It is a bit embarrassing to say, but I started this model back in November... 2022. It took a lot more work to get the tall lifts to work and for the whole model to run reliably. In the video I show all of the mistakes and learnings made along the way. I have tried to make it as entertaining as possible, and I hope, that you enjoy it. The model started with me wanting to see how many trains can loop or pass through the same point at the same time. A shortage of space was coming up early, and the modified loops required a lot of additional speed for the trains to clear reliably. But with increased speed, also came increased friction, and if you look closely, you can see how much the trains have deposited of red ABS on the sides of the loop tracks! The roller coaster is activated using the "color distance sensor" from LEGO Boost. This sensor is great at communicating when it can be activated, and in my field test, visitors had an easy time figuring out how to interact with the model. Some children stayed for quite some time and activated the roller coaster whenever the light shined green. Unfortunately the model was not yet reliable when it was exhibited, so it required me to be on-site at all times. This latest version should be much better for public display. Only time will tell. If it turns out to be a success at event, then I would like to make it even more complicated with more trains in the "knot". Do you have any good ideas to how to add trains without risking collisions?

The fabulous Fernando Brothers are known for their fine cuisine; and their fun food shacks are the perfect place for a family party. These three food stands started as a simple idea; to make something that looked like life-size food, and that fit into a minifig scale diorama. I've shared it on LEGO Ideas ( https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2fae905f-71cb-450a-a4ef-827ad96fb574 ) Where the number one piece of feedback was they looked like they were from Rollercoaster Tycoon, and that they wanted to add it to their themeparks, so, with the Rollercoaster dropping for VIPs this week, I wanted to share something for people who are looking to build their own theme parks and looking for ideas. The Fries stand was the first I built. Here's an alternate shot, never mind the dust, The Burger came next. Here's a shot with the front of to show the interior (They all have kitchens inside, I wanted them to be functional) And the Shake was last, as well as the trickiest because of the shape. And how to make it look full of liquid, but I think this works pretty well (This was before before the ship in the bottle release) The next step for me will be integrating them into my own themepark. (I've never played Rollercoaster Tycoon, but love the idea of a full themepark display) And I'd love for it to be inspiration for others; what do you think? Hi folks, I would like to share with you my newest Roller Coaster "DIGGER". It was displayed this weekend at the BrisBricks Morayfield Brick Expo and will be displayed later again this year at Chandler. The coaster uses the CDX Blocks track and everything else is LEGO. (Long time lurker, first-time poster here, so please be gentle :) As a great lover of the fairground/ theme parks, I was pretty disappointed last year when we didn't get a Creator Expert Fairground set. I decided to take matters into my own hands and set about designing some rides of my own. I present to you; the Swing Carousel and the Drop Tower! (apologies if these photos are too large; I am nowhere near technically skilled enough to choose sizes myself :) Both rides function exactly like their real life counterparts - in the Chair-O-Planes' case, via lots of gearing and a drive wheel, and in the Drop Tower's case, by a large conveyor belt running up the centre. Here are some videos of them in action: I think that's all I'll say on their design and just let the pictures do the talking. Hello all, I present to you my newest creation : Uni-kitty's Enchanted Castle. Featuring an excellent fruit juice and salad/sandwich bar on the ground floor, with penguin slide and waterfall, pineapples and general craziness. The castle was designed by Uni-kitty one day when he smoked too much of a special plant. He's growing this plan on top of one of his castle turrets. To be a bit more serious, I've combined two of Cloud cuckoos palace, together with the Friends fruit juice bar and also several friends animal packs. What do you think? PS - "too many colours' nu uh it's meant to be crazy :)

I love architecture skyline sets, but was not sure what do do with them. They obviously are not the right scale to put them in the city. We just finished having a lego fair in our city and so I thought, wouldn't be cool to build a more permanent amusement park rather than just a fair and base it off the Legoland themeparks! And here we are. Nearing completion on the park. We still have a lot of detail to add, vendors, all the mini fig visitors and workers, the main entrance, parking lot and drop off area and a station for the mono rail ride. But it's coming together and should turn out pretty nice I think.

I'm not affiliated at all but I've been chasing a Rollercoaster Factory kit for years so I'm backing this!
