  1. Everyone remembers galaxy squad. Some liked it, some didn't. But everyone can probably agree that it was our last original, thought out, classic space theme. I liked it, but probably not the kids. At least that's what I suspect, considering the mark downs at Walmart. Because "nooooooo no no no"! Kids didn't want this. They wanted this! "Sigh" So where does that leave us? Stuck buying something like this? So I'm thinking "If kids want Star Wars, why not make sets aimed towards adults?" Creator Expert Series anyone? Why not make a $100 to $500 dollar classic space for AFOL? What do you think?
  2. This is the Asteroid 7 Gas Station, run by ex-Black Hole gang members Squidman and Squidtron inside the shell of the old burned-out Squidman's Pitstop. The Asteroid 7 is part of a small chain of gas stations that are independent from Octan Corp, using a competing brand (also called Asteroid 7) that has slipped through Lord Business' finger's more times than he'd like to admit. As the two Squid-beings built the station on the wreck of their old hideout they were able to incorporate some carry-over features such as hidden weapons systems, a top-notch defense grid, and a self-destructing reactor, just in case. Here is the repair bay, where Squidtron stores his tools to work on customers hover vehicles. As he is a cyborg, he can access schematics for any make or model from the internet directly to his brain, and then work on the car just as well as any seasoned expert, even if he'd never seen the car type before. When he is done, all he has to do is store the info in the station's main super-computer, and delete the local file from his head to save space for the next job. The pay desk has a wall-mounted computer screen to help keep track of who is where on the ground premises or airspace at any time. As the station is on a back-water hyper-way, it is not well used. The only ones who travel by are either those who should be there, as in refugees seeking shelter from Space Police IV officers, ones who should not be there, as in the hated SP officers seeking runaways, and finally, lost travelers looking for some way point they missed. True travelers who are not lost are a rarity indeed. The fission reactor provides the fuel for the customers, making Coaxium in three different refined qualities for customers to buy, much like gasoline was bought in three types back on old Earth. (The reactor makes Coaxium as Nuclear waste, which is used in hover engines as fuel.) The Coaxium fission reactor provides three different varieties of hover fuel for cars, trucks, and speeder bikes. The difference between trucks (white) and cars (green) is determined by engine rating, while speeder bikes is kinda obvious. (yellow) In reality, I was inspired by set 5980 (Squidman's Pitstop) and a set of tile alphabet (that I used for my double-sided GAS sign) by Steve Throm as showcased on New Elementary here. I plan on using this 4 x 2 tile for the "Asteroid 7" logo, with the word "Asteroid" spelled out in 1 x 1 tiles above on the other, smaller sign next to the "GAS" one. This may be built sometime next year (2019), if possible. Comments, suggestions, questions, and complaints welcome!
  3. This smaller space freighter is meant to get smaller, yet very dense loads through heavy planetary blockades without being noticed due to shape-and-trajectory-jamming technology and four experimental high speed engines that can let them outrun all but one of the ships in the Space Police IV armory. The name of this extraordinary vessel is the RES-Q and was built by Jack Stone Industries as a one off before they were absorbed into Octan Corporation. Mr. Stone himself destroyed the plans and took the ship and a bunch of spare parts to a hidden asteroid at great personal risk (he was killed by Lord Business for this later on), where it was picked by it's current pilot and crew who then joined the Resistance against the Space Police IV. The ship features two laser guns near the lower engines, (in trans yellow, on the light bluish gray bars) and two large fins with RES-Q printed on them from the ill-fated Jack Stone theme. The rear of the ship and the four huge engines. This section also has the hidden cargo compartment, which is accessible via the folding roof section. The name of the alien figure of the left is Kranxx. In the almost ten years since the fall of the Black Hole Gang he has put his organizing and secret-gathering skills to better use now that he is a part of the resistance against the outright corrupt Space Police IV. He runs the blockade runner space freighter RES-Q alongside his pilot Valkyrie or "V" as she is known informally by the group. Valkyrie (on the right) is from the Marvel Universe and was sent to the LEGO Universe on accident by the Bifrost. She was found floating in space by Kranxx, and he helped her to learn about her new home in a strange and unfamiliar universe. As a pilot, her skills are unmatched by any organic, non-augmented being found so far. "V", as she likes to be called, also has started to have feelings for Kranxx.... though it remains to be seen if he returns the affections! In reality, this is a modification of set 75178. (Jakuu Quadjumper) I removed the exploding engines feature, added yellow parts instead of the regular dark orange, and changed the main windscreen to trans-light blue. The figures are a mix of Star Wars, Space Police III, and Marvel. Comments, Question, Complains, and suggestions, are always welcome!

  5. (When the base and any other digital creations are built in real life, I will add those pictures into this page.) This is the beginning of a journey through the wormhole to a mini-figure called Benny and a civilization on the cusp of greatness. His continuing mission: to seek out new lifeforms, to explore unknown worlds, all in the name of of science and awesomeness. The year is 1980-something, the name of the theme is Classic Space. Classic Space fortress walls The base as it was ordered... will post a picture of the complete setup when built in real life. Here is the main gate. It can open up all the way to allow the 8-stud wide ground vehicles though. Two of these parts go next to the gate where the un-printed 4 x 2 slopes are. This is one of twelve walls sections, held together with the other modules by four Technic pins.(two on each side) This is one of four of the corner modules. I redesigned these since last time to be less parts intensive and have fewer gaps in the wall. Classic Space HQ / Benny's home This building model was inspired by sets 7641 (City Corner), 31026, (Bike Shop + Cafe). This building is Benny's home and the backup classic space command center. The delivery door out back was designed for semi-truck deliveries to the model rocket shop that originally occupied the building, but now serves as the entrance to the base. (NOTE: watch your head, as this is a very cramped area!) Downstairs is the old model rocket store showroom, with a model Utopian city (with monorail!) and 1980's video game cabinet "Astro Nut". Benny keeps the sales counter the way it was in the old days, as a reminder of the building's heritage. Inside and upstairs is the living area with the huge 1970's super computer LL9000 taking up a sizable amount of space at the top of the stairs. On the upstairs level as well is the cooking area and sleeping quarters, where Benny has a TV to record his favorite shows on VHS tapes... old habits die hard I guess! Classic 1970's Moonraker automobile This is Benny the 1980-something space guy's 1979 Moonraker made by Neptune Auto Group. The engine has been upgraded from a gasoline chugging-monster into a more environmentally-friendly Hydrogen-3 Fusion engine to turn it into a modern mechanical beast with a retro exterior. Benny added bigger tires to the car to get it over the craters of the small moon where Benny's base is stationed. The car also has a spare tire located on the opening trunk. The roof is removable, and the three seats can fit figures with air-tanks and helmets. The doors open in the front normally, but in the rear they open in a reversed pattern to create a wider opening. Classic 1980's Security Forces Jeep (x2) This model was heavily inspired by set 75916: Dilophosaurus Ambush from the first series of Jurassic World sets. I have turned that jeep into a Classic Space vehicle by subtracting most of the features and adding the CS logo to this piece on the trunk and a space seat for the driver. This CS version has a trans-yellow windscreen and a revised roll-cage. The rear of the vehicle has a spare tire, license plate and tail-pipe while the roll-cage folds back to allow for you to place the driver in the seat. Cosmic Explorer This is a heavily modified set 70816 (Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!) to features a new canopy from set 75176 (Resistance Transport pod) for the front windscreen, plus a rear turret that elevates and rotates in lieu of the radar dish and repair robots. To match the new canopy, the crew quarters were enlarged and opening roof remade, but the wings still fold out via the same Technic mechanism as in the original set 70816. The rear of the ship features the three main engines. The sensor array that was once near here was replaced by a four-barrel repeating laser turret that can rotate a full 360 degrees and elevate to 180 degrees, allowing for cover fire in almost any direction. The wings fold out if the center engine is pushed inwards, ready for the foam-tipped missiles to be engaged and aimed at any Blacktron III enemies... I did remove those yellow missiles, as they were too touchy and could fire accidentally. The main canopy has been heavily modified to allow for crew to go between the engineering and navigation sections without having to exit the ship. The Unikitty-seat area was replaced with a opening canopy for the engineering and fire-control crew to see outside from their stations near the Imagination Reactor. Deep Space Fighters These ships are deep space fighters of the Galaxy-class. Each seat one figure and have enhanced hyper-drive making it nearly as fast as LL-929. (Benny's spaceship) This ship was designed to be a heavily-armed fighter, and features an enclosed cockpit allowing for long distance travel such as from system to system if in an emergency. The rear of each of the two ship's features two engines made up of four thrusters. Here is the cockpit, which can seat 1 pilot figure per ship. K8-E the robot dog - Benny's best friend After meeting the Doctor (Who?) and his K-9 (pronounced Canine) unit, Benny decided he wanted a pet. So he bought himself a retired space police bot named K8-E (it's pronounced Katy) who helps Benny with his maintaining his SPACESHIP! and home base of the fleet. The two robot dogs eventually teamed up to sabotage a Blacktron and Dalek peace treaty from being signed, thus keeping the Universe safe from their plans for conquest for the moment. K8-E even took a laser shot from the Blacktron secondary leader, saving K-9 from being killed in the midst of them leaving the self-destructing Dalek ship. When reunited with Benny and the Doctor a short while later, the robot dog was fixed up and given the nod of approval from the Doctor, and a happy farewell from K-9, who left with the Doctor in the TARDIS to go to parts unknown looking for the Daleks fleeing from their loss at the hands of K8-E & K-9. From then on, K8-E has been keeping Benny company while awaiting the return of K-9 and the Doctor. K8-E is actually modified from set 8399 (K-9 Bot), which is a 2009 Space Police III set. Astro-Bot 33 - Classic Space's Giant Robot You may ask yourself: "Why would the Classic Space fleet want a giant robot?" The answer is a simple one: "Who in their right mind wouldn't want a giant freaking robot!?!?!" This model is a recolored and modified version of Hachiroku24's Iron Giant model, but remade it into the Classic Space color-scheme. Red and green indicator lights are placed in four spots while the feet feature hidden trans-orange tiles to signify rocket-booster output nozzles that allow for flight. I revised the robot's head, to add a central fin that is more like the 50's inspired original Iron Giant. Bumblebee stripes are also on his upper torso near the neck. The number 33 is printed just above the Classic Space logo using vintage '80's bricks as well, to give it a retro feel. NOTE: After removing the knees and fixing the ankles, the robot stands up a lot better. (I really need to take a picture of it standing up on it's own sometime...) Secure Cargo Crawler-Transporter This is a heavily modified Classic Space version of 2018 Star Wars set 75217 (Imperial Conveyex Transport). It's length has been doubled and the weapons have been removed, but it function remains the same: this vehicle transports valuable material be it futuristic rocket fuel, or oxygen tanks, or even astronaut food to and from Benny's remote base in a highly secure manner to the far-away location of New Asteroid City on the far side of the planet. The vehicle can be shortened or lengthened in modular sections depending on the needs of the specific mission, but in this particular case it has two crawler engine units, and two cargo hauler segments that can easily detach for maintenance or to drop more segments in / out. On the engine unit is the dual drivers compartments, located on either side of the tread behind the square openings. The round hatches is where the actual engine for the vehicle is located. The cargo sections haul four sealed containers of very volatile fuel apiece, with the entire train seen here hauling eight. The roof has a single hatch on each car for escape in case of emergency, as does either longitudinal end of either of the cars. You can also see here the fuel as it is being readied for transport, just before being sealed in the boxes and set inside the vehicle. (NOTE: The walls flip up to allow for you to place the cargo inside in real life, but LDD was being dumb about the TECHNIC hinges, so I hid the wall to allow for this shot) Classic Space figures These are all my Classic Space figures. The thirteen green figures are the soldiers of the group, while while the six red suited people are scientists. The three blue figures are Benny (in helmet), Penelope (with pigtails), and Unikitty who are the officers of the group. The two other figures, (the red android and the robo-dog) are T-3PO, who serves as the translator to other species and computer systems, while the robo-dog is K8-E who happens to be Benny's personal pet / security guard. EDITED: 9/15/16: Added vehicles and K-8 to the main post. EDITED 9/1/17: Added revised Benny's spaceship model, of which updated pictures are coming soon. EDITED 12/19/17 finally added real life pictures of a revised Benny's spaceship and support fighters. EDITED 6/7/18: Added Giant Robot, new personal vehicle for Benny and a updated base. EDITED 7/15/18: Added real-world pictures of Benny's car and building. EDITED 8/2/18: Added the giant robot's real-world pictures to the first post. EDITED 8/7/18: Added crawler-transporter to first post. EDITED 8/12/18: Added a larger classic space embassy to the post. EDITED 8/17/18: Removed the too-large embassy house and added a medium sized building instead as the original fancier building was too much money. EDITED 9/4/18: Revised main post and ordered modular walls from brick link. Restored original building to the main post. EDITED 9/7/18: added security jeeps to the main post. EDITED 9/20/18: Added real life pictures of security jeeps and space figures to this post. EDITED 9/21/18: added revised giant robot pics to this post. As usual, Comments, questions and complaints are always welcome!
  6. ICE PLANET IS BACK! My latest build is an armoured vehicle decked out in Ice Planet livery used by the peaceful men as a mobile research laboratory. Ice Planet 2002 was a subtheme of LEGO Space introduced in 1993 and marked by a very cool color scheme: white, blue and trans-neon orange. Even if I've never played with these paceful guys (at that time I was a teen with other interests on my head) I've always appreciated this series. The ground vehicle is not equipped with weapons but with a lot of retro space components. Ice Planet are in fact engaged in secret researches about renewable energy rather than interplanetary wars. The canopy opens to expose a detailed little interior with such an assortment of retro-tech computers and equipment. More info and pictures here. I hope you like it The Ice Planet vehicle joins the other space armoured vehicles I built in the last few years: 1) Space Tank in Classic Space livery; 2) White Tiger Futuron Tank; 3) UFO Shado Mobile Evo; 4) B-59 Blacktron APC. Thanks for stopping by.

    Strategic StarHound

My latest MOC is the Strategic StarHound: This is a Futuron mech based on the old Strategic Pursuer. https://brickset.com/sets/6848-1/Strategic-Pursuer I basically made a bigger version. The arms, legs, and red floodlights (is that what they are?) are all poseable. Hopefully I can add some more pictures later. Hope you all like it.

    T-70 X-WING

This is a MOC of the T-70 X-Wing from the Resistance, in both Poe Dameron's Black Leader (black and orange) and the generic fighter version (blue and grey). This MOC has been inspired not only on one but by several others creations i've found on the internet. Though i've combined several elements from these builds, most of the design is mine. Anyone willing to build this MOC or to know more about it please contact me through the comments. The main pages about this MOC are on the following links: https://bricksafe.com/pages/marcanadell4/t-70-x-wing I might post other low-resolution images in the replies. The Stud.io rendered images are can be seen and downloaded on the links that I've given in the description.

    Hello Lego Fans!

Hi, my name is Rafael and I am from Germany. I got out of my Dark Ages a couple months ago and want to become a contributing member of the community. This forum seems awesome for that! I am now 34 and still have fond memories of playing with Legos as a kid. The best christmas was when I got the Fire Breathing Castle. This was so much fun. But I also liked the space theme a lot. Lego was the best toy ever, due to the possibilities it presented. It's funny how most of us get sidetracked with other things just to realize later how awesome it still is. I still like to get sets and build them at least once, and except maybe for the odd really awesome set, I will keep it displayed for some time. But ultimately it's all about taking it apart and building something new out of it. I really like to build alternate MOCs from just one set. It limits the amount of possibilities, sure, but also makes it challenging and one has to think of potentially new ways of building something, compared to having all the pieces at disposal. But obviously completely free MOCs using everything thats possible are awesome too. Haven't done anything big so far, but I am sure that time will come! Right now I am working on a Harry Potter themed MOC for a Halloween event, in which I show a scene from my Hogwarts RPG campaign. My three players are all first years at Hogwarts in 1984 and of course found their way into the Forbidden Forest! ;) But usually I am leaning towards creating Scifi-themed MOCs, like Mechs and Spaceships. Especially looking into a Lego-based tabletop game called Mobile Frame Zero and its spaceship spin-off Intercept Orbit right now. And for that matter I kinda thought that I wanted not only to sit alone (or my fiance) and put bricks together, but actually share my creations and hopefully add fun to other people's lifes as well. So I started a youtube channel sharing tutorial videos of my MOCs, as well as other related Lego topics, like Vlogs and Reviews! Please check out my youtube channel if you like, Maranar bricks: http://bit.ly/maranarbricks There is also a Flickr page: http://bit.ly/2xik2g0 Greetings! Maranar / Rafael
  10. Hi! I wanted to show off my first fleet I build. It's mostly for a game called Mobile Frame Zero: Intercept Orbit. I haven't played the game yet, though. To make it potentially more interesting I added a bit of background fluff. There is also a short Youtube video about this fleet, if you are inclined to rather watch that instead: I made a couple of instruction videos as well: Intercept Orbit Playlist But now to the fleet: Terran Defense Union Fleet GreyFleet001 by Maranar _bricks, on Flickr The TDU values their assets and uses defensive tactics to gain the upper hand in any conflict. Each ship is equipped with defensive systems, based on their shield ring technology. Nevertheless, Terran Command knows the importance of offensive capabilities and tries to balance these within their ship designs. 11. This Orbital Laser Strike Satellite, belongs to APOPHIS constellation. This military satellite constellation makes use of special secret-satellite-super-weapons to annihilate objective on Earth: bunker, shelters, hangars, vehicles, buildings, aircrafts, ships, cruise missiles, ICBMs. Operate surgical and sensitive operations. This satellite carry a powerful laser system that can identify and neutralize the threat in a few seconds. To accomplish his task the laser hit the target with a train of brief pulses of light. The rapid evaporation and expansion of the surface causes shockwaves that damage and destroy the target. This satellite use a chemically powered gas dynamic laser, with compresion of the gas generated and powered by 4 photovoltaic panel. 12. Blacktron is back! Hello from Italy! Tonight I share my latest build: a big, bad and totally black armoured personnel carrier. It's based on U-59 Explosive Truck from Joe 90, a 1960s British science-fiction television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson (the same producers of U.F.O. It's called B-59 where B stands for Blacktron, in fact this six-wheel APC is the new and lethal groud vehicle of Blacktron. The little ATV on the right is based on the Amphicat, a six-wheel-drive, skid steer amphibious all-terrain vehicle manufactured in the '60s by Mobility Unlimited Inc. of Auburn Hills, Michigan. The Amphicat was also used by Moonbase Alpha personnel in the television series Space: 1999. Back view and tank entrance. The interior with many details. This time thanks - to a friend of mine who is a pro-filmmaker - I produced a presentation video of the B-59. Below on YT. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by! B-59 on flickr.
  13. This is Classic Space forces' top-secret backup command space station, LL-002 (named Cosmic Command Station Upsilon or CCSU for short) that was built in case the home planet of the Classic Space astronauts was destroyed in battle or otherwise made inhabitable to provide a base of operations for a counter-attack and to keep the CS forces from falling into chaos from the the lack of a command structure. This vessel was designed as a cross between a small space station and a a very large space dreadnought, though don't be fooled into thinking it doesn't move: CCSU (or Upsilon Base as it is known in the higher reaches of Classic Space ranks), has two very powerful ion engines to keep the ship mobile in real space. The ship also is light-speed capable and features two wings of 6 fighters each tucked in two sections of the ship near the front and rear of the vessel. The ship without the space background, but with the micro Benny's spaceship(!) still in view. The black A-frame parts are supposed to hold the ship up while it's sitting on a shelf, (as a built-in stand) and a lengthy Technic axle spine helps it keep it's rigidity. (I hope!) The rear of the ship. I was inspired to create the engine pods on the space station after seeing a older post by Flickr user Karf Oohlu. (see it here) The side view as requested on Flickr for use in the eventual SHIPtember 2018 poster. Also, all 168 of those trans-black 1 x 2 tiles are supposed to have this print, as they are solar panels to supplement the ship's power supply. The four 4 x 2 slopes are going to have this Classic Space logo print on them. The red and the black strip is exactly 100 stud's long.. my ship is just barely over that at 103 studs long. Micro Benny's spaceship(!)... not much else to say. It is not technically "in scale" with the space station, but it's close enough. NOTES: I would have put this SHIP (which stands for "Serious Huge Investment in Parts", in case you didn't know!) in with my other Classic Space stuff, but I think it's best to keep mini-figure scale and micro-scale things separate. Anyway, this is my first SHIP and should be built in real life by next SHIPtember (2019) for sure. Comments, questions, suggestions, complaints and such are always welcome.

    1980 Something Space

Hi Eurobricks! I want to share a site I have been working on for the past couple years: www.1980somethingspace.com The site focuses on LEGO Space sets from 1978-1999, check it out!
  15. Hey Eurobricks I wanna share with you my new project - a First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer in UCS-scale. To avoid another long time MOC in WIP Nirvana I started this time with little help from LDD. Dimensions, main frame, angles... took me about a year to set these parts. Because of the LDD file I generated instructions and and part lists for me. On the picture you can see an early version of the ship and one of the latest with much more details. For the moment only one digital render of the ship. There will be some adjustments/tweaks in the "real" version but most of it works fine for me. I already finished the main frame with the instructions... and its good! More pictures will be on flickr Greetings Kommander

    How successful was Galaxy Squad?

I just started buying Lego sets again after a long dark age, so Galaxy Squad was a couple of years before I started paying attention to Lego. I have some questions about it: How successful was Galaxy Squad at the time it came out? It seems well-regarded by AFOLs now, but did it sell well? Was it planned as a single-year release, or did it not perform well enough in the market to be continued as a line? In your opinion, what does the performance of Galaxy Squad say about the viability of non-licenced space themes in the future?
  17. This model was heavily inspired by A Plastic Infinity / Arcane Sweetie Belle's old (2012-ish) build, as seen here on Flickr. I took the basic design of the ship seen there and added newer parts and an updated color-scheme. This Unidentified Flying Object is meant to be the space ship of two of the Unikitty! CMF Alien Puppycorn figures' species. The ship without the figures. The trans yellow cones are simple forward-fixed laser weapons, but don't be deceived: they are only part of the defense grid on this ship! The rear of the ship features two engines, while the lime green 2 x 2 round tiles on the hinged tail are supposed to have this print here for a national symbol. The cockpit can seat two pilot figures and the roof is quite tall, so their unicorn horns can fit. The cockpit hinges to allow access to the inside to place the figures at the controls. The pilots of the ship, as best I could recreated in LDD. They are supposed to be two of these figures here. As usual, any comments, questions, suggestions and / or complaints are welcome. I plan on building the ship in real life after getting my final Classic Space models in order later this year / early 2019, but the alien figures are already on the way right now.
  18. This Orbital Kinetic Strike Satellite, belongs to APOPHIS constellation. This military satellite constellation makes use of special secret-satellite-super-weapons to annihilate objective on Earth: bunker, shelters, hangars, vehicles, buildings, aircrafts, ships, cruise missiles, ICBMs. Operate surgical operations, or devastating attacks. This satellite use 8 electromagnetic rail-gun to shot very hard tungsten carbide rode, accelerate to Mach 20. The destructive effects of this weapon is very substantial compared to other super-weapons of APOPHIS constellation. To maintain and correct orbit this satellite use hydrazine trusters, while satellite systems are powered by two large photovoltaic panel. Cannons are powered by fuel cells, that after 16 shots are exhausted. [MOC] Lego Spy Satellite

Spy satellite from the military and secret constallation APATE. This type of satellite carry two very sensitive and very high resolution photo and video camera, capable to detect the face of a person on the ground on Earth, also their camera can be used in night time thanks to IR sensors installed. The satellite it's powered by two photovoltaic panel and can communicate with Earth with antennas and one parable. To correct and maintain the orbit the satellite use hydrazine trusters. [MOC] Space Probe "NOMAD"

The "NOMAD", ultimate space probe built by Lego Space Agency. It's based from VOYAGERs and PIONEERs probe and design, also this space probe, as others, is equipped with a "golden record", protected inside the probe. The probe communicate with Earth by a large parable, always directed on Earth directions by gyroscopes. Communicate also with antennas. Other antennas and a camera study the external environment, and take pictures of our solar system. The probe is powered by a RTG (Radioisotope thermoelectric generator), and hydrazine trusters can be used to correct the orbit and position. Hope alien can understand our ultimate message. 22. Telecommunications satellite of ASTeCS constellation (Advanced Satellite Teleccomunications Civil System). Every satellite has 5 parables and antennas, to communicate with other satellites and with Earth, hydrazine trusters to correct and maintain orbit in space, and one photovoltaic panel to power satellite systems. The constellation mainly support internet and TV communications all around the world. Looking for Star Trek MOCs

Hi all, as is common for many folks around here, I am getting back into LEGO bricks as an adult. In particular, exploring the world of MOCs has been amazing. One thing that has puzzled me is the relitive lack of Star Trek MOCs (at least as far as I can find). Now, I understand that the LEGO group doesn’t have the rights to make official Star Trek sets, but it seems as if that lack carries over somewhat to the MOC building community. I have searched here at Eurobricks, rebrickabke, BrickLink, and a few other sites, and while I have found a few Star Trek MOCs, many of them are snall or unimpressive, and most of the nice ones seem to be of the starship enterprise or some other star fleet ship. What I am interested in is instructions or LDD files for high quality (UCS level of design, with a high part count, and lots of attention to detail) MOCs of the “bad guy’s” ships (aren’t they always more fun?). I would love to find MOCs of the Klingon bird of prey, the Klingon battle cruisers from the original series and TNG, Romulan bird of prey, the borg cube (the thought of all that black greebling in LEGO form makes me a bit giddy, I must admit!), and other ships along those lines. I found a pretty nice Klingon bird of prey on the site, “MOC Pages” that can give an idea of the sort of thing I was hoping to find; http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/417698 Unfortunately, it seems like this site is mostly for showing off pictures of MOCs, with little ability to share instructions or LDD files. Can anyone share any good MOCs they have found/made along the lines I have mentioned? Are there sites for high quality MOCs that might provide some good results? I really appreciate any help you can provide. Nice to be a part of such a supportive community. Happy building.
  24. Hello out there, it's amazing how time flies, I'll admit I'm not a super moccer, I was when I was younger, before there was such a thing as "mocs" ;) ha anyway, I'm still dabbling here and there and wanted to share another small moc I made. This is celebration of the 60th anniversary and of classic space which I loved then and still do and wish Lego would re-boot it. This is my mini take on LL918, which I had back in the day. I designed with LDD and just finally got around to getting pieces for it. Even Benny approves of this Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! Some more photos available in my Flickr Gallery Thanks for checking it out and hope you enjoy it. It was a small fun little build. I took a bit of liberties adding the flames for a bit of a fun affect. I like how the wheel turned out for the engine and the light saber handles for the landing gear.

    [MOC] M:Tron Mecha MN-02

I wanted to build something really small after building all those medium and big dioramas (2 still waiting for photo sessions). So at evening few days ago I sit down with bricks. Next day morning I made some final touches and...
