  1. Hey everyone, I just released one of my newest alternate builds on rebrickable. However, I'd like to know your thoughts on the model itself. Please keep in mind the following limitations of the build. I redesigned the Ford GT from the set 42154 into a classic Caterham 7! This surprisingly was a tough build that I wasn't anticipating. Here are the instruction links https://reb.li/m/160562 - The Ford GT doesn't come with many beams or long-ish panels that can be used to fill out the outer body -It doesn't come with clear lights -Just limitations all around colour as the Ford GT had a lot of gaps this was a factor in the model. As with any alternate builds these issues are not uncommon, so please also see the features that I have tried to implement in the model: Realistic opening hood Fenders move with Steering Steering Working Steering wheel Working Inline 4-piston engine Independent Front Suspension Independent Rear Suspension Detailed interior Realistic Caterham 7 looks Please take a moment to watch the video and tell me what you think of the model!
  2. Here's the last of my three MOCs. This one is a 1977 Holden Torana. It was created to take on the big Falcon's in Australian touring cars, by putting a large 5 litre V8, in what was a comparatively small sedan. It was a great idea, but executed too quickly. The V8 was only tested on a dyno, but when put in a racecar, the high cornering speeds caused oil surges and creating reliability issues. These were fixed in the followup XU1, which became dominant. That didn't stop Holden fans from buying the SLR5000 in droves. My SLR5000 features: - Full independent suspension. - Remote control driven by 2 L motors servo and sbrick. - V8 motor - 4 opening doors, bonnet and boot. 3. AusAFOL

    An Aussie AFOL

G'day All I am an Aussie AFOL from Queensland Australia. I have been into LEGO most of my life but did go through a small dark age. My other passions are woodwork and photography so I often combine these with my passion for LEGO (I create scenes to photograph using lego) I also love filming speed builds of sets and editing them. I hope to get to know you all as being an AFOL is quite odd where I come from and it is great to have this forum to discus anything LEGO with other like minded people. Cheers
