custom Incredibles super villain "Kodachrome" + colorfully-painted truck w/ laser cannon - 70921 MOD
Murdoch17 posted a topic in LEGO Licensed
Backstory of Mr. Incredible super villain "Kodachrome": Originally from the far future of 2525 where expression, color, and are virtually outlawed and emotion heavily suppressed in order to achieve prefect uniformity, Simon Paulson was a rebel since birth, quite literally. His eyes had a strange birth defect that let to them changing hue constantly. His parents hid him away in the mid-1940's using experimental time travel technology after he painted their city's mayor's house purple. The parents were supposed to pick him up again in 20 years (their time) but an accident after transit destroyed them and the time machine, stranding him in 1946. He gained a reputation in the intervening twenty year's time as non-conformist, rebel, and eventually an outright villain for painting buildings, streets, people, and even the local sky colors they shouldn't be. He does this using very advanced technology he cobbled together himself, and the colors even can affect people's minds - blue makes them depressed, red = angry, yellow is fearful, etc. Mister Incredible has faced Kodachrome (his adopted alias since 1946) multiple times during commission of his crimes which have included: - painting the Statue of Liberty blue and causing tourists inside to become severely depressed - turning the Golden Gate bridge purple to cause jealousy incidents across San Francisco - turning Frozone and Mr. Incredible's suit's yellow (intense fear) to allow him to sabotage a early US rocket launch un-hindered. (stopped by Elastigirl on this occasion) - robbing several banks, museums, and laboratories to create a time machine to cause colorful havoc in ALL times (coalition of Frozone, Mr. Incredible, and Gazerbeam stopped him and his army of mind-controlled civilian minions) Actual Name: Simon Paulson Super-Alias: Kodachrome Villainy Grade: A Status: At Large Mental ability: Genius level intellect, criminally insane The truck Kodachrome uses for his colorful criminal caper's when they need to be mobile. Rear of the truck, which is a MOD of set 70921 (Harley Quinn Cannonball Attack) from The LEGO Batman Movie's third wave. Under the hood, showcasing the engine. (Two blue slope parts are missing from this area, while the 4 x 4 dishes on the laser cannon are missing this print as well.) Yes, this is 100% build-able and will be constructed IRL for use with Mr. Incredible and his car I've just finished building. (sneak peek above in B&W) Also, if you can guess the song and it's artist I was listening to when I created all this, you win a cookie. Comments, questions, and complaints welcome!- 1 reply

"A highly feared bounty hunting vessel in legally uncharted and unknown space. Known to use black hole portals through a forbidden dark matter drive as battle and heist tactics. Piloted by a bounty hunter known only as The Phasemaster, one of the most wanted and powerful criminals in the galaxy. If you're being hunted by this vessel, immediately report to Benny's Spaceship Building Academy with haste." So here's my entry for BSBA (Cat B) contest - The Necromaw Reaper! The first and only (if nothing happens in two days ) villain entry! Credits to @ExeSandbox for his amazing help on the renders! Let's start with the Pre-Spaceship-fied MOC - An ancient temple shrine The idea of using this came while I was in the middle of building a temple MOC when this contest pops out. I was searching for ideas and while also looking at a version of the above MOC (which is also piece of the temple structure), the idea of a spaceship with a face came to me. Which I then decide to use the shrine as a template for my spaceship. I had to make some modification and additions with the original version until what it is now as more ideas on how the ship would be starts taking shape and also trying to make this MOC a tad complete too. But ultimately, it's still a MOC that's also a piece from another MOC. And now, here's the spaceship when the "Bennyfication" process is done! (Well, personal lore-wise, its more of a "Bad-ification" since the ship and its pilot are, well...criminals.) A big factor of building this spaceship was following the rule of this not being an alt-build so the modification was mostly adding stuffs to it. Also, I wanted the additions to be in a different color scheme. However, those parts do not exist in that color scheme that I want so I eventually had to stick to the original color scheme. It's weapon system are mostly at the skull face - Side Blaster Cannons, Eyebeams Blasters and a Flamethrowing mouth! Here's the back - It also has a rear defense system - The back fins fires flares that neutralizes blast, beams, missiles or any incoming ballistic object should the Reaper be pursuit. Of course these aren't used that often as black holes is its greatest offense and defense. But it should be useful in emergencies. The back also has an exhaust for spewing out smokescreens as a trick tactic or to cover it's escape should things go wrong. The side - The body is built to store the bounty hunter's treasures and while it lacks side cannons, it makes up with it's tank-iness! Which is also protected by shields emitted from the black "ingots". Definitely won't be good if the spoils gets blown off! Here's some images for the top view - Now we meet the feared bounty hunter himself - The Phasemaster in all his dark glory! Here's him in the cockpit too - And now for some additional features - On the top of the ship, there's a hatch for The Phasemaster to store his bounty payments for his huntings! This ship has no need for any actual landing gear. It uses energy-matter beams to hold the ship up while it's landed. The matter will phase out when the ship is needed to fly. The main reason The Phasemaster is wanted by Benny's Spaceship Building Academy is because he does hunt BSBA agents for sport and of course, some bounty too. That agent there is definitely going to need some backup. Would the other BSBA entries be able to finally dish out justice to The Necromaw Reaper this time? (The Image below is just for fun, not beholden to the contest, just wanted an image of this spaceship interacting with a "Benny".) That's my entry for BSBA's Cat B contest! I hope you all enjoyed it. And best of luck to all the other amazing and awesome entries!

[Digital Render] Makuta Teridax by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr "Little Toa, you have not yet begun to see even the barest outlines of my plans. I have schemes within schemes that would boggle your feeble mind. You may counter one, but there are a thousand more of which you know nothing. Even my … setbacks … are planned for, and so I shall win in the end.“ — Makuta Teridax to Toa Metru Vakama, Time Trap * * * If you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info! I also now have a Patreon page, so please consider supporting!

A fearsome, curvy LEGO Bionicle/Hero Factory villain I built this week. She stands 42 modules/33.6 centimeters/13.25 inches tall and has 26 points of articulation. Her name means "poisonous rose". Check out the Flickr album for more photos! Feedback welcomed!

Coming in at over 600 pieces (approximately 85% CCBS, 12.5% Technic and 2.5% System) and 55 cm (1 foot 10 inches) tall is my Makuta contest entry! He features two sets of wings, a Mask of Ultimate Power with adjustable facial expressions, a traditional villainous cape, ten tentacular tendrils and the stability of a Hero Factory 2.0 figure. Furthermore, his 70 cm (2 feet 4 inches) wingspan can fold up behind his cape to act as an extension of said cape. As you can see, he towers over any other CCBS figure. Even Grievous only comes up to his waist. Anyway, his gallery contains many more pictures showing off his various features.

Shapeshifter by Phoenix Custom Minifigures
DarkKnight7 posted a topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hey everyone! Watch out LEGO heroes and citizens, Shapeshifter has arrived to infultrate your collections! One of two new custom minifigures available, Shapeshifter will feature front head, torso, and leg printing (with high quality professional pad printing), as well as back head and torso prints. And if here shapeshifting wasn't dangerous enough for the LEGO heroes in your collection, she also comes packing a BrickArms 1911 v2 pistol, perfect for quick lethal strikes. One aspect that is most unique for this figure is here new red hair piece. This piece was dyed to perfection by our custom community's own customBRICKS, so the quality is very good. Check out the figure's page to see an actual pic of the piece as it will look on the final figure (click the link for our site on our signature below). What is great about dyeing the piece is that it binds to the plastic and helps retain that smooth LEGO feel. None of that paint feel or peeling. Thanks again to HJ Media for producing this great render! What do you guys think? Shapeshifter Render by HJ Media Studios Figure designed by Phoenix Customs- 11 replies

Finally I got the parts I need and I made the biggest Sentinel in the X-men series, the Master Mold. Being a giant Sentinel created by Dr. Trask, Master Mold is to control other sentinels and produce even more sentinels to hunt down the mutants, hence the name. In the LEGO 76022 set, the sentinels look like the comic version instead of the movie (the purple ones not the transforming ones). I keep the same style and make a boss version. Instead of being a building-size robot, I just make it a more muscular robot with the same gold touch for its hands and feet. That will probably give the X-Men a headache for now! It is a small MOC, and fits great with my superhero display area. Hope you like it!

(All pics link to Flickr) Function Video (5 seconds) I was realizing the day before yesterday that the 2015 Toa have one strategic advantage over the 2015 BIONICLE villains: none of the villains appear to be able to fly. So I thought I'd even the odds. Obviously, I had to use a few placeholder parts, but I still think it conveys the general idea I was going for. Skull Ripper includes 87 pieces total, and so I imagine she would hit about the same $15 price point as the other skull villains. Skull Ripper's torso features the same Technic function as Skull Basher's, but here it serves two very different purposes. From a standing position, it allows Skull Ripper to stab an opponent with her talons. In flight, it allows her to flap her wings. Ideally, I'd prefer Skull Ripper to use Tr. Blue instead of Tr. Light Blue, but from a practical standpoint I found that I had a more useful range of pieces in Tr. Light Blue. Thoughts, comments, criticism? Please share! This is my first MOC I've completed to my satisfaction in a few months, so I'm very proud of it, but I'm sure there's room for improvement!

Because every evil villain needs a top hat... My third entry for BFTGM. A revamp of this moc.

Hi everyone! It has been some time since my last creation, and now I am back on track! My first task is to expand my MOC in the superhero realm, and let's do something before the official Lego Justice League sets come in 2015! "Some men just wanna watch the world burn." - Alfred Pennyworth in The Dark Knight (movie) Well, in the DC Comic world, Batman really needs to face a villain who only burns things. Firefly is a crazy man who knows all the pyrotechnics and explosive objects. This time, he comes back with even crazier toys: his new jet pack and the flame tank, Fire Lynx. Guess Batman will have a headache to capture him, as his usual suit is not ready yet for the heat! Firefly and his Fire Lynx Burn baby burn! Firefly and his Fire Lynx The Fire Lynx is a flamethrower tank, and it has four crawlers allowing it to run on different kinds of terrain. This is the overview from the front, showing the cockpit: Firefly and his Fire Lynx And the back overview, where you can see the cooling fan for the compressor area. Firefly and his Fire Lynx I also created the Firefly minifigure, which is slightly based on the game Batman: Arkham Origins. Firefly and his Fire Lynx Firefly and his Fire Lynx Firefly and his Fire Lynx Firefly's flamethrower gun can be clipped to the roof of the tank, while the jetpack can be stored at the back of Fire Lynx, between the two fuel tanks: Firefly and his Fire Lynx Firefly and his Fire Lynx I guess Batman needs to think about some special gadgets to capture Firefly. But more are coming against Batman! Stay tuned!

The antidermis portion is linked by a stalk onto the rest of the body, with a shield being placed over it. Controlled by the Makuta, these a retheir machines of war against the toa. (Made from a meddly of the three constraction sets I own; Stormer's Freeze Machine, BA Rocka, Scarox) And sorry for the quality, my camera's pretty awful

Remember a while back, be it on deviantArt(can I say that site name?) or here, that I posed up a picture of a black, muscled HF-build torso, and promised a figure would be completed around it? The muscled black HF torso, that looked similar to this? Well wait no more, it's finally here! The one, the only... Dark Matter!? That's right. Evidently he has returned, Upgraded to a new body(and in a sense, a new mind), and ready to lead his forces against the Factory once more. By the way, his upgrade has increased his height exponentially. He now stands at about 2 standard-size Heroes tall. 'Shine' and my panda-like Hero demonstrate here. He's got quite an arsenal, with his shoulder-mounted plasma-bolt cannon, the thrusters in his boots, and his bloodied-up broadsword(not shown), along with his loyal army of Villains. Among these villains is the Red Fist, who you will be seeing more of.. shortly. Comments and criticism are greatly welcomed. More to come soon! -Cirkit
