudson can access to their own private space through separated door-gates. Mrs Hudson’s bedroom is mainly decorated in light purple. (According to the clothes and accessories she wears in the drama, I guess she is a fan of this colour.) Although no kitchen is at this floor, there is an electric stove for her to make tea. Roof : Mrs Hudson’s roof garden I made a small garden for Mrs Hudson to plant her flowers and vegetables. I am pretty sure Sherlock will frequently "help fertilizing" them after finishing his experiments. Minifigures: At this moment I only finished 4 minifigures :Sherlock, John, Mrs Hudson and Mycroft. All minifigures are created from official minifigure parts. Other characters will be completed at the following updates. LEGO IDEAS: I've submitted this model as a LEGO IDEA project. To everyone who likes this model, I would be very grateful if you can head forward to the following link to give this model your support. 221B Baker Street from Sherlock (BBC)
  3. Presenting my LEGO Architecture interpretation of Caerphilly Castle; a commissioned model for Cadw with Little Big Art. I’ve captured and replicated the architectural essence of Caerphilly Castle, such as the iconic leaning tower and the ruins across the landmark. The structure is designed to provide a true-to-life colour and relative scale depiction adding an extra dimension and feel of authenticity to this detailed recreation of Wales’ biggest castle! 5. At the end of tonight's Newsnight on BBC2, there was a fan LEGO cartoon! It was pretty well done. If you're in the UK, you should be able to catch it soon on iPlayer. You might also be able to see it on BBC America - I'm not sure. Elsewhere, you'll probably need a proxy server.

  7. "The game is on!" Check out the whole scene here! A collaboration between the amazing Hacim Bricks and myself. A few months ago I was approached by the Canadian National Exhibition to do a piece for their Sherlock Exhibit. Luckily Micah and I both happened to be huge fans of the BBC Series so we ended up doing a collab together! Enjoy! . Logo. "come on John, the game is afoot!" Also thanks to my friend Yehezkel for letting me borrow his camera for the photos ^_^
  8. Hi there, Here are some photos of my newest model I displayed at BrickFair VA this past weekend, a diorama depicting the set of the classic BBC Two sitcom Fawlty Towers. The hall tree with dual umbrella stands in the vestibule at the back of this photo can be seen in better detail here. Here's another shot from the con showing the reception desk, the fire bell, and the moose head with a broken antler. Here's a work-in-progress picture showing an alternate corbel design in light grey and some of the winder stairs. Here's what the whole diorama looked like from the front sitting on the table, which provides another view of the staircase. I plan to modify this and post another set of photos once I get some parts I don't yet own and will maybe even build the upstairs or exterior. Thanks for looking, Nathan

Hi, over the last two years I have been designing a new Lego spaceship in LDD 4.3, the Lego model is based on Scorpio from Blake's 7 which was a British Science Fiction series which ran from 1978 to 1981, due to the limits of Lego It is a 80 % accurate, the roof lifts off to reveal the hidden flight deck. The model is 163 studs long, 70 studs wide, 42 studs high ( 50 inches long, 22 inches wide, 12 inches high ), and has 11,981 pieces of Lego Currently redesigning the LDD Lego Scorpio Model to use less slopes and more SNOT Techniques.
