  1. My little son is a big fan of the Lego Speed Champions models. When I saw the Corvette I thought it was a good base to build a "Bumblebee" Camaro. So I started with instructions for the new Speed Champions Camaro, a Transformer from the second movie and built a Speed Champions version of the Camaro used in the film. The idea to build a Legoformer based on the movie Bumblebee was in my mind for years, too. So after building the Speed Champions model I continued with a shell of the Camaro and tried to find a transforming mechanism that was small enough to be squeezed into the 6-wide model. The main idea was to get as close as possible to the Speed Champions model (including the wheel houses and wheels) without visible hinges or gaps. The robot looks more like a "Hulk Buster", but I'm still quite satisfied with the look. The wish to have a Barricade as a rival was right there when "Bee" was finished, so I went on. Black mudguards aren't so easy to get, as there is no model with four of the new ones, yet. After all I bought four Audi models to have all the parts for two Barricades (a Speed Champion for my son and a Legoformer for me). Once more I started with the Speed Champion for my son and modified it to include the transforming function. I really wanted to include the "long arms" of the movie Transformers, so I had to modify the transforming mechanism quite a bit to get the desired result. OK, enough words, time for some pictures. You can find Bumblebee and Barricade on MOCpages and some pictures with a higher resolution on Flickr. I hope you like them :-))

    Les Miserables Barricade

Bonjour! I love the musical Les Miserables, I've seen a stage performance of it, and seen the movie a lot of times. So I made a scene of it, I must apologize, some of the pictures aren't great, and the good ones I photoshopped to be a bit dark and with rain, etc. If you don't have time to scroll through everything, the spoilers contain the best pictures. "Do you hear the people sing?" Next are two pictures, an overview of it, and a blurry picture showing that it can be disassembled easily. The whole thing is constructed on a 32x32 plate. and a 16x32 plate. Also, the buildings have open backs to see inside. On the ends of the buildings are technic holes and pins that allow me to add on more buildings and plates to make the street longer. (Sort of like the modular buildings) Speaking of interiors: "Master of the House!" A side alley between the buildings. I can add on more to either side because of the pins. Also the tan building's credit goes to my brother KingoftheZempk He's working on his ship right now (it is coming really well! I hope you see it soon!) so he couldn't focus all of his time on it. This is perfect with Les Mis in the background. "Fallen from Grace..." \ "At the end of the day!" Here is a front view. This is without the barricade. (All of the buildings have tables, boxes, etc. that I can take out and set up.) Also, note Gavroche and the sewers where Marius and Valjean escape. I'm really proud of that wall, "Red! The blood of angry men!" Last picture, in the middle you can see a grey hinge. The tables are connected this way. It's semi sturdy. I hope you all enjoyed! C&C welcome!
