    [MOC] Red Wasp Stealth VTOL

Hi all, This is my latest moc, the Red Wasp Stealth VTOL. You may hear it landing but you won’t see it coming! This one came together remarkably quickly from an initial idea I had a couple of weeks ago. It looks like a pretty simple build due to its clean outer shell but actually proved to be quite complex to create, particularly the rotor blade engines, which needed axles running deep into the body of each to support their weight and which also freely spin and adjust between flight and hover mode. For anyone interested, the full album can be found on my Flickr page here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/164260086@N06/albums/72157717218068297 Thanks for looking.

  3. My first alternate build of Clay's Falcon Blaster Fighter 70351. The plane tilts the wings and rotors, the six stud shooters on the wings can be tilted as well. The flick fire missiles are attached to the rear wing. The front cockpit section can be detached and easily turned into an escape pod with opening canopy. The secondary cockpit for Clay's bot can be opened as well. The plane also has a storage for Clay's sword and shield and a cargo space for the chest with an extra Nexo Power in the rear.
  4. Lance's VTOL I would like to introduce my first alternate build of LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS Lance's Mecha Horse 70312. The VTOL plane can tilt and spin all four engines, features opening cockpit and cargo bay, folds the weapons for mid-air jousting. Flamethrower is riding a combat scooter and Lance's bot is flying the hovershield. The building tutorial can be found in my Youtube channel. And the original model.

    [MOC] Vic Viper V.T.O.L. Jumpship

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to present the Vic Viper Vertical Take-Off and Landing Jumpship. Yes, I couldn't resist the temptation to have 3 "V"s in a row. :P I'll put some photos of it in the body of this topic later, but as is, here's a link to the MOCpages page for it. Please note, the page is still under construction, I still have to add and describe some views of the ship and I've had trouble just sitting down and doing it. However, you can pretty much get the gist from what's there. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/411187 Hope you all enjoy!
  6. My build for the contest uses sets #8068 and #42020, which have 408 and 145 pieces respectively, for a total of 553 pieces. I used 490 on the ship and 14 on the stand. Leaving 34 and 29 pieces unused. The Leftovers by CleverNiftyDude, on Flickr Major pin and axle shortage with these two sets. VTOL Heli-plane by CleverNiftyDude, on Flickr The stand,...barely stands, but I was able to get some cool banking shots,... as it slowly fell over. VTOL with Pilot by CleverNiftyDude, on Flickr Just happen to have a matching Technic Fig for scale,..Nice! Unfortunately my entry post will be pilot-less, as he is not part of either set. VTOL Cockpit by CleverNiftyDude, on Flickr A close-up of the pit, with assorted NF controls and interface. VTOL Top view by CleverNiftyDude, on Flickr Functions incude: Manual 90 deg. swivel of wings/props/landing wheels Manual tail fin rotation HOG prop spin. HOG Ratcheted rescue basket I think I'm going to try to get a few more photos before I enter it. Cheers.

    The Buzzard

I've had this sitting around collecting dust for a while so I thought I;d finally get around to posting it. It's a generic sci-fi VTOL design, mainly built to experiment with wedges and SNOT techniques. Quite pleased with the end result. By the way, this is my first post on this subforum! Your comments are greatly appreciated.

    Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR.3

This model is a heavily modified version of my McDonnell Douglas AV-8B MOC. I have shortened the fuselage, lengthened the nose, lowered the canopy, redesigned the wing and "pogo" wingtip gears, replaced the 25mm rotary cannon pod system with the GR.3's double ADEN cannon pods, armed it with 2 MATRA rocket pods and 2 AIM-9 Sidewinder air to air missiles, and replaced the forward swiveling exhaust nozzles. The aircraft represents a Harrier GR.3 deployed during the Falklands War with the British Royal Air Force, and has the RAF two tone dark green and grey paint scheme from that period. Feedback is much appreciated! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/384773

    [MOC] V-22 Rager

Every teen wants the new V-22 Rager. The sleek and compact design allows for excellent travel distance. With VTOL technology, the Rager is the newest and safest vehicle in our line. With three landing struts, it lands and is very stable. The V-22 is electric, and a charging station is included as a stock item. Every anxious parent wants to keep tabs on their child and the onboard tracking device allows them to do that. The V-22 comes standard with a receiver built into the charging station. My sig-fig posing with the V-22 Rager. I've always thought propeller VTOL vehicles were cool. So why not make a near future one for the MocAthalon? So that's what I did. I tried to design something that was a mix between a sports-car and and dual-rotating propeller helicopter. I am really pleased with the way the nose of the vehicle turned out, has a good "sports-car" feel to it. Built for the Alternate Mode of Transportation category of the MocAthalon. And yes, I did write it like an ad. March 2013 Flickr Set Facebook
