  1. The specs: - 12 legged walker - Driven by 2 Lego Technic Large angular motors - Powered by Buwizz 3.0 - 1 Technic L motor powers the deployable spinning Lego buzzsaw - 1 Technic S angular motor to power the Lego arrow shooter Sorry Lego purists, but I had to use some non-Lego parts in this design: - 4.7mm aluminum tubes front run the width of the robot providing lightweight articulation of the legs in lieu of plastic axles - Stainless steels axles are used throughout the driveshaft due to the inherent limitations of backlash and breakage caused by the Lego plastic axles - Small nuts are threaded onto the upper leg pivots to maintain the connection as Lego bushes simply cannot retain the axles given the duty cycles.

    [MOC] Centaur w/ Tailgunner

Centaur w/ Tailgunner (1) by socalbricks, on Flickr Centaur w/ Tailgunner (2) by socalbricks, on Flickr Some time after the city of O'Rai was destroyed, it civilians, now nomadic, encountered a clan of centaurs. Both groups had come into conflict with the various gangs of robbers and mercenaries that patrolled the plains and woodland of southwest Avalonia. A heavily armed, coordinated and agile cavalry was needed. The two groups chose to band together, and came up with the idea of combining a centaur and rider, with both of them often training together at a young age. This strategy would prove quite effective, with horde after horde of robbers falling to hoof, blade, and arrow. Riders now had a "cavalry" they could coordinate attacks with, and centaurs had their flanks (their one weak point) protected. --------------------------- A few months ago, back when I was researching weapons I wanted my centaur character (Ayra) to carry, I stumbled upon video by a YouTuber named Shadiversity, who mentioned that one of a centaur's best weapons would be a friendly human/elf/drawrf/etc. riding on its back. This gave me some ideas, and I got to building. For simplicity's sake, I chose to use Ayra as a template. On top of the addition of a "tailgunner", I also added clothing/barding to the character's lower/"horse half". This mitigated the open studs that existed on the original version, and in my opinion makes things look much cleaner overall. The Atomic Arrow

This is my Nightline City entry for the Lego Speeder Bikes Racing League contest. The Atomic Arrow is an extremely fast speeder bike named after its dart-like shape and neon-green glow. Equipped with a gamma fusion engine, hard-light stabilizer wings, and powerful thrusters, this lean, mean, racing machine was built for speed! You can see it here racing down the Nightline City Raceway at breakneck speeds piloted by its rider Jade Lightning. Atomic Arrow front by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr In addition to the main thruster, the bike also features two smaller steering thrusters. Atomic Arrow back by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr The underside of the Atomic Arrow features a pair of hoverpads that keep it airborne. Atomic Arrow bottom by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr I hope you like it, and race on!

[MOC] Green Arrow vs Sports-Master Redux

Today, I bring you what is probably my favorite build of mine so far. Awhile ago I shared with the community a MOC of a museum and it was Green Arrow vs Sports-Master. I wasn't too fond of it but it wasn't bad. Anyways, let's talk about the build... I had this as an idea to add into my Daredevil series on Flickr but I decided since Green Arrow is my favorite DC Hero I decided that this was more of a Star City/Seattle Skyline. I'm very happy with the result. Disappointed with how long it took but I learned a lot about building with all that time. And I'm very happy that I took all this time to make this. Green Arrow is the basic GA fig with green arms and dark green vambraces from brickforge along with dark green hands. I really love their vambraces so I gave Sports-Master some too! My original idea was to raise up GA's building a bit more and then have the building Sports-Master is on be an apartment with Clark Kent looking out the window from his kitchen. I have a pic or two of it but it looked pretty awful. So I decided to not try to go full blown try hard on my first time building something like this. Sports-Master is also a combo of Space Police and Robot Cop legs with an Extremis Soldier's torso, a clone pauldron, Hawkman's face, the CMF Hockey Player helmet and the Hoth Trooper's goggles. Anyways, here's the build! (The old build is right here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99499 ) Full Size along with a story! Can be seen here: https://www.flickr.c...-legocomicgroup C&C More than Welcome! Thanks for stopping by to look at this!
