    (MOC) Outdoor Hockey Stadium

Hello Eurobricks world, Having followed the site for a long time, I figured it was time to put up some of my own work to get some feedback (good or bad). First thing I want to share is a project I've been working on here and there for a couple years. I present Delbaere Stadium. This is being designed as an outdoor stadium (nothing like this here in Canada) Current Diemensions Length: 52.5" 133.5cm Width: 58" 147cm Height(Top of the scoreboard): 13" 33cm The Stadium has over 800 seats, a zamboni, dressing rooms, private suites, broadcast booth Under construction: Finishing touches on structure, 2 flood lights, concession stands, ticket booth, other side of private suites. I'll update it as construction continues. Stadium Scoreboard View facing east: View facing West:
  2. Prologue: I must admit, I’ve never thought to be able to reveal a proper entry that soon, but all the sparks came so suddenly and all of those fitted into the concept in my head, that the first digital model was ready in 1 night. Some fine tuning was done during another night, and now it sits beside me in it’s Brick Built Beauty. Excuse me for presenting via digital pictures for now, but this way I can give You nicer overview (according to my actual skills), live pictures and video will be done, of course. As it is basically ready, I decided to share it as inspiration to the community, I hope to see many awesome and fun creatures! Let me introduce my entry for the TC11 contest: Name: Bison - my robot is chubby, robust, has lot of power to push and for butting heads, and has biungulate heels to kick all around – just like a bison. My main objectives were to use 2 motors only (for intuitive control, which is essential in the battle arena), and to build a double sided robot, which is functional upside-down as well. Also, I wanted to follow the regular MOCing rules: ease of build, BB access must be simple, legal techniques (LDD compatibility). Parameters: Skid steering 4x4 drive via friction gears Motorized kick-heels via friction gears (signature move) Massive dozer blade (? signature move ?) Very robust structure (to survive rough beating) Modular build 439 parts (without batteries) 37x26x9 studs 1070 gramms (with Ansmann rechargable batteries) 0 gears The 2995 tyre works here very well, as it is more grippy than the average LEGO tires, and so is the 55978 too, as result I got a nice combo for my friction gear set-up. This can provide quite a lot power, but also works as clutch in extreme situations (motor protection). The only deviance what I had to apply (with staff approval): to fit the 2995 tyre to the inside of the 2996 rim lip (Click for picture - on the right), so I could fit them perfectly on the wheel hubs, without building those in offset with the housing. As here can be seen, it is pretty crowded in the inside, which I am very pleased with. After some minutes of test, I am satisfied with the result, it can easily push 3 kgs (milk cans), quite fast, and really works like I imagined. Let’s get to pictures, update will come! EDIT: video is ready, see post below.

    LEGO Geonosian Arena MOC

This is my rendition of the Geonosian Arena from STAR WARS Attack Of The Clones. This has always been one of LEGO's most glaring omissions from the Star Wars line, hence why I decided to test out this MOC. OK, it's not excessively massive or complicated, but I just think it makes a neat little playset. Comment your opinions. Also don't forget to check out my LEGO IDEAS page for more information on this, and please support! :) from there you can read all about the design plan, the history, and also see any other photos of the MOC. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/158217
  4. Hi, to all ninjago fans from Staslegomaster. I like Ninja sets since 1998. I know, there’s no instruction how to combine ninjago sets 2504, 2519, 2520, 2254 into a super arena. Perhaps because it‘s obvious how to do it. I’m sure if one creates Battle arena 2520, then the passage on the right will look like a red-eyed skull, there’ll be a stand for weapons below and a red passage on the left. Skeleton bowling 2519 is attached so that the red passage becomes the entrance. Instead of the stand for weapons we put 2504(dodju spinjitsu) so that its gates become the arena’s entrance. There are special pieces at the edges of the sets. But I don’t know what to attach to the red passage to finish the super arena. Can it be 2254 ? I don’t have it, so I’m not sure. Or an exclusive set? Try to create it and put its pictures here. These are old sets but digital design can help. Hope you like the idea/Thanks a lot.
  5. Welcome to my: "Star Wars: Geonosis Arena Execution" Creation! This is a Geonosis Arena LDD Moc which I have rendered and submitted to the LEGO Ideas site. If it reaches 10,000 supporters it will be reviewed by LEGO and can become a official Set! If you have Facebook you can use it to have signup quickly and support the project. Otherwise you can register manually. You can support and take a look at the project here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/116419 If you wan't to further help the project you could share it on other appropriate sites and spread the word. I've been working on making the Geonosis Arena for years probably from 2002/2003 to the present day and I think I've nearlly hit my limit on the development of my designs for both the creatures and the structure of the arena, (more of the arena was in my previous projects) . This time around I've made custom designs for a new version of Padme, Obi-Wan and Anankin as seen in the Republic Gunship,(75021) set which adds a lot more to a potential Geonosis Arena set. I've also continued to update the four pillars making them more robust and movie accurate. Did I mention, they can fall over just like in the film when the Acklay charges against one smashing it and when one is hit from a Geonosian sonic cannon. Don't forget if your watching please leave a support. This would mean the world to me if it got to the LEGO Review and I think it has a good chance to be made since it was never officially released as a set before and it's not something massively huge so there is a good chance LEGO could consider it. May the force be with you. -Thunderous Blade

    [MOC] Petranaki arena

Here's my entry to the imperiumdersteine MOC Olympics. I'm quite sattisfied with the outcome after not building anything for quite some time ...
  7. Hereby my entry to WZ4 for the high council. Sorry about the short post - I am posting from my phone. WZ 4 by Beorthan, on Flickr In the midst of the general melee some enterprising business man has opened what is left of the old arena and is selling tickets and drinks for anyone interested in seeing the fight first hand. Right now, a wolfman, from a tribe in firm support of the High Council, is about to, quite literally, bring the hammer down on a Desert King Zombie Knight, undoubtedly smashing his helmet and all its contents... The people love the show... // Next WZ: Queenscross

    LDD MOC - The Spectrum

Hello all. Remember that "WIP" I posted some time back? Well, this post is a new result of it: a LEGO Digital Designer approximation of The Spectrum, a popular sports and entertainment arena that once stood in what is called the South Philadelphia Sports Complex from 1967 to 2009, before being demolished completely by 2011. Countless sporting and entertainment events were held therein. Comments/suggestions are welcome.

    MOC: The Initiation

For my second entry for the Clone Wars Community Build, here's another scene from the orginal cartoon that shows Asajj Ventress' initiation. Looking for a new apprentice, Count Dooku travels to Rattatak where Asajj Ventress proves herself to him by defeating an entire gladiatorial arena full of various beasts, droids, and warriors. The Initiation by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Dooku punishes Ventress for claiming to be a Sith and calling him "an old fool who knows nothing of the Dark Side" by shooting her with force lightning until she passes out. The Punishment by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I hope you liked it. Can you guess what my next entry will be about?
