  1. Blacktron I rises again! "You are now entering the Blacktron sector! This is the absolute limit of the Classic Space quadrant! You have been warned!" ...sorry about that. Had to get the legal stuff out of the way first! Anyway: Blacktron long-range fighter "Buzzard" Above is the two copies of the Blacktron XL-15, which are now dubbed the "Buzzard" type starfighter. So back in January of 2023, I decided to convert the XL-15 spaceship from the film "Lightyear" into original Blacktron colors. The blue became yellow, and white was turned to black, with all the trans-green removed. I added laser blasters under the wings where some technic pins are and put a different control tile in the cockpit. I was thinking about building a second ship, but then again, getting some of the parts from Bricklink was a total pain due to extremely low quantities in the needed color. (I'm talking about you, 3 x 3 wedge plate in yellow!) Thankfully, I bought one too many of both kinds of the yellow 12 x 3 wedge plates, as they are very rare as well with only one store selling four of each kind in the USA, which made making the second one easier later on. Blacktron command vessel "Executor" In addition to the two Buzzards, I wanted a Blacktron capitol ship. I had no ideas of my own ship, so I spent most of the afternoon of 10/5/23 taking Benny's beloved spaceship from The Lego Movie and corrupting it into a twisted, evil version. I revamped the nose, removed the expanding wing assembly and snub fighters. Of course I then recolored it almost exclusively in black and yellow. (some gray was unavoidable!) I armed it with a turret on the top rear where the sensor array once was, and put the commanders office below where the wing mechanism used to be. To keep with the one-word naming scheme of the original Blacktron, I borrowed the name of Darth Vader's Super Star Destroyer, decreeing this ship the Blacktron Executor. I struggled to think of an engine flame color that fit OG Blacktron, but eventually trans-light blue was selected. Since the wings don't extend anymore, I added a third section for figures with a turret on top in their place. The rear-most section lifts away, but the rest of the roof sections are supposed to fold open. The ship seats seven troops and 1 commander. Blacktron giant robot "Destructor" For this model, I used parts and ideas from the Eternals line's "In Arishem's Shadow" set 76155 (body / head / upper legs / upper arms) along with claw from the old Agents 2.0' "Robot Attack" set 8970. The lower legs and laser arm are (modified) holdovers from the "Build Better Bricks" Iron Giant instructions. (I need to fix the laser arm's elbow joint but I keep forgetting!) Blacktron "Shadow Runner" space car Recently, while I was on my Blacktron kick, I decided I needed a vehicle for the commander. So, after a few false starts with other models, I dusted off this old TRON Legacy Light Runner model and went to town modifying it. The model originally was made five years ago (was 2018 really that long ago?!?), and is based off the two-seater TRON set 21314 MOD that was made by BrickBrosUK and posted on Brickset here. The name Shadow Runner is a play on the Light-based vehicles from TRON. Blacktron minifigs These pilot minifigs are from the GWP with back printing (gotten from Pick A Brick) while the commander is mostly from the Series 19 Galactic Bounty Hunter CMF. NOTES: To be honest, I've had these built since at least last November, but finally got around to taking all these pictures just yesterday. Thoughts? EDITED 3/12/24: real world photos added and text changed around.
  2. Here is my version of Wyldstyle's Flying Super Cycle. It took a lot longer than I hoped to complete this MOC mostly because about a dozen or more parts do not actually exist or don't exist in the colors depicted in the movie. With the help of several screen shots from the movie and the Golden Instructions #3 from TLM video game I got a very close version to the actual one from the movie. LEGO Movies Discussion

I started this topic because nobody is talking about the Lego Cinematic Universe (LCU). First movie:The Lego Movie (2014) Future movies: The Lego Batman Movie (2017) The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017) The Lego Movie 2 (2019) The Billion Brick Race (Movie in development, there is no current release date)
  4. Emmet and his companies in Lego Movie used this ship when they attacked and entered the building of president business. This ship also contains the Hyperdrive of Millennium Falcon. (R.I.P.) Against all angles in movie, it’s almost (tried my best) to be assembled. (Even in blue-ray movie, most views were not so clear, therefore some combinations and shapes were build up according to the moves of shadows, angels, etc., under my estimation.) 5. UPDATE - March 2023 - INSTRUCTIONS are still available via PayPal donation - just let me know or write me a mail to boonatix@gmail.com :) Prevously: Working on the instructions is close to the finish... WIP - Instructions by Brickmasta on Flickr UPDATE - FINISHED on 22nd of April The Batwing - Front by Brickmasta on Flickr See the Album with details and more: https://www.flickr.c...th/13973416094/ ----------------------------------- I would like to present my current WIP to you all and love to get some feedback on it As soon as I saw the first Trailer for "The Lego Movie" I was in shock... a childhood dream coming true. With so many awesome creations in it. And one was standing out the first time I saw it: "The Batwing". I immediately knew that I needed to build this asap. Even though I just came back out of the dark ages by end of last year and was very fresh to all the building processes, parts and stuff... I thought It can't be that hard with having the model right in front of me on the screen. But it wouldn't be as easy as I thought... I researched all the internet for more pictures / trailers, fortunately there was more released with special scenes and stuff for this Batwing. I did frame by frame analysis and took a whole lot of screenshots, scratching my head how and where to start. I had the best material of one of the turbines, so I just got to work on one of those! But then I was kind of lost... not enough details, not enough shots of the Batwing. And then somebody on Flickr linked me a video to the Lego Movie Videogame. Woah! There was actually a building process you could unlock in there for it. I had to get the game, started gaming until I was able to unlock this plan and rebuild it over and over to see how they did it. And got to the point where I finally started with one of the wings! The Batwing - WIP #003 by Brickmasta at Flickr And the first challenge occured and I knew it would not be that simple / as easy as I hoped. The wing consists of 4 sections. And each section basically just featured 1 connector, making the whole wing completely unstable, bending and nearly breaking apart. That did not look good. So I got to understand that I won't be able to do a 1:1 true copy of it. The physics in the movie and the videogame are just easier / different because there is no real physics So I got to work again and tried and tried and thought and planned... and found a solution! First step was to double and exchange the connections for each section: The Batwing - WIP #004 by Brickmasta at Flickr But that was not quite enough and after some more thinking I had another idea, so I took the shot and gave the second wing a try with new elements in it and a stabilizer under the wing, connecting the sections and holding them together... and it worked out! "The Batwing" is going to be huge...! That is my progress so far. I am now starting to work on the cockpit and will try out the connections from wing to cockpit asap because I have a feeling they also won't hold up that good... each wing weighs around 260gr wich is around 0,6 pounds. That is quite a lot to be held together by slim Lego connectors. Lets see how this will work out then Let me know what you think! Appreciate every comment and input
  6. Following the events of The LEGO Movie 2, and using the proceeds of his and Lucy's film careers, Emmet got to work on building Lucy and himself their dreamhouse again. They made it a little bigger, a little better, and a lot stronger... just in case of any future Duplo attacks. It also features an attic for extra storage space. Unikitty lives in the house too, and has made the unused attic space her personal play-place. The MOC's color scheme was heavily inspired by set 70831 - Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket. The building itself (not the furniture) was originally inspired by this Rebrickable MOC by user MIJbricks. The rear of the house features a chimney flue. The model also opens up like a dollhouse up to 90 degrees, and locks shut on a technic pin. On the front half's lower level is the living room, with record player, writing desk and couch. Upstairs is the bed, lamp, and a huge cabinet. The attic is Unikitty's play-place. (She seems really happy to see you!) In the rear half (lower level) is the kitchen table and fireplace. Upstairs is a vanity and Planty. Pictures of Emmet and Lucy are on the wall as well. Alas, it seems the house already has a Duplo infestation... In addition to the manor house, I'm also got a black version of set 40448 - Vintage Car (from Ideas) for Emmet and Lucy to drive around in. I absolutely HATED those loose-fitting surfboards on the sides, so I've created a easy workaround. Some other things have been changed in certain places, such as those eight 1x1 double curved slopes have been replaced with the new 1x4 version for added strength. I originally wanted to do the car in red, but the wheel arches are sadly stupid expensive in regular red. Blue was also an option, until I learned one of the 1x1 brackets needed are not available in that color yet. Thus, black was my only remaining choice. Thoughts? EDIT 9/14/22: real life pictures added, and text updated.
  7. Following the events of The LEGO Movie 2, Emmet Brickowski got to work on building Lucy and himself their dreamhouse again. He made it a bit bigger, a little better, and a lot stronger... just in case of any future Duplo attacks. It also features an attic for extra storage space, on top of the already-new second story. It is a modular style building, with removable floors and connection pins. The furniture (and house colors) were partially inspired by set 70831: Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket, and a few of the official modular buildings. The car was modeled after the 1957 Plymouth Fury, made famous by the Stephen King book "Christine". (It's also a 1983 horror movie of the same name.) I took the original model of the Christine car made by user @hachiroku, which I would link to but can't seem to find anymore... The rear of the house has the entry point to the Duplo Fallout shelter. Why a fallout shelter? Well, the house is from the late 1950's after all... plus, the Duplo creatures are bit rougher in their attitudes and might go about doing something drastic if they don't get their way. Upstairs is the only bedroom, which is plenty big enough for Lucy & Emmett with their respective pictures on the wall above the bed. (They are stickers, sadly) Downstairs is the living and dining rooms, plus the kitchen. It also has the connection pins to hook into the modular building standard. I don't have any real world pictures of the vehicle (yet), but it's been built in real life for some years now... I just have to photograph it. Instead, here are the screenshots I took of the model in 2017 below: The car was modeled after a certain red '57 Plymouth Fury. I made the car black instead of red and took off the parts which I thought would be unstable. This meant taking off the rear wheel covers, revising the front bumper, adding different wheels and a few other small things. The rear of the car features a very ingenious set of taillights. Kudos to Hachiroku for this simple, elegant design! I've already started parts finding for the house part of this project (and I've made quite a dent in the price), so keep your eyes peeled for more pictures coming soon! (Also, I know the parts are kind of dusty, they've been sitting on my desk a while.) As usual, thoughts, complaints, comments and questions always welcome!
  8. Following the events of The LEGO Movie 2, Emmet got to work on building Lucy and himself their dreamhouse again. He made it a little bigger, a little better, and a lot stronger... just in case of any future Duplo attacks. It also features an attic for extra storage space, on top of the already-new second story. The model opens up like a dollhouse, and lock shut on a technic pin. The building itself (not the furniture) was originally inspired by pictures of Brick City Depot's "Winter Village Victorian House". The furniture (and house colors) were partially inspired by set 70831: Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket, a few of the official modular buildings, and a bed from 75930: Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate Inside the front door is the living room, with record player, vintage rabbit-eared TV and Aqua-colored couch. In the next room, right across the divide, we have the stove / oven unit, and Planty happily sitting on a side table at the turn of the staircase. Upstairs, at the top of the landing, we have a grandfather clock, table lamp, and rotary telephone. Across the divide is the bed and a cabinet. Above that, is the empty attic. The rear of the house features a chimney flue connected to the kitchen stove. This is located right next to the back door, which is not really visible in this picture. (you can see it more in the front view, as it's on the side of the house, next to the kitchen area.) Inspired by this recent @hachiroku build here, which was based on the sand green Army staff car from Indiana Jones IV. This car fits in with Emmet's original smart car (from the first TLM) color-wise, but just a little older style-wise. The roof is held on by four studs, and is as such removable. I have also included light bluish gray upholstery for the back of the seat, which can fit two people inside. The rear has a license plate and two coverings partially obscuring the rear wheels. NOTES: I apologize for the visible dust in some places, it's been a month since I built these MOCs, and have now gotten a small backlog on picture-taking. (I just took these photo's today.) Any and all thoughts, comments, and questions are always welcome so please don't hesitate to do so!

    Metalbeard MOC

Oi, I've been busy. STILL working on updating my YOUTUBE Channel since.... May this year? Sitting on a litteral HOARD of lego Sets from the last two to five years I want to pull apart and review, and I've got Mocs out the Yin-Yang. This is a recent one I made with the Systar System Party Crew set as a base (Music-Beard/Party-Time Metal Beard) I took the base model for Metalbeard, and pallette-swapped a lot of pieces until the good Captain was in his classic colors again. I took several creative liberties in his design, however I feel that i've hit a happy middle ground between making this an original creation I'm content with, as well as something that can be recognized as, "Oh hey, it's the Robot-Pirate from the LEGO Movie!" A feature I'm proud of including in this MOC is the right leg (The good one) having a functional joint in the knee. well, with the way the parts fit together, I'm pretty happy about that leg. Left leg/peg-leg has a special pin element on the side of it, that the new Grapple/Anchor piece, found in the latest Batman set (Batcycle Vs. Mr.Freeze) can easily attach to, to keep it out of the way when he's gallivanting about. The back of the model. I took the most liberties here, building up the engine on the back. Since his last stint, Metalbeard has overhauled and upgraded his onboard engine. Four cylinders, five exhaust ports, lots of output! Metalbeard with Accessories. Sword clips into his good hand, and he cradles his cannon under his Hook-arm. Against his better judgement, he has a single black cylinder shot for the cannon rattling around loose in his chest O' Innards! The Captain, in all his glory!
  10. Benny was initially a bit put out when he was told he had to recycle his old '80's technology, however he soon managed to make the most of it.
  11. The Lego Movie 1 is now 5 years. This is beyond the shelf life of any LEGO products actually featured in it. One thing which I assumed would always prevent a commercial LEGO movie from being released is the fact that all Lego products have a relatively short shelf-life, many only lasting 1 year, while movies remain available indefinitely. Now, I understand that right now LEGO Movie 2 merchandise night satisfy some kids who have seen TLM1, but even that is temporary. So, how do kids who were too young to buy it's direct merchandise respond to TLM1?

    Wizard Team Go

So, this exists! I came across this VERY weird video centred on Vitruvius while searching the web and may I be the first to say, why? Given the other videos on the uploaders channel my best evaluation is that this was meant to be an extra on The LEGO Movie Blu-ray that was pulled for some reason. Sources: The channel in question: https://vimeo.com/jollylads
  13. I'm a big fan of police cars, and the Lego Movie uses one that I intially thought was custom made for the movie. This is the four wide police car that is used mostly in background scenes, though it does show up en masse after the escape from Bricksburg. After spending some time reverse engineering it from the various scenes, I realized that the model is actually a slightly modified civilian car that was released in 2012 as 4435 Car and Caravan (the trailer hitch is the giveaway) with influences from 4436 Patrol Car. The car appears to be Black and Light Grey in the movie, which I changed to white because some of the main parts don't exist in light grey, such as the wheel arches. I also added red and blue lights behind the main headlights, though these were my personal preference. Interestingly enough, the roof piece in black does not yet exist and won't until the release of 60097 City Corner later this year. When that set is released, I'll be building several of these to put in my own town. EDIT: Turns out Mark2 has an error in the lights. Instead of using two 99780 Inverted brackets and one 1x2 plate, it should have been one Bracket 1x2 - 1x4 and two 1x4 plates stacked on top of each other. Mark5 has this corrected. MOC: RoboKitty

Hi everyone. This is just a quick MOC of UniKitty as a robot that I made using the dark gray tail from the Detective's Office. It's not much, but I thought I'd share it. I hope you like it. RoboKitty by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  15. Good morning Eurobricks! I usually live in the brickfilm side of the forums (so forgive any lapses in etiquette) but I wanted to share my recreation of Emmet's apartment buidling from The LEGO Movie. What started out as a set for a brickfilm grew to become a full recreation of Emmet's apartment building. Emmet's Apartment Building by Seaotter71, on Flickr Screengrabs of The LEGO movie got me going, but it wasn't until my son got the video game that I could really reverse engineer it. The top floor, true to the movie, borrowed heavily from the City Hall modular. Edgeofpanic, who had independetnly submitted this to LEGO Ideas had an LDD file that helped with the roof. The signs are a custom print job by Promotec and ties the whole thing together. This thing is a beast. I thought it was going to be comparable to the height of the other modulars and then realized I had missed a floor. Back to bricklink I went. Enjoy. I have started the inside and will be fleshing it out over the next few weeks. Spoiler: The inside doesn't really fit inside the building.

    UCS Unikitty (MOC)

It's everyone's favorite unicorn-kitten princess, Unikitty! The breakout star from The LEGO Movie recently got her own cartoon show and I decided to make a giant sculpture of her. This is a 8:1 scale replica of the bipolar ruler of Cloud Cuckoo Land. The tail was the most difficult part to recreate and I'm not completely happy with it, but overall I think it turned out pretty good. You can turn her head, roll her eyes, pose her eye brows, and spin her horn. But best of all, the back of her head can be opened up to reveal a playset inside. This playset is a representation of Unikitty's mind. As we all know, her mind is all sunshine and rainbows, but she keeps her anger locked up deep inside a corner of her mind. When she gets angry, her angry self breaks out of its cage and unleashes her fury! I tried to build it out of existing parts so that I could potentially build it IRL if I felt like it. This is why I had to make the neck in lime green instead of cool green. I think the only part I used that doesn't exist in these colors is the light royal blue 1x1 cone at the top of the horn. So it is possible to build it for the most part, but I think it will be too much trouble tracking down all the parts in the correct colors. This was going to be an Ideas project, but sadly it was rejected due to it being based on a current IP. Thanks for looking, and remember: Stay positive!

    LEGO Dimensions Physical Brick Discussion

Looks like LEGO's answer to Skylanders with real LEGO toys. Will be another TT Games LEGO video game about a villain tearing rifts between the various LEGO worlds and kidnapping certain characters. Uses many licenses and themes, including The LEGO Movie (which makes some of the other licenses redundant), Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, Back to the Future, Ninjago and surprisingly, The Wizard of Oz.
  18. Hi, I've been working on a movie accurate MetalBeard, mostly from this playlist, but also using a 4K copy of the movie and various screenshots. Just wanted the thoughts of the community on whether I'm missing anything. My wanting to have him accurate is almost reaching OCD levels, but I am happy with where he is now. One part of note is the latest update video in the playlist posted a few days ago which I can confirm is in the movie from this screencap: [img=] In the video he forces the piece to the point it's bending, I didn't want to do that so moved the shark forward a peg. Any suggestions or ideas would be great. Here is some pictures of my MetalBeard as of posting, thanks! http://i.imgur.com/vxNSnLC.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lXnjEHi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/h1EBvLb.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Gro0GSN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/awQ8JwM.jpg
  19. Many many years ago I enjoyed playing World of Warcraft for year or two. For some reason, every christmas, I get into my holiday spirit by thinking back on the cosy joy it was to wander around in WOW exploring and just enjoying the landscape. I so recall the first time I arrived at Ironforge, and that´s the reason it had to be part of my Cube layout project. I hope you like it. Grinding materials for leather skills: A place in WOW I used a lot of time, was at what I recall as a bay, where turtles were all over the place. They dropped a lot of usefull materials for either getting better at leatherworking skills, or could easily be sold at the auction house at Ironforge. This baylike area, led to several dungeons that were handy for getting experience points, and advance in the game. I sooo loved this area, and I can still get all relaxed thinking back on it. Running around, enjoying the music, just relaxing and not having to rush anything. Dungeon leading to Ironforge: Arriving at Ironforge: Ironforge is build into a huge mountain, surrounded by snow and forest. This were an ideal place to run around during christmas when no snow were outside. First sight: At Ironforge one would expect nothing less than drunk guards and huge statues. 3 more cubes for my Cube layout project: So, three more cubes have been added for the project, well actually its five, as two more cubes have been "landscaped" to make an "endcap" for the build. So, finally have an endcap ready. Now I can progress on all edges of the build, finally getting one full loop of tracks for the train to roll on. This is how it looks by now. Another great thing, is that Im finally ready to begin building on "top" of the whole of this area. The Doctor who and the "turtle bay". View of the Diablo cube next to Ironforge: I was really worried as how the Diablo cube would look next to the Ironforge cube. Turned out great ! Two studs width with some overhang made the transition work quite well. Now, the backside of Ironforge has not been finished yet. This build turned out soooo tricky, as I need a sort of three way effect, using the Diablo cube and this for sort of a camoflage to make the train run through. So as you might have noticed their is quite a few places where the rockwork ain´t top notch yet. But that´s yet another great thing about this project. I can fly between themes, building what I feel like, whenever I want to. Honestly though, I need a break from rockwork right now, this has teared me apart. Everytime I moved something a bit, the whole build moved in random directions, and it took Me forever to figure out, how to make it look "big" considering Its placed on a 34x34 stud base. But for now Im happy with how it turned out. On the backside of Ironforge im gonna build Stormwind, another great city of World Of Warcraft, using the backside of Ironforge as sort of a forced perspectiv, making up micro build skyes and towers ( I think, have only made a test build). But that´s the plan for now. On top of the diablo cube, Im planning a boss fight. I mean, what is Diablo without a boss fight. And I have a special one in mind ! Installments planned: Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - ( Can be found here ). Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - Small continuation - ( Planning ) Doctor Who - T.A.R.D.I.S train ( offcourse :P ) - ( Planning ) Fabuland - Fabuland settlement ( Building ) Matrix reloaded ( building ) Matrix revolutions ( planning - somewhat testing build ) Diablo - Part one - A shortcut to the black templars treasure - ( Can be found here ) World Of Warcraft - Arriving at Ironforge ( This one ) World Of Warcraft ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( building ) War against the Cthoor. Call of Cthulhu. The LEGO movie. Please do leave comments and questions. And I hope you enjoyed the build. KlodsBrik
  20. Ok looks like I managed to get the video in the actual post this time! This contains my first 3 attempts at the most-traditional form of stop-motion LEGO animation. 1) A close-up shot of Lord Business on the street 2) A wide-shot composition of minifigures out on the town 3) THE WORLD'S FINEST meeting up on the rooftops From start to finish, you can really progressively see my techniques coming into form! Each of the 3 scenes took 1 hour to shoot, 1 hour to edit. (Add an additional hour or two for THE WORLD'S FINEST, I had a lot of trial & error to get that one in the can.) ENJOY MY PUBLIC PLAYTIME!
  21. Doctor Who - Season 9 - Episode 12 - Hell Bent: This is Clara's T.A.R.D.I.S ( Well they sort of stole it from the Timelord's on Galifrey ). My first build since I had a fire way to close to me. I've just recently gotten back into building after having spend countless hours washing and cleaning my LEGO collection ( and im still not totally finished ). So this is the first installment of my project I like to call "Cube Layout project". This is all about having fun, and for me to get back into building. Before the fire I was caught up in a lot of other project's as i got my first LEGO train, so I never got to build a full layout. Now it's time for that ! Cube Layuot Project: All these cubes will fit together for a bigger layout being 34x34 studs. This will enable me to put a baseplate on top and have a 1 plate edge surrounding it in order to be economical with my brick usage. This is not the layout as planned. Just a collection of some of the cubes already buil't. Now a bit of what I have planned for to have fun here, and getting into building again. Installments planned: Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - ( This one ). Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - Small continuation - ( Planning ) Doctor Who - T.A.R.D.I.S train ( offcourse :P ) - ( Planning ) Fabuland - Fabuland settlement ( Building ) Matrix reloaded ( building ) Matrix revolutions ( planning - somewhat testing build ) Diablo - Part one - A shortcut to the black templars treasure - ( Can be found here ) World of warcraft - Arriving at Ironforge ( Can be found here ) World Of Warcraft ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( building ) War against the Cthoor. Call of Cthulhu. The LEGO movie. Now, everything is up for change, as this is all about having fun. To me it's all about having a train layout finally, with some great looking surroundings. I will ad and rebuild every installment as i get further in the progress to fit everythig together. So this build is not yet finished. Now, i have a feeling that this will be the next finished build. So here's a teaser ... Where will this tunnel lead ? So glad to be back. KlodsBrik.
  22. The moment I saw it in the movie, I knew I wanted to build one. Some way, some how, it would happen. Thanks to TheNerdyOne here at EB, I now have a shot. After a frame by frame analysis of the Octan delivery ship portion of people's Youtube videos of the TLM video game, I can safely say I have completed a very very close rendition of it in LDD. I did not have to get creative or improvise much. I'm still a novice at LDD so I encountered a couple things I couldn't represent entirely or accurately. (For anyone also building this ship/truck) The rear cylindrical section of the engines were a piece I could not identify. My theory is that they used a tire piece. The fence piece below the cargo hold is not visible due to the video game version using an illegal connection. The cargo hold walls were actually best represented with window sections painted white. The side headlamps are suspended due to the clip and slope right above it forming a collision. Horizontal clips were removed. I couldn't remove the top of the turntable plate used to create the ventilation ports visible on the sides. as well as inside the cargo hold. The elbow pipe sections between the cabin and cargo are not properly connected. I could not identify the piece they used. All that being considered, it was still a very fun build from deciphering what was mostly a blur in the gameplay videos. I do not own a copy of it yet. Now I'm off to the physical build, but I know it will look drastically different from the LDD version due to all the parts they used that simply don't exist. I tried to create a possible real version mockup to the right. Also added some lights and antenna because at the end of the day I thought it was still a truck. And here's the LXF download: octanshipmoviever.lxf Thanks everyone,
  23. Hidden entrance or just an old collapsed mountain side ? Don't take the rockwork here to serious as the top of this cube wont be finished till the surrounding cubes are done. Still the entrance is here ! Spider Attack !! No problem for a level 5 wizard ! Dead spiders equals loot ! The treaure ain't out of reach at all ! Diablo interface: Diablo cube - First installment: Again - The top of this cube still needs a lot of work. Will be done when I have the surrounding cubes at hand at somewhat fitted to this one. Now, I actually thought that this would have been the next finished installment of my Cube Layout Project: However, once I started to build the Diablo interface, I could'nt stop. I Really wanted to have the Diablo interface as my first installment for the Diablo, world of Warcraft and Baldurs gate installment's I have planned for this project. I also needed to know how many studs high it had to be, in order to fit the surrounding cubes with the track layout in order to make it all fit. Now, I dont even know what will be the next installment. My Cube layout project consist of cubes 34x34 studs. This in order to be able to put a baseplate on top and still have an one plate edge, in order to be economical with my bricks. Also it makes it quite easy to adjust hight of every cube as i move along with the project. Now a bit of what I have planned for, to have fun here, and getting back into building again. Installments planned: Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - ( Can be found here ). Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - Small continuation - ( Planning ) Doctor Who - T.A.R.D.I.S train ( offcourse :P ) - ( Planning ) Fabuland - Fabuland settlement ( Building ) Matrix reloaded ( building ) Matrix revolutions ( planning - somewhat testing build ) Diablo ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( this one ) World of warcraft - Arriving at Ironforge ( Can be found here ) World of warcraft ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( building ) War against the Cthoor. ( Planning ) Call of Cthulhu. The LEGO movie. Who know's what's next ? ! Hope you like it. KlodsBrik
  24. Since it is the season, I thought we needed a custom Unikitty, so I present Christmas Unikitty: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/pirzyk/MOCs/christmas_unikitty.jpg The face is modled after 3622pb057 from the SD Comi-con Exclusive set, with the artwork done by my SO. Then I took that artwork and cut out the vinyl pieces on my silhouette cutter and placing the pieces by hand. It is still a work in progress, I plan on covering up the orange on the tail with more white vinyl and figuring out how to make a white pom pom on the unicorn tip.

    [MOC] Aqua-Kitty

Seeing Oky's Steampunk Unikitty http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=139235 inspired me to make a Unikitty of my own. So allow me to introduce to you......... AQUA-KITTY!! Comes complete with wetsuit, mask, snorkel and flippers! The mask is made up of a red 2X3 plate in place of Unikitty's pink 1X3 plate, 2 1X2 Trans-Clear plates and 2 1X1 Trans-Clear plates make up the lens and a red 1X3 plate on the bottom. The snorkel is made of a round 1x1 plate and 1x1 plate with clip holding a tommy gun which I thought would be best for the snorkel as the magazine can be used as the clip that attatches the tube to the mask and it's also at an angle as snorkels tend to be. And finally topped off with a lightsaber handle for the top of the snorkel. Now for an undersea shot! I hope i've put this in the right forum..... Please let me know what you think. Thank you!
