  1. the lego 10220 VW Camper Van is a really iconic masterpiece, but i want one for workers so i have made a flatbed/pickup which is called in germany "pritsche" the interior of the cab and the engine bay is nearly the same like the original 10220.... ....but it is fully RC for drive i use a PF-L motor and for steering a servo a first testdrive, a final vid will follow i hope you like it
  2. Hello everyone, I was looking for a way to make a smaller scale rc model and then I remembered the “electric motor with steering mechanism and receiving unit” ( http://alpha.brickli...lor=86#T=C&C=86 ), which LEGO made back in 2009. For those of you who havn't already seen it... This is my first experiment with it: More photos: https://www.flickr.c...157659388973900 I hope you like it
  3. Hello everyone Here is my VW T1 Crew Cab in Red-Grey. The chassis is built to Sheepo's blueprint. The only change - the holder for the IR receiver. The body is built loosely based Sheepo. Almost closed body. 3 opening doors. Loading area with 3 walls to open. simple remote control. Here are some pictures ... more pictures: http://www.technic-dialog.de/Homepage/index.php?page=24&album=1608 enjoy...:-)
  4. Here I am with another Bulli. This time it's something really special. An Austrian engineer recently retrofitted a 1966 VW Bus Bulli T1 with late-’60s Bombardier caterpillar tracks and a DJ sound system capable of causing an avalanche… The Adventuremobile isn’t riding on wheels anymore; instead, the Bulli body has been placed on the chassis of a 1960 Bombardier B01 Spurgrat snowcat. The T1 Snowcat can reach up to 30 mph (50 km/h) in the snow and when parked a DJ booth pops out of the freakin’ roof! Fresh mixes are bumped toward the crowd by way of a 1,000 watt subwoofer, 2 × 300 watt speakers, a five-channel Behringer mixer and a pair of Technics turntables. Let's the party begin! A vintage Ford of Germany Taunus V4 sends power to the left and right tracks via a transmission system that allows the van to move forward, backward, and spin on its own axis. The T1 Adventuremobile version is often used by the ÖAMTC, which is the Austrian automobile association. Specifically, this Bus is being used by ÖAMTC’s youth outreach program, which dabbles in dispensing safe driving advice, travel planning services and other transportation-related informations. It has been hard to make photos because the white bricks I used weren’t all new and some of them were yellowed. Also the black isn’t a easy color to shoot… Anyway I took some pictures and I hope you enjoy. More pictures, details and informations about my T1 Snowcat Adventuremobile: flickr
  5. My entry for Model Team competition. This thing isnt very sirious build, but ive had fun. Its somekind of show dragster van based on VW T1, but very few thing are same as on original. Those things on the right side are air intakes for supercharger. Support wheels, so it doesnt fly away. Some racing colours. Flat floor as should be for a sirious racer, and theres a difusser too. Claustrofobic cockpit. So the rules say the model has to have at least one function. As a dragster dont have many i build badass "doors" (hope it count), And the steering wheel can be moved away :) (was trying on steering many hours, was close, but it wasnt good and it doesnt fit well in that flat floor. Wide open. The heart of the machine. Big V8 engine with millions of horsepower and tourques. Big rpm counter. Rollcage. A big bucket racing seats with 5 point belts. V8 with air intake hoses and exhaust, that black thing is gearbox. More photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/101783996@N06/with/14950986649/
