[MOC] Temple of the Black Panther - 4 Adventures through time

Dear adventurer, this is the tale around the Temple of the Black Panther, follow the map and you will probably find it´s secrets... Deep in the south american jungle a shadow strikes through the thicket - the black Panther. It is worshipped by the native people and therefore they build a temple in his honour. To honour the god of the panther, they worship him with gifts of gold and blood... The adventures Part1: Clash of cultures After the landing of the spanish armada, they set forth into the jungle, seeking for the gold around the myths of el dorado. They made contact with the people and shared knowledge and goods so they could make a deal to get a map to the famous sectret temple in the jungle. With this help they managed to reach the tempel and made conttact with the prist of the panther. They have been welcomed friendly but it did not take long before the obsession for gold took over their minds... Part2: The black panther Years later, the ruins of the temple still resist the nature. A native strives through the jungle and came across already forgotten tempel. Suddenly the panther himselfs shows up and the native fled back into the jungle. Part3: Indiana Jones Getaway A shot bursts through the jungle! In the last second Indy jumps out of the way of the bullet across the big ants with the help of his whip. The russian agent has the choice, let him escape or confront herself to the dangers of the jungle? Part4: From Dusk Till Dawn - final szene (only open if you already know the movie) Extra: Nighmode and view from above Treasure hunt In the MOC is a hidden set, can you spot it? Ay seamates! I got some new fotos but had problems with the background due to size, hope you will enjoy anyway: Bienvenidos a Cartagena! Lower your anchor, take a bottle of rum and relax from your adventurous voyage through the caribbean sea! Puerto de Cartagena by Captain Störtebricker The harbour should reasamble the harbour of Cartagena de Indias which intense impression has burned into my mindn after a visit there. The city was one of the first foundations made by the spanish and became one of the connection point for the gold and silver routes. The fortifications of the city have been raided several times until they have been build as strong that no one could conquer them again. In 1585 the famous pirate Sir Francis Drake did so and conquered and looted the city. In the same year the main cathedral was finished, too. So I hope you can see what brought me to this idea. The harbour consists of 3 parts (by now...): El castillo: The fort on the hill could welcome you with a big volley so be sure that you are coming in on a frienndly mission. It is situated on a rock with a cave underneath to hide some stuff you dont want to bring into the harbour. For pirates a skeleton shows then how they will be threated. The main tower is already been demolished and now converted to a small barrack. In front of the dorr there is a trap door throwing you into the cave. The fortress should be way bigger but for me it works as representing the first corner of the main fort. The doors lead you into the city... The colonial warehouse: With the warhouse I tried to reassamble the famous colonia architecture. I features a fishing gear shop and a warehouse whti a big balcony. From there you can have a nice view on the main square in front of the cathedral... The cathedral: The main cathedral looks like a fortification but due to the rich inhabitants it has nice stained glass windows. But these inhabitants do not belive very much in god but more in gold so the altar is filled up with all the treasures stolen from the surrounding natives all around the caribbean. So come in and take a closer look! The cathedrals has detachable roofs and can be accessed by minfigs on all levels. Besides the cathedral there is right now the tavern from POTC but it can easily be removed to continue the pier to expand the harbour... (which I hope I can do!) Hi everybody! after seeing the wonderulf WIP "The Parrot" I wanted to share my old MOC on the small white hull pieces of the 6280 as well: The Armada Brig The ship is build only with original Lego-parts except a few more strings and it was the first one I build using all the modern slopes. Therfore I was very proud of the bow which was raised by to rows of slopes and the working achor mechanism there. The captains cabin can be opened from top. It includes a big table, a collection of flags taken from all the different sunk ships and all the other stuff a captain needs: The spanker sail is made out of two of the 6280 sails as well: Take a look at my Flickr Album Armada Brig to see more datailed fotos! It's been too long! This build started as an Ideas project: I wanted a small chapel for an island town. The stained glass got more and more complicated so the chapel kept growing. Given TLG's hesitation to build religious structures, I decided a large chapel wouldn't cut it. But the chapel would fit well in BoBs, so I added a graveyard, fountain, procession, and here we are. Originally, this was supposed to be a nod to the old Imperial Armada line... note the color choices, crests, etc. Let me know what you think! This was originally going to go to the side of the chapel, but it was just too ornate... so I moved it to the town 'square' Recognize the names? Due to a personal visit, my first creation is mostly inspired by the "Castillo de San Pedro de la Roca" also called "Castillo del Morro" from Santiago de Cuba, but also by other Morros from Havana and San Juan in Puerto Rico. "El morro" refers to the rock or the hill, the fortress is built on and had mostly its purpose in keeping the towns save from pirates. I wanted especially make the round towers, but step by step added more of the details, eventhough the real and complex form is not possible to rebuild, at least for me. So I kept it boringly square-shaped, but still like the (not) end result quite a bit. I will make some 1-1 comparisons, but first I'd like to tell you the story of Captain Valiant(You can read it or just skip it and scroll down and see the result): You remember Captain Valiant? Sure you do.... hmm, well actually I didn't knew who he was was until I heard his amazing story: He was the Captain of the Santa Cruz, the Armada Flagship, although he doesn't like to mention that the real leader was not him but the admiral. So, after they conquered all the caribbean and the southern seas, found the eldorado and got tons of gold, he decided to retire and start a banana plantation. Captain valiants vision by Victory Count, en Flickr It was there, 5 years ago, when he heard rumours about a bay full of bloody pirates and they were coming to get the gold. Standing at the beach, tasting his rrich flavoured self grown fresh banana, he had a vision about a fortress that would keep any pirates away, and keep the town, plantation, habitants, goods and gold save. He would call it El Morro: "El morro de Capitan Valiente". The last dinner and blessings in the church by Victory Count, en Flickr He went to the local church and asked the priest for his blessings for this new project. And of course the priest accepted quickly, if he just keeps those sinners away. "Yes captain" responds the cook, but his eyes wander once again to the horizon, where he sees that shipwreck which always fascinated him. And I'm not sure if I'm more shocked by his hair or the impression that I had for a moment, seeing something suspicious through the window. But it wasn't the moment to tell the captain, so I left his cabin. Unfortunately i just have pictures from the LDD yet. Not very detailed, but I liked to give this little chapel its place. Tried to add the Christ minifig, but that was rather weird looking. MOC: Large landscape with Islanders, Imperial Guards, Soldiers and Arm

Hello All, I have exhibited at Legoworld in the Netherlands this year with a landscape based on the first pirates series. The landscape is 7 meters long and 1.25 wide. I created this landscape with my brother and it took ,roughly said, 5 months to built. We wanted a bigger landscape, but we did not have that many blue baseplates. The landscape contains a small town with a wall around it. There is a small harbor and a bit of countryside. Behind the wall is a big sea with several Islands of the Imperial soldier. There is one big island with Islanders. The island contains a volcano, several waterfalls and cottages of the Islanders. Across the sea is a fortress of the Imperial Armada. In the end corners of the landscape are several pirate hideouts and a city of gold (Eldorado?). So my birthday is coming up and i just LOVE the Imperial Armada minifigures. If anybody here has any idea where to get some, please let me know. I've tried Ebay and Bricklink, but I don't think they have enough to quench my conquistador lust!

[pid][/pid] 161A Hi there! Some time back I was lucky to obtain the hull parts for almost 2 Spanish ships. So I was curious to find out how far I could get in re-inventing the good old Spanish Armada! However, I tried to include some modification - partially because I preferred my ideas, partially because of lack of bricks So, here they come (as they are in blue and white I tried to go for a new background, but I will admit easily that red is not the right colour for the sea...) This is something which I quite like: You can remove the grey part of the deck to access the hold. There they go, sailing away into the sunset: This was a bit of a retro-approach. So I will go for something more modern next time. (And more heavily armed...) Till then, happy easter!

I've had the armada flagship hull laying around since I bought it (only the hull) 2-3 years ago and I finally found the insiration to build something with it. It was a truly challenging build due to how narrow the pre-fab hull is. But I think I where able to pull it of in the end. This also happens to to be my very first Brig, Gallery Hope ya'll like it and have a great day!
